That weekend sure zipped by damned fast – and, of course, we had the sad, though perhaps inevitable, news of the great Peter Cullen‘s passing. More than a few of us reading this ‘ere pokey blog grew up watching the Transformers shows. In my case, I watched parts of the original series, then the follow-ons, bits of Beast Wars, most of Transformers Prime, and of course the Bayformers movies. Which were objectively terrible in a lot of ways (except for Megan Fox’s rack, of course), but are still a great guilty pleasure.
So let us pay tribute to the voice of a generation’s childhood, with some of the best moments of Mr. Cullen’s career-defining role as Optimus Prime:
