Here we go again. Monday is back, after an all-too-short weekend. In my case, I spent it quite happily blasting apart things on HALO Infinite – which genuinely is the best game in the series since H3. But one can only do that for so long before one needs to sleep and rest, and in my case, I got so spun up having fun, that I rather failed to have enough sleep (at least, on Saturday). Oh well.
However, all good things come to an end, so we are now confronted by yet another Monday. That is why, of course, the Great Mondaydact Browser Mower exists, to make the day pass by a bit faster.
This week, let us kick things off with the greatest muscle cars ever made:
One other thing – this week, to save on time, I am not going to bother providing segments or descriptions before the videos below. I will simply let the titles of the videos speak for themselves, within individual sections. I might just stick to that practice in future, as putting these things together every week, requires a MINIMUM of three hours of concentrated effort. Quite often, I simply run out of time, or I have to start doing these late on a Monday.
So, for now, pull up a chair, and enjoy the show.

Absolutely phenomenal, must-watch interview. You will learn more about economics from that one discussion, than you will from an entire year spent in a university course.

Your Science is F***ing Weird moment of the week is from The Male Brain, and looks at how God’s process of Creation seemingly defies, in some ways, the very Laws of Physics He wrote for the Universe:
Odd elastohydrodynamics nudges physics to widen its scope. Whenever local engines pump energy into soft matter – whether in muscle fibers, developing embryos, or swarms of bacterial flagella – equal-and-opposite can give way to rich new patterns.
Measuring odd-elastic moduli across systems may reveal common threads that tie together biology’s many moving parts.
For now, Ishimoto, Moreau, and Yasuda have carved out a clear path from curious microscope videos to a mathematical toolkit and, eventually, to devices that mimic sperm and their flagellum – life’s tiniest swimmers.
By mapping how flagella bend the rules, they show that nature’s solutions to sticky problems can inspire technology that glides just as smoothly through the thickest of soups.
Linkage is good for you:
- Maksim Semyonov shows the harrowing truth of how Ukrainian conscription officers grab people off the streets and throw them into meat-wagons;
- Timofey Bordachyev unpacks the real reasons why the Euzis simply cannot figure out how to make peace properly;
- Ladislav Zemánek unpacks the ways in which the Euzis also keep losing to the Chinese;
- Timur Tarkhanov blames Moldova’s particularly incompetent and nasty female President, who wastes time on LGBTQWTFISTHISSHIT nonsense while her country fails;
- Farhad Ibragimov thinks Iran is out to build an anti-NATO coalition, and he is probably right;
- Robert Bridge salutes Tulsi Gabbard for being willing to take a sledgehammer to the Odumbass Maladministration’s edifice of lies around Russiagate;
- Rachel Marsden exposes the absolute state of ADOLT EDJOOMUHCAYSHUN in the dying West;
- The great John C. Wright pens an unusually brief (by his standards) and brilliant exposition of how Gnosticism birthed Socialism;
- On the plus side (sort of), the Euzis have finally moved into the digital age with their insufferably stupid Schengen visa application process;
- Windows 10 was probably the second best version of WinDOZE ever – which is not really a very high bar to set, to be honest;
- With the 80th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima fast approaching, it is worth looking in detail at the horrors of that particularly awful day;
- Shrillennials have found a new way to be elitist and irritating, this time with a Pilates club somewhere in NYFC;
- Staying married is hard, but very much worth it for those who put in the work;
And some more from Dawn Pine:
- If you want to get up to 4 years of free wine, sign up for a science experiment, and the boffins will pay for you to get sloshed;
- One here about insider trading done by a brother and sister;
- The Sydney Sweeney affair proves the old reductio ad Hitlerum adage – everything that offends woketards is literally Nazi;
- Your latest superbug scare is all Drumpf’s fault, of course, because he cut foreign aid;
- The days when Lockheed’s top-secret programmes returned significant profits to the company are evidently very long over;
- The luckiest toddler in the world is the subject of a “dog that died” sort of moment – but this time involving a king cobra;
- His Hugeness teaches us to be meek and turn the other cheek, but sometimes, even a bishop will reach his limit with the off-key yowlings of his congregation;
- A trader got pissed after he didn’t get a bonus, even though he literally made the company’s money for it;
- Meta appears to be willing to pay absolutely insane amounts of money to AI development talent, and that talent is noticing – and running away;
- Here’s a tip, guys – if you need to propose to a girl FORTY THREE times before she says “yes”, she might not be “The One”;
And a few more from LRFotS Randale6:
- The Israeli government’s claims to the contrary notwithstanding, Christians are NOT, in fact, safe in the Holy Land;
- One here about traditional Jewish ethics – which, I should clarify, is about Rabbinic, not Mosaic, Judaism;
- Finally, we have a fun place in Reddit for proper Chad shitposting;
- Here’s a big-ass collection of righteous memes from his own Substack, as well;

Finally, let us get to your Instathots for the start of the week. First up, Yuliya Yefimova (Юлия Ефимова), age 33 from Grozny, Chechnya (yes, really), who is a championship-level swimmer.
And second, some half-French, half-Vietnamese girl named Anna, who is also probably 30% plastic, and might be a carrier of the Dien Bien Phlu. Jus’ sayin’.
