On September 30th, 2022, the Neo-Tsar signed treaties with the formerly Ukrainian regions of Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozh’ye, and Kherson, and he gave a speech in the St. George Hall (technically the Hall of the Order of St. George) within the Grand Kremlin Palace, to commemorate the occasion and explain Russia’s new priorities and geopolitical objectives. As such speeches go, it was an extraordinary one that basically saw Putin carpet-bomb with napalm the very few remaining bridges with the Empire of Lies. Here it is, in full:
You can read the full speech for yourself here. I assure you, it is worth the time and effort. The translation is, from what I can tell, quite accurate and conveys the true import and meaning of the Neo-Tsar’s words.
I must note that Putin is not a particularly charismatic public speaker – nor, in fact, does he intend to be. He is a lawyer by training, and his speaking mannerisms reflect that background. His speeches are full of facts and data, rarely punctuated by significant rhetorical flourishes. They are a reflection of the man himself – coldly pragmatic, yet highly moderate, balanced, and considered, with every word weighed and measured for maximum impact.
The speech signifies a radical change in the way that Russia will conduct the Banderastan War. More, it represents a fundamental shift in the way that Russia will deal with the West.
No more will Russia treat the Western world as equals and partners. From now on, Russia charts its own course, without regard or care for what the West thinks of it. The world’s true commodities superpower will now build out its relationships with its Eurasian partners, and will seek a multipolar “fair world order” that emphasises due process, national sovereignty, and international law.
Or so he says, anyway. We must examine parts of the speech to see where the Neo-Tsar gets it right, and where he is perhaps a little loose with his history. The Neo-Tsar did the rhetorical equivalent of picking up an armoured glove and smashing it across the collective West’s face – and then put it on and punched the West’s teeth out.
The Right to Self-Determination
Today we will sign treaties on the accession of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye Region and Kherson Region to the Russian Federation. I have no doubt that the Federal Assembly will support the constitutional laws on the accession to Russia and the establishment of four new regions, our new constituent entities of the Russian Federation, because this is the will of millions of people. (Applause.)
It is undoubtedly their right, an inherent right sealed in Article 1 of the UN Charter, which directly states the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples.
I repeat, it is an inherent right of the people. It is based on our historical affinity, and it is that right that led generations of our predecessors, those who built and defended Russia for centuries since the period of Ancient Rus, to victory.
When the Neo-Tsar signed the treaties recognising the accession of these new territories into Russia, he profoundly altered the entire calculus of the war in Ukraine, with the stroke of a pen. And he knew perfectly well what he was doing. If you honestly believe that all of this happened by random chance, without some sort of plan in place, then I have a Bermuda call option on the Brooklyn Bridge to sell you. The reality is that this entire moment was carefully planned out, to maximise the impact upon an increasingly impoverished and constrained West.
In recognising these territories first as independent nations, and then as parts of Russia, the Neo-Tsar took the entire false doctrine that the USSA has used as its excuse for invading country after country for a full century, and threw it right back in the face of the collective West.
Ever since Woodrow Wilson came up with his misguided and overly idealistic notion of “self-determination” as the best way to draw national borders, the USSA has used that template as its own guiding ideology, and has sponsored revolutions and uprisings around the world in the supposed “national interest” of the peoples involved. Never mind that this has brought untold suffering and calamity in most of the places where the Empire has done this – including Ukraine, with the two (yes, TWO) colour revolutions of 2004 and 2014.
The Neo-Tsar’s reasoning is that, if the USSA can create a fake nation where none exists, out of the Kosovo-Metohija region of Serbia, and if it can pretend that Taiwan is not de facto if not de jure part of China, then Russia can jolly well argue, with far greater authority and legitimacy, that Novorossiya is part of Russia proper.
This is GENIUS-LEVEL strategy, make no mistake. Russia has shown the entire world that it has held clean, free, and fair elections on a single issue – one that dozens if not hundreds of international observers looked at and stated clearly was conducted without intimidation or ballot-rigging. Therefore, Russia has the clear moral high ground, and has simply used the West’s own rigged “rules” against it.
When the Soviet Union collapsed, the West decided that the world and all of us would permanently accede to its dictates. In 1991, the West thought that Russia would never rise after such shocks and would fall to pieces on its own. This almost happened. We remember the horrible 1990s, hungry, cold and hopeless. But Russia remained standing, came alive, grew stronger and occupied its rightful place in the world.
Meanwhile, the West continued and continues looking for another chance to strike a blow at us, to weaken and break up Russia, which they have always dreamed about, to divide our state and set our peoples against each other, and to condemn them to poverty and extinction. They cannot rest easy knowing that there is such a great country with this huge territory in the world, with its natural wealth, resources and people who cannot and will not do someone else’s bidding.
The West is ready to cross every line to preserve the neo-colonial system which allows it to live off the world, to plunder it thanks to the domination of the dollar and technology, to collect an actual tribute from humanity, to extract its primary source of unearned prosperity, the rent paid to the hegemon. The preservation of this annuity is their main, real and absolutely self-serving motivation. This is why total de-sovereignisation is in their interest. This explains their aggression towards independent states, traditional values and authentic cultures, their attempts to undermine international and integration processes, new global currencies and technological development centres they cannot control. It is critically important for them to force all countries to surrender their sovereignty to the United States.
In his speech, the Neo-Tsar repeatedly came back to this point, about how the Western powers were desperate to rip apart Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union. They wanted to subjugate the entire country, loot its natural resources, and leave behind a broken and crippled country that could never again rise to threaten Western interests.
The reason why they failed, has a name. It is Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. HE waged a war against the Jewish oligarchs who plundered his country and raped his people, and sent them packing. That is hardly to say that Putin himself is a paragon of virtue – he assuredly is not. The fact is that he has become fabulously wealthy, beyond the dreams of avarice, in the process. Nobody really knows how much he is worth. But he has also ensured that Russia’s resources remain under the control of the Russian people.
Moreover, the Neo-Tsar pointed out an obvious truth – that Russia is a country that is also a unique and distinct civilisation, which has every right to choose its own destiny. He is entirely correct in this aspect. Russia’s history dates back all the way to 862, at the very least, when Prince Rurik founded the state of the Kievan Rus’ in Novgorod (what the Russians today call Great Novgorod). Since then, Russia has created for itself a completely distinct culture, based on the pillars of Orthodox Christianity, Greek and to a lesser extent Roman philosophy, the Russian language, and the alliance of the European and Eurasian nations. These pillars are considerably less clear-cut than they are in the West, but they are distinct pillars nonetheless.
If Russia is a unique nation, surely it has the right to choose its own unique destiny? That is precisely the point the Neo-Tsar makes.
Some Mistaken History
It is worth reminding the West that it began its colonial policy back in the Middle Ages, followed by the worldwide slave trade, the genocide of Indian tribes in America, the plunder of India and Africa, the wars of England and France against China, as a result of which it was forced to open its ports to the opium trade. What they did was get entire nations hooked on drugs and purposefully exterminated entire ethnic groups for the sake of grabbing land and resources, hunting people like animals. This is contrary to human nature, truth, freedom and justice.
While we – we are proud that in the 20th century our country led the anti-colonial movement, which opened up opportunities for many peoples around the world to make progress, reduce poverty and inequality, and defeat hunger and disease.
To emphasise, one of the reasons for the centuries-old Russophobia, the Western elites’ unconcealed animosity toward Russia is precisely the fact that we did not allow them to rob us during the period of colonial conquests and forced the Europeans to trade with us on mutually beneficial terms. This was achieved by creating a strong centralised state in Russia, which grew and got stronger based on the great moral valuesof Orthodox Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Buddhism, as well as Russian culture and the Russian word that were open to all.
The Neo-Tsar is, however, guilty of some liberties, to say the least, taken with the history of his country. The most egregious of these concerns his remarks concerning Western colonialism. He makes it sound as though Russia had nothing to do with the colonial movement.
Pardon me, but this is absolute and utter nonsense.
The reality is that Russia was just as keen to establish an overseas empire as any other. In fact, the Russian tsars were highly expansionist in their attitudes toward their borderlands. When the Great Powers rushed to carve up Africa, India, China, and southeast Asia between themselves and secure their own imperial projects, the Russians readily joined in with that particular game. They were desperate to create their own colonies, especially in the Far East and around China. This is not a secret – you can find details of their attempts to do so in, for example, Immanuel C. Y. Hsu’s monumental, turgid, yet quite readable The Rise of Modern China.
Russia’s imperial ambitions are not news to the Poles, Finns, or ethnic Ukrainians – the real ones that occupy the centre and west of the country as part of the footprint of the lands that were in fact originally Ukrainian before 1654. The Poles have a hatred of Russians that dates back centuries, and has much to do with Russian behaviour toward them as an expansionist European power all the way back in the 17th Century. The peoples of central Europe, including the Hungarians and Czechs, feel much the same way – their resentments run very deep, and with very good reason.
This imperialist tradition was VERY MUCH continued within the Russian-dominated Soviet Union. The USSR’s behaviour toward its Warsaw Pact “allies” – really, vassals – was very much that of an imperial overlord and coloniser. The Russians deliberately deported tens of thousands of Lithuanians, Estonians, Latvians, Czechs, Poles, and other ethnicities to forced-labour camps in Siberia, and sent in their own people to replace them. That is why there are substantial Russian-speaking populations in what are today the Baltic nations, and why there is such deep hatred of Russians in those countries.
Let us leave aside the fact that those Baltic nations have a very uncomfortable history of their own – Lithuania, for instance, exterminated more Jews, as a percentage of its population, than any other European nation did. Those Baltic states have never truly come to terms with their past as Nazi collaborators and enablers – and they have overcompensated in the other direction, by persecuting and daemonising the very same Russians that first liberated them from Nazi rule, and then conquered and colonised them.
The point here is that history is substantially more complex than the Neo-Tsar lets on in his speech. The history of his own country is one of brutal occupation and colonisation of its own periphery. Nor is it the case that Russia was purely the aggrieved party when Europe invaded – the Nazi invasion in 1941 was not unprovoked, as increasingly large amounts of historical evidence are showing us in support of the Suvorov Thesis that Hitler invaded the USSR in a desperate preemptive bid to prevent a Soviet invasion of Europe.
If You Don’t Work, You Die
At the same time, the West has clearly been engaged in wishful thinking for a long time. In launching the sanctions blitzkrieg against Russia, for example, they thought that they could once again line up the whole world at their command. As it turns out, however, such a bright prospect does not excite everyone – other than complete political masochists and admirers of other unconventional forms of international relations. Most states refuse to ”snap a salute“ and instead choose the sensible path of cooperation with Russia.
The West clearly did not expect such insubordination. They simply got used to acting according to a template, to grab whatever they please, by blackmail, bribery, intimidation, and convinced themselves that these methods would work forever, as if they had fossilised in the past.
Such self-confidence is a direct product not only of the notorious concept of exceptionalism – although it never ceases to amaze – but also of the real ”information hunger“ in the West. The truth has been drowned in an ocean of myths, illusions and fakes, using extremely aggressive propaganda, lying like Goebbels. The more unbelievable the lie, the quicker people will believe it – that is how they operate, according to this principle.
But people cannot be fed with printed dollars and euros. You can’t feed them with those pieces of paper, and the virtual, inflated capitalisation of western social media companies can’t heat their homes. Everything I am saying is important. And what I just said is no less so: you can’t feed anyone with paper – you need food; and you can’t heat anyone’s home with these inflated capitalisations – you need energy.
The Neo-Tsar did get back on track shortly thereafter, however. His comments about the Empire of Lies and its insistence on printing money, instead of actually producing anything, are absolutely correct. The Empire lies to itself, and to everyone else, about its wealth and power and prosperity. Those of us who can see through such things, are no longer deceived or impressed, but for the most part, the subjects of the Evil Empire still believe that they have the greatest, most powerful, and most wealthy civilisation in the world.
One only needs to walk the streets of America’s biggest cities to understand what a lie that is. One only needs to observe the decaying infrastructure and increasing frequency of paralysing strike actions in PommieBastardLande to realise that the United Kingdom is now a third-rate power. And it does not take much effort to look at Europe’s rapidly plunging standards of living to see that the continent’s people are in for a winter of hardship and suffering worse than any in living memory.
These are not the signs of a wealthy, prosperous, and confident empire. These are the signs of an empire in the terminal stages of collapse.
Moreover, as I have pointed out several times before, if you actually look at the underlying economic data, you will quickly realise that Western estimates of their own GDP are VASTLY overinflated. You have to strip out a lot of nonsense from those estimates – you have to account for the bloated and extremely parasitic financial sector, the even more parasitic government sector, and the immense debt burdens carried by the Western nations. The debt, in particular, is deeply dangerous to economic growth, because it represents in a very literal sense a borrowing of consumption from future generations to satisfy the wants and needs of the current one.
An economy driven by debt and money-printing is not a healthy one. Russia does not have this problem. Much of the world does not have this problem – though, notably, China is quite a substantial exception, as it too has a very heavily debt-driven economy.
One cannot feed people with printed money. One can only feed people with real goods, real crops, REAL THINGS. The Neo-Tsar is absolutely correct to point this out.
The Wages of Sin is Death
Let’s answer some very simple questions for ourselves. Now I would like to return to what I said and want to address also all citizens of the country – not just the colleagues that are in the hall – but all citizens of Russia: do we want to have here, in our country, in Russia, “parent number one, parent number two and parent number three” (they have completely lost it!) instead of mother and father? Do we want our schools to impose on our children, from their earliest days in school, perversions that lead to degradation and extinction? Do we want to drum into their heads the ideas that certain other genders exist along with women and men and to offer them gender reassignment surgery? Is that what we want for our country and our children? This is all unacceptable to us. We have a different future of our own.
Let me repeat that the dictatorship of the Western elites targets all societies, including the citizens of Western countries themselves. This is a challenge to all. This complete renunciation of what it means to be human, the overthrow of faith and traditional values, and the suppression of freedom are coming to resemble a “religion in reverse” – pure Satanism. Exposing false messiahs, Jesus Christ said in the Sermon on the Mount: “By their fruits ye shall know them.” These poisonous fruits are already obvious to people, and not only in our country but also in all countries, including many people in the West itself.
The Neo-Tsar really kicked things into high gear with this specific portion of his speech. When I heard him say this, I cheered, because he is perhaps the only world leader of note in recent days who has come straight out and called the Satanic Empire of Lies exactly what it is.
He literally called their lies “Satanic”. He invoked His Hugeness when talking about them. And he pointed out that the Empire of Lies is in fact opposing the word and law of God Himself.
You can argue all you like that the Neo-Tsar is himself a deeply flawed and sinful man. I will not disagree with you. He surely is. That does not change the fact that he and his country are fighting the good fight.
Can there be any doubt at this point that God’s judgement is upon the collective West? The peoples of the Empire of Lies have turned their backs upon Him – so He has returned the favour.
There are plenty of “Christians” who will argue that one must never use violence to settle disputes. I will simply point to the ENTIRE Old Testament and state that God has repeatedly and routinely used deeply flawed and broken men to bring terrible judgement upon the sins of Man. Never once has His wrath been anything other than completely and totally justified.
Yet God’s mercy is boundless, His compassion infinite. God can be reasoned with, because He IS Reason itself. He is the living embodiment of Truth and Justice. When righteous men come before Him – as Abraham did, interceding on Sodom’s behalf – to plead their cases to spare sinners, the Almighty listens. He spares the righteous and the just, as He smites and punishes the wicked and the sinful.
Can there be any doubt in a Christian’s heart that God is using the broken tools that are the Russian people to implement judgement upon a stiff-necked and foolish empire, that has so thoroughly displeased Him and scorned His word?
Remember, my friends, there is a time for us as Christians to forgive and love our neighbour – and then there is a time to pick up a sword and shield and kick Satan’s poxy arse.
Conclusion – A Speech for the Ages
Today, we are fighting so that it would never occur to anyone that Russia, our people, our language, or our culture can be erased from history. Today, we need a consolidated society, and this consolidation can only be based on sovereignty, freedom, creation, and justice. Our values are humanity, mercy and compassion.
And I want to close with the words of a true patriot Ivan Ilyin: “If I consider Russia my Motherland, that means that I love as a Russian, contemplate and think, sing and speak as a Russian; that I believe in the spiritual strength of the Russian people. Its spirit is my spirit; its destiny is my destiny; its suffering is my grief; and its prosperity is my joy.”
Behind these words stands a glorious spiritual choice, which, for more than a thousand years of Russian statehood, was followed by many generations of our ancestors. Today, we are making this choice; the citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the residents of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions have made this choice. They made the choice to be with their people, to be with their Motherland, to share in its destiny, and to be victorious together with it.
This speech is a watershed moment, for Russia and for the world. It is no exaggeration to state that the Neo-Tsar not only changed the rules of the game when he worked to bring these new territories into Russia – he changed the game itself. No longer is Russia fighting a limited, low-grade conflict with strict rules of engagement and an oversized expeditionary force. From October 5th onwards, when these new territories officially actually become a part of the Motherland, Russians will be fighting to defend their very own soil.
Anyone who knows anything about Russian military history will immediately understand the significance of this fact.
Russians fight like daemons on an average day. That is why, despite overwhelming numerical superiority, the Ukrainians have never actually managed to mount a substantial offensive that truly destroyed Russian combat capabilities. They have certainly managed to retake villages and settlements in Kharkov, and they have certainly captured Krasniy Liman and Izyum in the Donbass area. But they only managed to do so with upwards of 10-to-1 superiority in manpower. They were held off mostly by irregulars, reservists, and LDNR militias. These were hardly the best-quality troops that the Russians have to offer.
When the Ukrainians fought against real Russian regular forces, by contrast, they always – EVERY SINGLE TIME – lost, horribly.
The game has changed, and the Neo-Tsar is the architect of that change. He has added enormous riches to Russia’s already immense hoard of them, and he has ensured that the Russian state will once again be a respected power that charts its own course in the world.
I maintain my opinion that he will one day be mentioned in the same breath as Peter the Great, Catherine the Great, and his namesake, Prince Vladimir, the man who brought Christianity to Russia. He will one day be remembered as perhaps the greatest leader that Russia ever had – unless he does something really stupid, which cannot be ruled out, of course. But even the greatest of Russian leaders made a hash of things from time to time – the Russian people are willing to forgive this.
They recognise that Putin is the man who gave Russia back her sense of self, her pride and her strength, and who told the world in no uncertain terms that Russia will never bow to any other power. He is the man who took a humiliated and beaten former empire, and turned it back into a strong and proud nation.
He is not a man to be trifled with. And his speech shows us exactly why he is likely to win the war against the Empire of Lies – because, for the most part, he tells the truth and backs it up with fire and steel.
