“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Free Yourself from the Corporate Compact

by | Dec 15, 2020 | The Agoge | 0 comments

As the world around us gets crazier by the day, every one of us is forced to make a fundamental choice in order to make sense of the madness. If we live based on lies, we will receive comfort and peace, for a time. And the plain, hard, painful fact is that we all have to live with some level of lies in our daily lives. There are many such lies to look at, but I want to concentrate on one kind in particular: the corporate compact. This involves the lies that we must accept when working for others instead of for ourselves. Break the corporate compact that you agreed upon with your employers, and you will suffer terrible consequences – but you must free yourself from it eventually.

The Rat Race

What, exactly, does that compact look like?

Well, it differs from company to company, but only in the minor details. The lies always start from the moment you apply, though. Here’s a representative example taken from a random company’s website:

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, we are open to all talent. We also adhere to Affirmative Action principles. This ensures that all qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment…

You surely will spot the immediate contradiction. An employer cannot believe in both Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action simultaneously. The very idea is an oxymoron. Yet companies must state this, by law. This is but the first of many lies that you will have to accept.

But suppose you interview for the role. In the interviews themselves, you may have to answer a lot of inane and stupid questions about your favourite colour from some HR bimbo with little experience and no practical skills. You will certainly have to endure some level of stupidity from the people interviewing you. I write that as someone who has both interviewed candidates and done many job interviews myself. They are rarely particularly enjoyable for either party, but both must put on a show and pretend that there is some value to the process.

If you land the job, you will live under a suffocating blanket of lies. You cannot question the orthodoxy that women are just as capable as men in all respects. Certainly you must not argue with the notion that diversity is a company’s greatest strength and that teamwork always wins out over individual achievement. And woe betide you if you should ever be foolish enough to refuse to sign up for the latest ALLY or Women in the Workplace initiative.

This all leads you to…:

The Corporate Compact

When you sign on to life in a corporation, especially in any of the GloboHomoCorps that dot the landscape these days, you will be paid a lot of money to, essentially, keep your mouth shut and wallow in filth. Whenever the corporate bumpf says that “our people are our greatest asset!” and “we put our people first!”, don’t believe it. That is perhaps the greatest lie of all.

The modern GloboHomoCorps don’t give the minutest quantum of a damn about you. They view you as cogs in the machine of their operations. The moment that you step out of line, you will be destroyed. Dare to question their orthodoxy, or raise your voice in a manner that someone else deems inappropriate, and you will be fired.

Should you commit the cardinal sin of being a straight White male in a Globocorp, your odds of survival are slim unless you learn how to lie through your teeth – and act like you believe your own bullshit. Even that is no guarantee of safety.

This is all because of the nature of the corporate compact:

Do as we say, accept our lies, believe our nonsense, and you might be rewarded. Step out of line, and you will be destroyed.

In other words, the carrot dangles tantalisingly out of your reach – while the stick pokes uncomfortably into your back at all times.

Get Out of the Trap

Getting away from this situation is not easy and quite often you may well have absolutely no choice other than to do what GloboHomoCorp wants you to do. If you are in a situation like mine, then you definitely don’t have a choice.

I will be leaving the Old Country to return to PommieBastardLande soon. I will start up a course of study that, I hope, will land me a job there. As long as I have to depend on a company for visas and sponsorships, I know I am vulnerable. And I know that I have to keep my mouth shut. That is the reality of the world that I have to go back into, because I cannot continue to stay where I am.

I have attended about half a dozen corporate presentations and lectures so far. Every one of them has given off the same nauseating stench of bovine faecal matter about DIVERISTY!!! and INCLUSION!!! and WE LOVE OUR PEOPLE!!!!!

It’s all nonsense. I’ve been through three layoffs and one failed project and I have no more tolerance left for that crap. I no longer bother listening to it and I know that, if I ever find another GloboHomoCorp job, I will simply be marking time. The goal is simply to get a visa, stay someplace long enough to get residency, and then GTFO.

If you are in a similar situation, then you’ll need the advice later on in this article and in follow-up posts. But for now, you’ll simply have to face the harsh reality that you must live with some measure of lies.

However, if you have a bit more flexibility, then the following advice will help you considerably.

1. Go Into the Trades

If you are a young man, below the age of 20 or so, and you do not feel as though you have a significant aptitude for theoretical concepts or any desire to do a hard science or engineering degree… Don’t.

There is no point in wasting money on the 4-year bacchanalia that is the modren college experience. Yes, you’ll have fun and yes, you’ll probably sow plenty of wild oats. But you won’t actually become a better man in the process. The beers that you chug will taste awful and the sorority sloots that you bang will be just that.

Instead, save your time, effort, and energy, and go to a trade school. Learn how to be an electrician, a plumber, a mechanic, or a truck driver.

For all of the hoopla and hype surrounding the “weightless economy” – a phrase that I have been hearing for about 15 years, mind you – the hard fact is that when Mr. Weirdbeard Smugface’s Tesla shorts out, he still will need a mechanic to fix it. That could be you. There is a real shortage of skilled blue-collar types out there right now. Take advantage of that.

2. ALWAYS Have an Eff-You Fund

I’ve written about this at some length before. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your station, you MUST save money away for a rainy day. Trust me when I say that the rain will last a lot longer than you expect. If you are ready and prepared for this, then you will be far better off when the floods begin.

If you want to know how to get on top of the basics of a freedom-oriented portfolio, try any one of the following options:

  • Read through my “Investing Basics” series here;
  • Check out the now-fully-open Limitless Living course here, which comes packed with a lot of actionable advice about investing, cryptocurrency, and more;
  • Read Nikolai Vladivostok’s book;

The basic idea is to put compound interest to work in YOUR favour. Do this, and within 10 years you will likely have enough money to walk away from your current GloboHomoCorp employers, provided you haven’t made any really stupid mistakes.

3. Create Your Own Side Hustle

The Internet has brought forth its fair share of dangers and problems. But it has also created unparalleled, unprecedented opportunities as well. It has never been easier to create your own web presence and brand, and monetise it.

In this respect, you must always play to your strengths and you must understand that you cannot get money for nothing.

Therefore – if your strength lies in writing, start up your own blog and spread your articles via social media. Write about things that interest you – even if it’s a niche product like shaving. You may find it easier to join an existing site as a contributor. Doing it yourself is a lonely and difficult road.

If you want to create your own site, you need a domain name, a hosting service, and preferably a really good theme. You’ll also want to invest in a VPN to protect your privacy.

If you are a good speaker but not terribly photogenic, then create your own SubscribeStar page and combine it with a PodBean podcast, and get paid for sharing your thoughts with others.

Suppose instead that you have serious video editing skills – or want to develop them – and have some expertise in a particular field or topic. Numerous YouTube channels over the last few years have dedicated themselves to debunking and exposing Islam. And they are doing quite well right now. Being a YouTuber is NOT easy, but it’s not impossible either.

All of these require some initial investment – but not a big one. You could assemble everything you need for under $150 and create a thriving internet-based side hustle within six months if you put in the effort.

The point is, you are only limited by your imagination. So stop limiting yourself and get on with it.

Conclusion – Don’t Live With the Lies

This world would have you believe that you must live on your knees in order to get ahead. The GloboHomoCorps want you to show up at work – or on Zoom, more likely, these days – with knee pads and lip balm to keep your corporate overlords happy. But it doesn’t have to be this way at all times for you. There are in fact ways for you to break free and do your own thing. If you take some basic steps to inoculate yourself from the lies upon which the world is built, you can embark down the long and difficult road to true freedom.

That freedom comes at a price – a terrible one. You must be willing to pay it. But do not ever give in to the greatest lie of all – that there is no hope, that you are trapped, and that you have no way out. You ALWAYS have a way out.

If you need more ideas or want to discuss how to create something that will help you get where you want, then get in touch and let’s see what can be done. Otherwise, keep your head up, have a bit of faith, and ensure that you know yourself well. Once you know where you have issues, you can fix them. In the coming days, both Dawn Pine and I will have articles up to help you achieve that freedom, so stick around for those.

And if you want a great book that will help you stay sane in Corporateland with its wry humour and no-nonsense approach to the craziness, you can’t do much better than this one:
