“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

The war that will break a President

by | Mar 5, 2026 | Politics | 4 comments

Operation: EPIC FORK-UP is now entering, or in, its seventh day, depending on your time-zone. The war that was originally supposed to last 4 days, is now supposedly going to last up to 4 WEEKS. The same Trump Administration officials – including the President himself – who said that this would be a quick, decisive, painless, supremely successful, shockingly awesome (so to speak) regime-change operation, are now having to grapple with the increasingly obvious reality that the Iranian regime has survived.

Worse, that same regime is hitting back, hard.

To be sure, Iran has absorbed tremendous damage throughout Operation: AIPAC FURY. It is clear that, in the first 24 hours, the Epstein Class forces of the US and Israel managed to kill Ayatollah Khamenei and much of his family – including his wife, his 14-month-old granddaughter, and several others – along with a significant number of leading lights in the Iranian military and political hierarchy. Tehran and a number of other key Iranian cities have suffered serious missile and bomb strikes.

Most of the above-water Iranian Navy has been sunk, much of the Iranian Air Force has been shot down or destroyed on the ground, and a substantial number of Iran’s critical military and civilian infrastructure objects have been hit.

This includes Iranian nuclear enrichment sites at Fordow and Natanz, as well as its civilian nuclear reactor project at Bushehr – which, by the way, is a joint project with the Russia nuclear power colossus Rosatom. The latter has ceased work at the site, because it has no contact with the central government in Iran, and has no idea whether its workers are safe.

The bombing campaign against the Iranian government has been relentless and brutal. The government estimates that will over a thousand Iranians are already dead, and that number will surely skyrocket as this insane and idiotic war continues.

But the Iranians are not an easily cowed or broken people. They, like China, Russia, and India, are a civilisation-state, with a history going back well over 3,000 years. They have responded quickly and effectively to the decapitation strikes launched against their top leaders. Evidently, they did learn a few lessons from the last go-round in June 2025, when the level and depth of Israeli penetration of Iranian intelligence and government networks became fully apparent. Back then, the Iranians were slow to respond – it took them a full 12 hours to get on top of the attacks on their air defence networks and government assets. This time, though, they reacted within under 2 hours.

Moreover, as their own top leaders have made clear, both the regular military and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps – their elite “military outside of the military”, as it were – have moved to a decentralised “Mosaic Plan”. This gives local commanders considerable autonomy, and the ability to operate independently of any centralised or formal chain of command. Decapitating the IRGC leadership, or the Iranian government, therefore does nothing to stop Iran’s forces from launching rocket, missile, and drone attacks on Israeli and US assets.

That is precisely what they have done.

US bases across the Middle East have come under serious attack. There is very visible and clear damage to bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and American assets in the UAE. Embassies, consulates, and even hotels and residences, across the region, have all been attacked. The Iranians are not pulling their punches, at all. They are going after not only American assets, but the supporting infrastructure that keeps the global economy functioning.

The strategies of the two sides could not be more obvious – or more different.

The American strategy, insofar as there was one, involved achieving the decapitation and paralysis of the Iranian government within the first 48 hours of the attack. The idea evidently was that Drumpf would pull off a fait accompli over the weekend, and triumphantly prove to the global markets that he was the great leader who managed to bring America’s most serious enemy in the Middle East directly to heel. Regime change was the name of the game.

That failed, utterly and completely, because – as usual – the neoclowns and the useful idiots in Washington had absolutely no idea what the hell they were dealing with. Inevitably, this pack of assclowns listened to the Iranian exiles and elites who fled the country after the Shah was deposed, and believed those same exiles when they said that all the US needed to do was to drop a few bombs, kill the Ayatollah, and all would be well.

(Incidentally, Stanislav Krapivnik made the excellent point in one of his recent videos that this is exactly why you must never, ever listen to the exiles from a foreign power. Those people will do and say ANYTHING to convince the leaders of a great power to help them. This happened before the Banderastan War, too; there were MORE than a few Ukrainian exiles living in Moscow, who bent the Neo-Tsar’s ear, and told him that if he only pushed hard enough, the Ukrainian government would buckle, the people would rise up in rebellion, and all would be well. In his case, the gamble very nearly worked, as I have pointed out many times in the years since. In this case, the gamble failed utterly.)

So now the American strategy has shifted to… well, nobody quite knows what any longer, because the messaging from the White House and the Oval Office is all over the place. First we heard from Trump that it might go on for a few weeks. Then it somehow turned into 4 weeks. Then it turned into 100 days – and at one point someone floated the idea that it might last until September. Now Drumpf and Hegseth want us to believe that it will last “as long as it takes” to achieve the objectives of what the Pentaloons are calling a “Large Scale Military Operation”, or LSMO.

If anyone notices the very obvious parallels between this, and what the Russians did in 2022, he is very quickly discouraged from following that line of inquiry too closely. This of course is the special hypocrisy of Americans, who believe themselves to be the exceptional people who can do whatever they want, whenever they want, to whomever they want. It is so tiresomely stupid, not least because this attitude is precisely what has gotten America into endless trouble time and time again.

It is easy to pretend the rules do not apply to you as a nation and a people. It is much harder to continue that pretence when those same rules kick your teeth out.

And that is precisely what is happening now.

The American strategy is non-existent. Its objectives do not make sense and have no coherence or substance. “Regime change” is not a strategy, it is merely a wish. A true strategy involves focusing the operational capabilities of an entire system of systems on a very clearly defined set of objectives, with a clear plan for achieving them in a systematic and precise fashion.

None of that is true with America today.

The Iranian strategy is completely different. It involves simply outlasting the US and Israel, while conserving its strength and striking power. This is exactly what Iran has been doing until now. Although it has received fearful punishment, Iran’s combat capabilities appear basically undiminished. Yes, its air force and navy appear destroyed. Its most powerful air defence systems – the new Chinese and Russian ones that many speculated had started to make their way into the country – are mysteriously absent. There is speculation that the Iranians are conserving those for when the B-2 bombers show up – except those already have, and yet the systems that should be able to detect them and shoot them down, have been silent.

But Iran’s ability to launch missiles and drones appears undiminished. It has been systematically targeting and destroying the oil and gas production, transportation, and refining facilities of the various Gulf nations around it. Iran has shut the Straits of Hormuz, through which something like 20% of the world’s oil flows via tankers – though they have played a cunning sleight of hand there, by saying that their military has not shut the Straits. Yet, the IRGC, the “parallel military”, as it were, has shut the channel, and is busy attacking whatever ships try to get through, to reinforce the point.

Iran’s strategy is one of attrition warfare. The government and military structures simply need to survive long enough for the US and Israel to run out of missile interceptors, and to start to run out of strike weapons. That is already happening. There is already talk of the US and Israel reducing the intensity of the daily strikes, to ensure that their weapons supplies last longer.

But, sooner or later – within about the next 3-4 weeks – both countries will run out of meaningful quantities of ammunition that they can throw at Iran. Worse, America’s allies in the region will also run out of air defence missiles that they can use to protect their own facilities – not that this helps them very much, given how utterly shoddy American AD actually is.

The point is that, to steal a phrase from a different war – the Americans and Israelis have the watches, but the Iranians have the time.

Each side is looking to inflict unbearable amounts of pain upon the other. The Americans and Israelis think they can do this by bombing Iran into submission. This does not work without ground troops – regime change NEVER happens just because of bombs falling from the sky. It did not happen during Operation: DESERT STORM in 1991. It did not happen during the gang-rape of Yugoslavia in 1999 – few remember these days that Milosevic had to resign around a year AFTER the end of that particularly heinous Western crime, and for reasons that were not directly related to the bombing itself. And it did not happen in 2003.

The Iranians, by contrast, are attacking the things that actually matter – American bases, Gulf oil and gas production facilities, and transportation routes.

The consequences for the entire world are extremely dire, and terrifying.

Consider: Iraq has shut down production of oil at its largest field. Saudi Arabia has shut down significant parts of its oil production. Qatar has stopped liquefaction of LNG. Several other countries in the region have drawn down their production of crude oil – including Kuwait.

Either those countries must now stockpile that oil in their storage tanks – which they will ALL fill up very quickly, in a matter of mere DAYS. Or they will simply have to shut down their oil production entirely. Restarting oil and gas production facilities is not a simple matter. It takes days, if not weeks, to get them back up and running, and another couple of weeks to get them up to full capacity.

This means that, within the next MONTH, oil prices are going to go STRATOSPHERIC. They have already jumped a good US$10 or so per barrel in the space of a few days. Once they hit US$100/bbl, that means gasoline prices in the US hitting US$5/gal on average.

Natural gas prices are also skyrocketing. The Europeans are staring down the barrel of 50%-75% increases in natural gas prices, at precisely the time that they are losing their industries due to sky-high energy prices across their countries. Being led by utter morons, they have turned their backs on Russian oil and natural gas, and have insisted on putting all their eggs in the American basket.

Now, the Europeans have a limited ability to keep gas prices down, because there ARE local gas markets in Europe that will allow them to source some of what they need. But they still depend heavily on the Americans for LNG supplies – at three or four times the price of the old Russian pipeline gas they used to get reliably and regularly, by the way.

Suppose, though, that the God-Emperor wakes up one day in a few weeks’ time, sees petrol prices skyrocketing in his country, and decides to release oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve – and then bans exports of oil and gas to Europe, because it is more badly needed in the US itself.

At that point, EUROPE IS BONED. It will basically cease to exist as a continent. Parts of the Dirt World will find themselves in the odd position of laughing at the Euroweenies, who will end up starving and impoverished, in a way that they have not experienced in roughly 800 years.

Once again, all Iran has to do, is to endure the pain for another 3-4 weeks, at which point the full range of pain will hit the West.

The US will be out of missiles and air defence interceptors. So will Israel – and all of America’s Arab Gulf dependents. The FUSA does not have the industrial capacity to scale up production of either cruise missiles or air defence interceptors quickly.

Nor will it be able to depend on its naval bases in the region, which Iran is hammering with its own strike missiles. So its aircraft carrier battle groups in the region will have to sail to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, or to other, more distant, ports for resupply and repair.

This will all happen at around the time when oil and gas prices will start hitting all-new highs, forcing political pain onto the Trump Administration in a way that it has not yet known.

At that point, the Iranians will be free to launch their best and most capable missiles against a depleted Israel. Already, the Paper Dome has proven woefully inadequate for stopping Iranian missile attacks – despite very heavy censorship, some videos and pictures do get through, and they show extreme damage to civilian infrastructure from Iranian attacks.

So Drumpf and the neoclowns face a choice. Either they must find an off-ramp… which they never will, because Lady “Gay for War” Graham is too busy touching himself and wearing out his pool-boys to stop now. Or, they will quadruple down, by pledging ground troops for Iran.

And that will be the end of President Trump.

His Presidency is already irretrievably broken. He came into office promising to be the “Peace President”, who would refuse to start any new stupid pointless foreign wars. Yet, in over a year in office during his second term, not only has he singularly failed to stop any real wars – especially the one in Ukraine – but he has actually started several new conflicts, including this latest one.

Only the most deluded of MAGA types will stay with Drumpf any longer. Those, like me, who supported him and called him the God-Emperor in his first term, did so because we could see and legitimately argue that he had done what no President since, probably, Calvin Coolidge had managed to do: he did not get America involved in any new wars, and he tried very hard to get America out of its existing entanglements.

But this Angry Short Trump is not that same man.

He has doomed his Presidency. The Republicucks are already looking at a crushing defeat in the midterms, against Daemoncrats who looked hopelessly out to sea just 16 months ago. Once there is a new House in power, they will move immediately to impeach Trump – and, this time, he probably will not have the Senate to save him.

And, frankly, Angry Short Trump, whoever he is, deserves to be impeached.

He has let Israel determine his foreign policy. This is not an America First war – it is an Israel First one. Rumour has it that, when Netanyahu visited Trump this last time, he openly threatened the Americans that he would launch a nuclear strike against Iran, unless the Americans agreed to get involved.

I can well believe that. It is entirely in line with Israeli doctrine and dogma, which dictates the survival of the Jewish state, at all possible costs, by weakening and destroying any threat in the region. If the Jews have to launch nuclear attacks against the world’s oil suppliers to keep themselves safe, they will do it.

It has become absolutely clear to all of us who are paying attention, that the Epstein Class of elite Jews and their enablers are the enemies of humanity itself. It is also absolutely obvious that Israel itself is a rogue state, a pariah that obeys no norms of civilised behaviour or decency. This is a country with a government which claims it can strike anyone it likes, for any reason, at any time, and may commit the most heinous of crimes – but the moment anyone calls them on their bullshit, they play the victim and start whining and bleating about anti-Semitism.

We are now well past the point where expelling the Jews and sending them back to Israel could reasonably be called “racist”. It is now a survival mechanism for virtually every nation in the West, and especially for the US. Under no circumstances can American or Western foreign policy be placed in the hands of people that quite literally have set all of us on the path to self-destruction.

As for Trump – he deserves to be forgotten. He has failed. He has become everything he promised to destroy and reform. If he had any sense whatsoever, he would declare victory tomorrow – but he is now talking about putting American boots on the ground, and is desperately trying to get the Kurds involved in Iran, as a way to distract the Iranians and put more pressure on them.

This will not work. If there is ONE thing the Iranians, the Turks, and the Syrians can agree about, it is that they all hate the Kurds, and will not countenance any attempts by them to create an independent state.

This catastrophuck we find ourselves in, was entirely avoidable. Drumpf got us all into this mess through a war of choice that is absolutely and blatantly illegal, and which the US has no hope of winning, because it has no strategy and no clear objective.

If the war ends within the next week or so, we might just avoid a global economic meltdown. But if Drumpf gets his way, the world economy is going straight over the edge of the abyss, with no hope in sight of recovery.

Die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

MAGA and Trump’s downfall began in 2017, right after he took office. He should have immediately gotten to work building a network of subordinates who would carry his efforts after his term(s) was over. He did not, he had no plan to prevent the blatantly obvious attempt to steal the election, and he has no succession plan now. And it shows.

Trump’s made a career of playing hero ball, but you can’t do that in politics. He needs teammates and he’s horrible at picking them. See: Bibi. It’s too late to turn the ship around. The work for that should have been done 12 years ago. We staved off collapse for a decade, which is commendable, but couldn’t stop it. Keep your powder dry, gentlemen.

Thanks for the excellent analysis. Of course regime media, aka Fox and CNN won’t present the reality of what is happening at all. Moar please!

I prefer the term Recucklicons, because they are cucks and conmen. Democrats are Demsheviks.

And Trump is Emperor Trumpligula. Kinda like Caligula, but orange.

    We are so fooked!

Mr. Trump thinks he is in a Euripidean Tragedy, so he turns the prologue into a monologue largely about him and his plight, and he insists upon and then waits in vain for the deus ex machina that he is sure will save him. He then turns what used to be the chorus into a string of abused former advisors who sing a mournful monody of life as part of Team Trump.
