“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Happy Thanksgiving

Yeah, I’m a BIG fan of Blue Bloods

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, my friends. We of the Hard Right have a whole lot to be thankful for this year, perhaps even more than we did last year with the victory of the God-Emperor. Even though things seem dark and terrible from time to time, and even though the tide of filth that has engulfed Hollywood and the Big Media establishment and Washington, D.C., continues to sweep forward, there is still light and hope out there for us.

Spend time with your families today. Eat way too much, drink more than is perhaps sensible, watch what you Americans call “football”, and generally have a great time. But remember while you are doing these things to give thanks for all that you have been given, by the grace and power of the Almighty.

You know, I often heard the phrase, “He works in mysterious ways”, when I was growing up, and it always severely annoyed me. After all, how could any just and benevolent God possibly want to keep His justice and mercy hidden from His children? It just didn’t make sense to me at the time, which is one of the reasons why I became an atheist.

It took a while for me to correct that particularly stupid mistake, but I am very glad that I did. And it is only now, finally, many years later, after going through some rather painful life experiences and discovering through them the catalyst that brought me back to the Father, that I realise the truth of the statement, as trite as it can seem sometimes.

That, of course, is the nature of Truth. It is rarely comfortable or easy to live with, but it is worth seeking out.

And the truth is that we all, each and every one of us, have a lot to be thankful for.

While I’m at it- thank you. Thanks for reading, for commenting, for your various emails and links and references on Gab, and for keeping me honest and motivated to write. This pokey little blog of mine has proven to be both a great way to hone my thoughts, and an introduction to new ideas and new friends. I hope to continue doing this for a long time to come yet.

Enjoy the day, and may God bless you all.

God does not work in mysterious ways… his ways are very obvious and clear to anyone who understands the message that god allows his creature the freedom to choose. The world is a very random place, but if you actually examine human survival during 'random' disasters, Humans again and again defy the odds and spit in the face of statistical probability… If that is not evidence of God at work, then what is?
The worst of all tragedies, where the odds cannot be fought, are due to the actions of humans… where God's influence would be interfering with Human free will.

God allows his creatures free will, and does not break his word. Satan Cheats. God allows this because even Satan has the freedom to choose.

I believe in Hell, but I think that hell is a place you choose to be because you cannot bear the touch of the lord, knowing that you willfully chose evil. I believe that Salvation is possible through Christ, even to those who died in sin, if only they can repent. Overweening pride is the greatest of all sins from which all other sins flow.

Even Satan can be saved, if he can but humble himself.

For this, I will be thankful.
