“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Friday T&A: Jingle Bells Edition

There are only 4 more days to go until Christmas, and I am definitely getting into the spirit of the day. Here in [redacted], it’s bloody cold, snowing constantly, and grey – and if I look out the window past the metro line and the concrete and glass buildings, I can see a forest off in the distance with tall pine trees dusted with snow and frost.

It’s quite a beautiful sight, and it reminds me of the fact that white Europeans understand, probably better than anyone else these days, how Christmas should be done. Maybe it’s my own personal bias speaking, since I’ve spent almost my entire life in Western culture, but to me, Christmas just doesn’t sound right without pine trees and snow.

This is how Christmas should be done – with lots of festive cheer, in beautiful natural surroundings, with the people that you love.

And never, ever forget the reason why we celebrate this most special of days.

Christmas is not just about gift-giving, family, and eating and drinking way too much. That, after all, is what Thanksgiving is for.

In fact, Christmas is a triumphal celebration. And Christmas carols, as cheesy as they might sound, are victory songs.

The victory in question is over the single greatest problem faced by Mankind: the existence of evil. Only the Christian ethos, out of all of the many philosophies and religions that Mankind has invented and created and followed, both explains the existence of evil, and solves it.

And that solution comes to us in the form of the King of Kings, the Living God made flesh, Jesus Christ Himself.

Christmas is the celebration of Christ’s birth. Christ triumphed over evil and smashed down the Gates of Hell when He rose from the dead. Therefore, Christmas is a celebration of the victory that He represents over the Prince of this world, the Lord of Lies and father of evil, who lives in the hearts of all men.

I write all of this not to lecture you or preach to you. I write this to remind you very simply of the true reason for joy on Christmas Day. For all that is wrong with the world, for all the harm that we continue to do to each other, there is still much to celebrate. Evil cannot last against the Way, the Light and the Life.

And with that said, let us turn to lighter topics – such as looking at hot girls on a Friday, which is a tradition that stands still for no man. Since I am very much a traditionalist, it falls upon me to go and find a bevy of beautiful girls in Santa costumes for my Loyal Readers.

I’ve even dug up a couple of throwbacks from Instagram to previously featured ladies – see if you can spot them down below.

Honestly, the things I do for you lot…

So happy Friday, my friends. Enjoy the weekend and prepare for the festivities ahead. And remember always that no matter how bad things seem now, there is always hope – as we will be reminded once again in just a few days.
