The picture you see at the top there is of a headline that appears in the Russian version of what appears to be a Ukrainian-language media site. It says, “In Kharkov they expand the Alley of Glory on the graveyard – there is not enough space for burial”. That is a literal translation, but you get the idea.
This picture sums up the horror of 404 – Country Not Found, exactly four years after the Neo-Tsar sent Russian troops into Ukraine to conduct the Special Military Operation.
I wrote a long piece over the weekend on the nature and course of the SMO, and I will do my best not to be overly repetitive here, since I have covered many of the same points. But, given we are now looking at the fifth year of the war, it is worth unpacking some of the “root causes”, as it were, of the conflict – because it will not be resolved, until those are settled.
For four long years now, the Western establishment, through the whore-media mouthpieces, has done its level best to convince us all that Russia was the aggressor, and launched a war of choice against poor helpless Ukraine as the victim. Nothing could be further from the truth. Any halfway objective analysis of the situation will tell you that, from the very moment of its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991, Ukraine became essentially an anti-Russian project.
Indeed, “Ukraine”, as it was back then, all the way up until 2014, was effectively an artificial construct. The country was a Frankenstein’s Monster of different bits, all stitched together by the godless Communists under Lenin and then Stalin, specifically for the purpose of making the region easier to administer.
It was Lenin, after all, who gave large tracts of what was once the Bessarabian part of the old Russian Empire, to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. These were core Russian-speaking lands, which occupied the footprints of what are today the Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozh’ye, and Kherson regions – and also Nikolayev, Krivoy Rog, and Odessa regions as well.
It was Stalin who incorporated some of what used to be Polish territory in what is today Galicia, into the Ukrainian SSR.
A late-night drinking contest between Krushchyov – who grew up in what is today Donbass, and whose parents were, apparently, natives of what is today Donetsk – gave the Crimea Peninsula by a ukase (general order, so to speak) of the Commissariat to the Ukrainian SSR. Crimea, it bears repeating, was NEVER part of ANY historical nation called “Ukraine” – it had been Russian since the late 17th Century after Empress Catherine the Great conquered it from the Tatar Khanate, a remnant of the old Golden Horde.
After the USSR violently annexed Hungary and the old Czechoslovakia, certain lands from both of those countries, along with a few bits and pieces Romania in the postwar settlement, went to the Ukrainian SSR too.
Modern-day “Ukraine” is a fictional state. Ukrainians hate it when you tell them that – especially out west, where they are ethnically and linguistically quite different and distinct from the Russian speakers in the south, east, and to some extent north.
Moreover, Ukraine from the beginning of its time as a new state set itself directly against Russia. The USSR left Ukraine with a truly priceless industrial base. By the time of its independence, it had a level of industrial power and sophistication comparable to France at the time. If you look at per-capita GDP or population statistics, Ukraine had roughly one-third of the population, and about the same in terms of national wealth per head, as Russia did in 1991. By 2022, it took 6.5 Ukraines or so to make one Russia in terms of population, and even more in terms of GDP per capita. The collapse of Ukraine due to corruption, leading to deindustrialisation and the reversion of its entire society to basically an agrarian and resource economy, stands perhaps without parallel in recent human history. I cannot think of another similar example that did NOT happen after a war or natural disaster off the top of my head.
This fractured national identity, combined with the endemic corruption that essentially defines Ukraine, made it easy prey for the rapacious Western elites. In 2004, the first of the “Colour Revolutions” took place in Ukraine, and revealed fundamental differences in political leanings and worldviews between the Russian-speaking and Ukrainian-speaking parts of this Frankenstein’s Monster.
There was still sufficient national cohesion, even back then, to permit Ukraine to survive, in a way. It took another 10 years for the true crisis to hit. In late 2013, Ukraine reached a trade agreement with the EU, which lowered tariff barriers and import restrictions across Ukraine, allowing European goods easy access into the Ukrainian market. The problem was that Ukraine also had a standing free-trade agreement with Russia.
The Russians, quite reasonably, did not want European goods flooding across their borders with zero checks and no tariffs or protections for Russian farmers. After all, they had just spent the past 15 years painstakingly rebuilding their agricultural sector, transforming Russia from the core state of a superpower that could not feed itself back in the bad old days of the USSR, to a country that had more than enough food for itself, and could then export the excess globally. This was a miracle in and of itself – the Russians were determined not to waste it.
So they asked the Ukrainians to revise the agreement, and offered a sweetener in the form of preferential trade deals and investments. When the Yanukovych government went back to the EU and asked for the necessary revisions, though, the Euzis, with characteristic arrogance and blind stupidity, said they would not countenance changes to so much as a single punctuation mark in the draft treaty.
It was at that point that the Ameribros, under Odumbass the Lightworker, decided the time was right to overthrow the Ukrainian government, which they viewed as an impediment to their plans to damage and destroy Russia. That is where Victoria “Cookies” Nuland – basically, Satan’s right hand on Earth – came in, ploughing over US$5 BILLION into various NGOs and CIA fronts to foment unrest and rebellion.
The result was the Euromaidan coup, and the ascension to power of the worst kinds of neo-Nazi elements imaginable.
These are the direct genetic and intellectual descendants of the followers of Stepan Bandera – a particularly nasty and vicious ultranationalist who collaborated directly with the Nazis. The Ukrainians who followed him, committed some of the most vile atrocities imaginable – so awful that even the Waffen SS troops who witnessed the horrors, were utterly sickened by them. Their modern-day equivalents are no less virulent in their hatred of Russians – and of anyone else who is not of ethnically “pure” Ukrainian stock.
By 2014, the transformation of Ukraine into a true monster was complete. And America, with no small amount of help from the likes of the Rothschilds, the Soros foundations, and God only knows what other (((Small Hat))) influencers, was behind it all.
The rest, as we know, is history. The Russian-speaking parts of Ukraine refused to go along with the openly racial-supremacist government in Kiev, and tried to break away. The Ukrainian civil war started in Slavyansk, in the Donetsk region, and rapidly spread to Lugansk and the south. The Maidan government in Kiev brutally and ruthlessly stamped out any attempts to break away in Odessa – hence the infamous and awful Trade Union House Massacre, in which roughly 50 people died, many of them burned alive, when ultranationalists set fire to that location.
But in the east, formerly “Ukrainian” soldiers turned their coats and went to war against a government that no longer represented them.
It is important to note that Russia, for all that it is accused of starting the war and sustaining it, actually did very little to help. As Col. Jacques Baud pointed out in his magnum opus, The Russian Art of War – using, it must be noted, ONLY Western and Ukrainian sources – the Russian military did not, in fact, take over Crimea. Nor did it intervene in Donbass, on anything like a systematic level. Individual Russian soldiers absolutely did make their way to the Donbass militias as advisors. But wide-scale support with equipment and weapons was not Russian government policy.
Indeed, for eight long years, the Russian government under President Putin tried desperately to find a way to settle the issues peacefully, through negotiation and compromise. Russian policy, right up to the day the SMO kicked off, was to keep Ukraine intact, except for Crimea.
As I pointed out in my writing over the weekend, the prospect of a united Ukraine is no longer on the table. Ukrainian stupidity and intransigence has ensured this. Today, Ukraine has no choice but to go on fighting to literally the last Ukrainian, because its options range from bad, to worse, to catastrophic, unless it somehow finds a way to exact so high a price from Russia, that the latter stops fighting.
I tell you now that there is NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER of this happening.
The Russian people have paid too high a price for this war to stop at anything less than total victory. That is not my opinion, by the way. It is the opinion of the common man on the street in Russia. I have seen and heard and read it repeatedly, during my visits to Russia, through reading Russian-language media, and by listening to Russian and sensible Western commentators.
Indeed, the single thing the Russians fear the most, is not defeat – they know in their hearts and minds that this is not possible, not when Russia is literally outproducing all of NATO on almost every level at a rate of 4:1. No, they fear that the Kremlin will agree to a half-arsed compromise that leaves Russia well short of its original goals.
In this, they have some justification. Despite Western efforts to portray him as some sort of bloodthirsty totalitarian lunatic, in Russia he is actually viewed as something of a soft and squishy moderate, especially nowadays. Ordinary Russians love and respect him for his immense accomplishments and his iron-willed leadership – but they fear his pro-Western tendencies, and his frankly baffling (from their perspective) willingness to engage with the West.
Ordinary Russians hold the West in the deepest contempt by now. I know this personally. Several of my contacts in Russia have spent substantial time in the West. They are universally shocked and horrified by the degeneracy, stupidity, racism, and bigotry toward Russians that they now see – especially when Russia is quite welcoming to Europeans and Americans, and treats them exceptionally well.
From the Russian perspective, the only acceptable outcome, is the total defeat of Ukraine. That means doing whatever it takes to liberate the four regions. Indeed, a great many Russians are asking themselves why the hell the MFIC doesn’t just order the Russian Army on a grand offensive to smash through whatever is left of the Ukrainian defences in Donbass, and then sweep the shattered remnants across the Dnieper.
The answer to that, of course, is that the Kremlin – but, notably, NOT the Russian General Staff, as far as I can tell – does not want to incur the kinds of casualties such activities would entail. The Russian Army, on the other hand, seems like it is itching to go, and is getting increasingly frustrated with the Neo-Tsar’s perceived “dithering”.
I personally am of the opinion that the Kremlin actually does have a clue, and its inhuman restraint in the face of relentless and insane Western provocations does have limits. In my view, we are getting very close to the “Finding Out” stage of the West’s FAFO game.
Already you can see the signs of Ukraine’s pending collapse. Multiple commentators, including Alexander Mercouris and Gordon Hahn, have pointed out that the situation in Ukraine itself appears to be boiling over. There is very little power left. The working-age population has largely fled, or been consumed in the war – leaving Ukraine a land of pensioners, widows, and orphans. This is not a country that can sustain an economy of any kind.
It is now a graveyard nation, with cemeteries overflowing from the hundreds of thousands – the MILLIONS – of dead.
And now there appears to be significant infighting between the elites in Ukraine, with factions emerging supporting either Bellendsky the Crackhead Narcofuehrer, or Zaluzhnyi the Potato-Head. Neither is a good or capable leader – the former is a crack-addicted Jew whose native language is actually Russian and who is more corrupt than any Ukrainian oligarch, and the latter is a Ukrainian-speaking neo-Nazi to his core, whose incompetence as a general has gotten hundreds of thousands of men killed.
Whatever happens with the political situation in 404, the reality is that Ukraine cannot survive much longer. I do not know exactly when it will all collapse – my track record on predictions in the 404 War is woeful, starting with the fact that I got the start of the SMO completely wrong. I thought there would be no invasion, and was completely and comprehensively wrong.
But I can analyse the mathematics of the trends on the front lines easily enough. It is clear that Ukraine does not have the manpower to hold out much longer. Once the Russians clear the last major strongholds in Donbass, and once they then take Zaporozh’ye City itself, Ukraine effectively ceases to be a viable economic entity, and the Russians have a clear shot across the Dniepr and over land into the southwest.
We are already seeing noises from the Russian General Staff – and from no less a person than CHADrov himself – that they now consider “Novorossiya” to encompass the south of Ukraine, all the way to Odessa. That, to me, looks like the ultimate victory condition for Russia, where the Russian Army marches all the way across the Dnieper and liberates its ancient historical lands, right to the Romanian-Moldovan-Hungarian borders.
It is at that point that the Frankenstein’s Monster known as Ukraine will simply cease to matter or exist. Whatever will be left, it will be a rump state with no sea access, no life, no people, and no hope.
This is the Doom of Banderastan. It could have been avoided. There were many opportunities to do so. But the West decided to interfere in Russia’s backyard, and they got Ukraine to commit, essentially, “suicide by cop” – or, in this case, suicide by Russian Army.
The West never seems to learn that going to war with Russia always – ALWAYS – ends badly. (Unless your name is Subutai Khan, but that’s another story.)

Heavenly Jerusalem is the nutty oligarch plan for Southern Ukraine.
To the last Ukrainian is a feature to them.
