“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Monday morning menorah mashup

by | Dec 14, 2020 | Mondays | 3 comments

Well, it’s Monday again. And not just any Monday, but the day that the Electoral College meets to elect the next President of the United States of America. Now, obviously, Sleepy Creepy Corrupt Slow Joe Biden didn’t win a fair election, so he will be a Fake President. But the question is, what exactly is the God-Emperor going to do today?

The simple answer is that we don’t know. As I and others have been saying for weeks now, the God-Emperor has precisely one choice left between two very unpalatable options.

Either he slinks away from the White House and gives up on everything that he has fought for over the past 5 years – in which case he puts his freedom, family, fortune, company, associates, legacy, supporters, and nation at the mercy and whims of the Left, who truly hate him.

Or he does the unthinkable (rather, it WAS unthinkable a few weeks ago) and marches a few Marine MEUs over the Potomac to declare martial law under the Insurrection Act and starts hanging traitors and presstitutes (same thing, really) off the bridges.

If the former, he will be destroyed. If the latter, the American system might be destroyed.

History tells us that this kind of purging of the system is necessary at certain points in history. Caesar’s crossing of the Rubicon was one such moment, and look what happened after that.

But history also tells us that the American system is capable of enduring dictators and emerging stronger. President Lincoln was nothing short of a dictator, and America survived him. Woodrow Wilson assumed outright dictatorial powers – quite happily, in fact, with the open support of most of Congress during the Great War – but right after he was rendered helpless by a stroke and President Harding died of a heart attack, America got Calvin Coolidge, one of its truly genuine great leaders.

That, of course, was back when there was an America – a recognisably American nation. No such thing exists anymore. So what happens after Trump crosses the Potomac – IF he does – is anyone’s guess.

It is our fate to live in interesting times. This is no bad thing. We are being hardened and sharpened in this process, for a purpose that we do not understand an cannot see. So do not be unduly worried or afraid. We’re going to get through this, and we’ll find out what happens soon enough.

Now let us move on. Our friend Dawn Pine over in Israel suggested that we take a moment to celebrate Hanukkah, and I’m happy to oblige, especially given how much effort he put into explaining the background and history behind the holiday. Here’s what he has to say:

The story

A Jewish festival commemorating the re-dedication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire. It is also known as the Festival of Lights. This is  observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, called a menorah (or hanukkiah).

The story of Hanukkah is preserved in the books of the First and Second Maccabees, which describe in detail the re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem and the lighting of the menorah. These books are not part of the canonized Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) used by modern Jews, though the Catholic and Orthodox Churches consider them part of the Old Testament.

[That is absolutely true. To expand a little from a Christian point of view, these books were excluded by Martin Luther in compiling his German Bible because he decided to use the Hebrew Masoretic Texts, rather than the Greek Septuagint. Martin Luther erroneously thought that the MT was more accurate because it was in Hebrew – but the Septuagint is in fact far older and more complete. The Babylonian Talmud-era Jews who compiled the modern Tanakh excluded several books, for various political and scriptural reasons, when they compiled the Masoretic Texts, and that mistake has carried on down the centuries to the modern Protestant Bibles. The Catholic and Orthodox Churches have never excluded those books because they use the older Greek manuscripts wherever possible for their source materials. That is a big part of the reason why the Catholic Standard Bible has 7 more books than Protestant Bibles, like the ESV or NIV. – Didact]

Greeks basically (after a power struggle) sought to consolidate power over the population. They used a “carrot and stick” type of policy. On the one hand, they introduced the Hellenic culture (such as gyms) but on the other hands forbade practicing Judaism. According to the books, some people accepted it, to the point of foreskin restoration (remember Jews are circumcised). A man known as Mattathias ben Johanan, who was a priest (and descendent of high priests), refused to worship the Hellenic gods and started, with his 5 sons, the Maccabean Revolt. The name Maccabee in Hebrew, means “Hammer” – so it was “The hammer’s revolt”.The festival of Hanukkah is instituted by Judas Maccabeus and his brothers to celebrate this event (1 Macc. 4:59). Judas seeks an alliance with the Roman Republic to remove the Greeks. He is succeeded by his brother Jonathan, who becomes high priest and also seeks alliance with Rome and confirms alliance with Areus of Sparta (1 Macc. 12:1–23). Simon follows them, receiving the double office of high priest and prince of Israel. (Simon and his successors form the Hasmonean dynasty, which is not always considered a valid kingship by the Jews, since they were not of the lineage of David.) Simon leads the people in peace and prosperity, until he is murdered by agents of Ptolemy, son of Abubus, who had been named governor of the region by the Macedonian Greeks. He is succeeded by his son, John Hyrcanus.

Meaning

Let’s face it, it is a story of reactionary forces versus progressive ones. The Hellenic culture was (those days) the most progressive and advanced culture of the area. We still look up to those amazing people for many reasons (ethics and philosophy to name two). To try to imagine it, is to vision fundamental Christians revolting in the US and succeeding. On second thought…

Picture it: Some mid-level Congressman starts a revolt, with his family. He gathers a militia and goes against the US army. He wins, and claims his territory.

Oh, and he does that and still most people look at his lineage and say: “Well, they are not real presidents”. Yes, Israelis wanted their rulers to be related to David.

Also, the revolt started with Mattathias killing first a Jew who wanted to comply with Antiochus’s order to sacrifice to Zeus, and then a Greek official who was to enforce the government’s behest. Not saying anything on future predictions.

Conclusion

The Hashmonai state lasted about 100 years, until a rivalry between the brothers Aristobulus II and Hyrcanus II, both of whom appealed to the Roman Republic to intervene and settle the power struggle on their behalf. Yes – let’s call the best military force of the time to bring peace. What can go wrong?

The Roman general Gnaeus Pompeius Magnus (Pompey the Great)  conquered the area and 12,000 Jews were massacred in the Roman Siege of Jerusalem. The Priests of the Temple were struck down at the Altar. Yes, exactly as they planned it. No?

His Most Illustrious, Noble, August, Benevolent, and Legendary Celestial Majesty, the God-Emperor of Mankind, Donaldus Triumphus Magnus Astra, the First of His Name, the Lion of Midnight, may the Lord bless him and preserve him, is heavily marketing the results of Operation Warp Speed:

As I’ve stated quite bluntly before, I consider that vaccine to be a huge mistake and I strongly advise against taking it. I am NOT against vaccines as a general rule – as long as they are safe, tested, and reliable. These mRNA vaccines currently being developed and released by Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, and others, are none of those things.

Hell, at this point, if vaccines become mandatory, I would rather go to the Russians and get their Sputnik V vaccine over the Pfizer one. Or I’d simply pay a few hundred or even a thousand dollars for a black market vaccination certificate.

DNI Ratcliffe is wrong about America’s ability to win a war against China in the South or East China Sea. Not gonna happen. The days of American carrier-based dominance of the seas are basically over. It’s just a matter of time until that happens.

But DNI Ratcliffe is right about China being America’s greatest foreign threat. That has been true for decades. American leadership is only just waking up to it – and barely, at that.

This video from John Stossel about the “Social Impact Investing” scam is a very timely one:

Our beloved and dreaded Supreme Dark Lord (PBUH) Vox Day has some very powerful insights to offer, via a book written by a pair of Chinese strategists 20 years ago, about the ways in which the never-to-be-sufficiently-cursed whorenalists of the (((media))) are a weapon of war:

That book that he references, Unrestricted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America by two Chinese PLA Colonels, Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui, is an explication of China’s “Hybrid Warfare” theory of fighting that we have known for some time now is the core combat doctrine of the Chinese military.

The level of Chinese infiltration into the USA is pretty shocking. Even more shocking is the fact that America has allowed it all to happen. China and the West are NOT compatible civliisations. Both have their own great strengths – and glaring weaknesses. They are at their best when engaged in nothing much more than trade and competition. But allowing Chinese nationals – whose first loyalty was, is, and will always be to ZHONG GUO REN – into the West to settle and live there is proving to be an historic and terrible mistake.

Hell, that’s true of any imported culture. Indians are loyal first and foremost to Hindutva. Africans prefer to keep to their own animistic cultures. Arabs are some of the lowest-trust and lowest-performance cultures in the world. Jews are low-trust, high-performance types – so are the Chinese.

Simply put, when you allow lots of immigrants into your country, you also allow in loads of foreign infiltrators. And you will not easily be able to distinguish between who is, and is not, an enemy agent.

Better by far to do what the Russians do and simply refuse to admit them outright, or deport them when they act like jackasses.

Your “Science is F***ING WEIRD” moment of the week is from Dawn Pine, and is all about string theory and black holes:

Over the decades, theoretical physicists have been hard at work to find something — anything — to explain black holes. Something that explains the information paradox and something to replace the singularity with math that works.

Among those theorists are the ones working on string theory, which is a model of the universe that replaces all the particles and forces that you love with subatomic, vibrating strings. In string theory, these strings are the fundamental constituents of matter in the universe, but we can’t see them as strings because they’re so small. Oh, and in order for the math of string theory to work, there must be extra dimensions — all tiny any curled up on themselves to subatomic scales so that we don’t see those, either.

String theory claims to be a theory of everything, capable of explaining every kind of particle, every kind of force, and basically everything in the universe (and, for completeness, the whole entire universe itself).

So string theory should be able to explain the unexplainable: it should be able to replace black holes with something less frightening.

And, indeed, string theorists have proposed a less-scary replacement for black holes. They’re called fuzzballs.

The Male Brain’s comment on the subject sums things up perfectly:

“Crazy non-disprovable theory = I want attention and funding, and I’ll do something about it – like writing a clickbait article”.

Your long read of the week is from The Saker and looks at the latest round of idiotic sabre-rattling coming out of Europe directed toward Russia:

What is NATO today? First, a coalition of small countries trying to find the courage to bark at the Russian bear the way dozens of chihuahuas would bark at a big brown bear. These small countries are what I call “prostitute states” – they don’t want sovereignty, freedom or dignity. All they want is for Uncle Shmuel to protect them when they bark and for the EU to give them tons of money as a reward for their prostitution to the collective West. They are apparently unaware that Uncle Shmuel is a world champion in destroying countries, but in terms of actually winning wars, Uncle Shmuel is one of the worst war losers in history (in that sense, the US and Russian militaries are polar opposites). They are also apparently unaware that the EU is broke and in a deep crisis. Besides, even the normally compliant the Germans are now getting fed up spending billions of Euros on their clueless and hopeless eastern neighbors (and I don’t blame them!).

There are also more civilized countries in NATO, countries which used to have some very real military power and a history of winning and losing wars: Germany, the UK, France, etc – what Rumsfeld called “Old Europe”. They are all former imperial powers of their own, and they are much more aware of what it takes to win (or lose) a war.

Their problem, however, is that they are now true US protectorates/colonies, with no real foreign policy of their own. Their top leaders, political and military, are also prostitutes, just like “New Europe”, so while they have a wealth of historical experience to draw from, they cannot act on it because of the iron grip Uncle Shmuel has on their political throats. Even France, which used to have some real independence, under such leaders as de Gaulle and Mitterrand, now is just another voiceless and clueless protectorate.

Which leaves the US. I won’t repeat it all here, but to sum it all up: there are only two segments of the US military forces which are still meaningfully combat capable: the nuclear triad and the US submarine forces (strategic and attack). Both use mostly old, even outdated, equipment, both waste absolutely fantastic sums of money, but both are still for real. The problem with such a lop-sided force is that while it can devastate any enemy, it can only do so at the cost of being devastated by the Russian counter-strikes. In other words, by the time the US SSN and SSBN are engaged against Russia, we will be dealing with a large-scale war (even more so if nukes are used, which they probably will, at least on the tactical level). Oh, and this too: no amount of subs and nukes can “protect” any part of Europe from a (entirely hypothetical) Russian attack (conventional or not). For that, you still need the one thing the US has the least of: combat capable “boots on the ground”.

Did you know that in the 1990s Russia had almost no defenses in the western direction? Nothing bigger than division/brigade sized forces. And they were all in very bad shape. And the Kremlin, under Eltsin, only wanted to further “reform” (i.e. “destroy”) the Russian military.

So what brought about such dramatic changes in the Russian force posture?

The EU/US/NATO war against the Serbian nation.

The Saker is not the only one to point out that the incredibly stupid and foolish American wars in the former Yugoslavia were a huge mistake. LTC Tom Kratman has long argued that the American and NATO interventions in the Balkan Wars were due to President Clinton’s efforts to get headlines about his dick in the fat chick’s mouth off the front pages of the world’s newspapers, and was an historic mistake.

I heartily agree with both of them. Russia is not a natural enemy of Western Europe – or at least, it wouldn’t be if Western Europe would just stay the hell OUT of Russia’s geographic sphere of influence and Western buffer zone. European leaders DO NOT understand the Russian psyche and mindset, at all. Never have, and probably never will.

This is a disaster for all concerned, because as The Saker points out, Russia is actually very, very good at winning wars fought on its own turf. Its entire thousand-year history is one long series of lessons in how to prepare for and fight real wars. And the Russian military today is a far cry from the broke-ass pathetic shell of its Soviet self that it used to be in the 90s. Today, the Russian military is professional, slimmed-down, battle-hardened, well-trained, with a true NCO corps (one of its great weaknesses during Soviet times), and technologically advanced with real and powerful toys to play with.

This is not a military that should be taken lightly. The Russians can fight and win on their own soil against anyone short of a full US invasion – and against the latter, they can still retreat deep into their own homelands and watch as the Americans and Europeans flounder due to enormous supply lines and extreme conditions.

Anyone who thinks that war against Russia is a Good Idea, is smoking some seriously strong shit and needs a severe beating with a clue bat.

Apparently Jezza doesn’t think too much of Hammster’s French-speaking skills either:

“Richard went to the hotel beach hut and returned half an hour later with three masks and a contented look on his face, saying, ‘My French is really coming along. I just had a proper conversation with the man in the hut.’

“That night we discovered a British tourist had been eaten by a shark off the very same beach the day before,” Jeremy added.

Following Richard’s conversation with a local, Jeremy shared his concerns with his co-star about his ability to speak French.

He said: “‘Hammond,’ I inquired, ‘this French you spoke, did he say, ‘Do be careful, a man was eaten here yesterday,’ and you replied, ‘The pen of my aunt’?”

And at long last, after much cocking about, here is your Instathot for the week. And for once, I have absolutely no idea who this is. She publishes no biographical information on her Instaham page (good for her). So I’ll just leave her as Anonymous Fake (Tits) Blonde, probably in her late 20s, from Moscow, Russia.

Something about her is definitely a bit odd, though. If you look at her Instagram archive, she repeats the same photos over and over again, yet has somehow managed to build a following of over 250K. To me, that indicates a highly artificial and manufactured presence. And I strongly suspect that is not the only thing artificial or manufactured about her. Also, she might be quite a bit older than she looks. Something about the skin around her eyes indicates that she might well be in her mid-thirties. But that’s just speculation.

That’s it for this week, chaps. Away with ye now.

First time I saw a Dr Turek video I thought the title was saying ‘Dr Turok’ and I remembered the dinosaur game that my brother used to play on Nintendo and ps3. This guy needs to make a structured video course explaining everything about Christianity from start. Seems like his brain can fit 100 volumes of encyclopedia.

It’s one of those times where I wish I knew history and religion, because I have no clue about the references he is giving. I don’t mean general sources like the Book of Enoch or any other chapters, but rather, the verses and the meaning of words and translations.

In school, we were just told to memorize events and parrot them on paper and that’s it. That is one of the worst subjects to apply this testing method. Of course you have to remember things, but putting them to context and be able to extract meaning is a skillset that my teachers were severely lacking.

First time I saw a Dr Turek video I thought the title was saying ‘Dr Turok’ and I remembered the dinosaur game that my brother used to play on Nintendo and ps3

Yeah I remember that game. The very first game in the original series came out way back when I was still a kid. I’ve never played the series, but the idea of a dino-hunting game always seemed pretty cool.

In school, we were just told to memorize events and parrot them on paper and that’s it. That is one of the worst subjects to apply this testing method. Of course you have to remember things, but putting them to context and be able to extract meaning is a skillset that my teachers were severely lacking.

Indeed. This is the absolute WORST way to teach the Scriptures. Rote memorisation does not provide a solid grounding in the faith. So when an atheist or an Islamic dawah preacher comes along to attack the faith of someone who just learned about Jesus and the Bible at Sunday school, without any real apologetic grounding, that person’s faith shatters.

In my personal journey with Christ, I have found that questioning and seeking and arguing are far more effective means of deepening and widening one’s faith. That is “iron sharpening iron”, as it were, and it works. The more that one seeks to question and attack the Bible with the goal of seeking the truth, the more powerful and more profound the arguments become within and for it.

The biggest mistake that the Christian world EVER made was to turn Jesus Christ into some sort of gentle, meek, all-forgiving figure of love and care who never lifted a finger against anyone. This is such an idiotic misrepresentation of Jesus that it makes my blood boil whenever I see or hear it. The true Jesus was a HARD man who preached a very, very hard Gospel. He was a warrior in the truest and most profound sense of the word. He was – and is – compassion incarnate, with love for all that come to seek Him. But He was, and is, also the one Earthly being that evil truly fears. Those who choose to follow Him, and enter through the narrow door, must pay a terrible price for doing so. But what we gain is well worth it.

Children in the West need to hear a lot more about the price that has to be paid, and the maturation that comes with it, and a lot less about the soft-n-cuddly fluff and nonsense that they are taught these days.

“The biggest mistake that the Christian world EVER made was to turn Jesus Christ into some sort of gentle, meek, all-forgiving figure of love and care who never lifted a finger against anyone.”

It’s like they just ignore the story of the moneychangers in the temple, not to mention the verse about how He came not to bring peace, but a sword. It especially burns my ass when “Christians” twist “love thy neighbor” and “turn the other cheek” into “standing down is the proper response to any and all aggression, unwarranted included, and defending yourself is wrong.” I DON’T think that’s what Christ had in mind.

I went to Catholic school for 8 years, and although I know plenty about the other major faiths in broad strokes, I know shockingly little about the history and key figures of my own, thanks to said rote memorization teaching (one brother forced us to memorize all 27 books of the NT). I’ve been working to remedy that lately.

Also, Bergoglio the heretic needs to go ASAP.
