I had meant to get around to this yesterday – we really should probably start calling this the “Saturday T&A” or “Weekend Totty” section, honestly – but events intervened. Specifically. there appears to be an armed mutiny underway, right now, instigated by none other than Yevgeniy Prigozhin, the titular head of the Wagner PMC, in Russia.
Details are sketchy and things seem to be moving fairly quickly. I intend to do a follow-up post dedicated just to this issue shortly, but insofar as I can tell, at present, elements of the Wagner PMC – not nearly all of them, and indeed only a small force – have occupied the centre of Rostov-on-Don, and surrounded a number of key government buildings in that city. Prigozhin has demanded that Shoigu and Gerasimov, the Minster of Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, respectively, come to him for a meeting.
This was, frankly, a boneheaded move on Prigozhin’s part to begin with. But he made things FAR worse when, after the Neo-Tsar addressed the entire nation in a televised address, he essentially refused to obey the lawful orders of the Supreme Commander in Chief.
Telegram has been lighting up all day with reports coming in about what Wagner is, and is not, doing. All I can say is, this is nothing short of a CATASTROPHE, at least in the short-term, for the Russian government.
I expect this mutiny – it is not, to my mind, actually a coup, not yet – will blow itself out within a few days. But the harm done will be immense.
Again, I will go into that later. But, for now, the war between the GloboHomoPaedoPharisatanists that dominate the collective West, and the rest of humanity, is reaching a new and extremely dangerous crescendo. The Banderastan Project is failing and collapsing. Russia is winning, BIGLY, in the meatgrinder of the southern front, chewing up vast reserves of Ukrainian manpower and equipment. The Russian economy is firing on all cylinders – whereas in late 2022, a prediction of 2% growth in 2023 appeared RIDICULOUSLY optimistic, today, that is precisely what the Russian Central Bank itself expects, and that is almost certainly a conservative figure.
The Russian people have rallied and united behind their country in a way not seen since the Great Patriotic War. They understand the Motherland is in a terrible struggle for her very existence, and they are reacting accordingly.
The West, meanwhile, is falling apart. Crime in the cities is out of control. Public opinion of their politicians is in the toilet, and the sheeple are beginning to understand, however belatedly, that voting IS NOT going to fix the mess they themselves created – because dumbocracy, by design, has no interest whatsoever in giving the actual people a voice. It has always been thus.
We are rapidly approaching the point where the Western Empire of Lies will collapse, and all of the evil within it will come flooding out. Now, it appears the Empire has struck back, hard, at the single biggest obstacle stopping it from exercising total control over the world – and that is Russia.
Things will happen as they happen. I expect this insane insurrection attempt to blow itself out in a few days – the forces involved seem far too small, and far too fragmented, to mount a real and serious resistance to the Russian military and people, who are united behind their President. But this is a serious disaster that invites further Western escalation – and that is precisely what we will get.
Unless cooler heads prevail, soon, we will all face the horrible reality of nuclear Armageddon within months – because, when the West realises just how badly Ukraine is losing, the nuclear option will be the last and only step remaining for them to take against Russia, which will by late September be advancing again across Banderastan.
These are scary times indeed. Let us hope and pray the Big Fella Upstairs has a real plan in place.
And that’s about enough of that for the moment. Since it is the weekend, let us get to the real reason you are all here.
This is Valeriya Sergeevna (Валерия Сергеевна), of indeterminate age but probably in her early twenties, from somewhere in Russia. No idea what she does beyond that, nor do I particularly care. At least she isn’t creepily artificial. She does, however, have rather a lot to do with the title of this post – because, if you go to her Instaham page, you will see that she has a real penchant for posing on one leg, rather like a flamingo.
Let us hope she is more pleasant to be around than said bird, though. If you have ever been to a zoo and been anywhere near the flamingos, you will realise very quickly that their enclosures absolutely STINK.
Oh, and that pink colour common to flamingos? It isn’t actually natural to them. It comes from the carapaces of the shellfish they eat, by scraping them out of the mud of their native estuaries with those giant curved beaks of theirs.

a – most wild animals are fairly rank. for scavengers and carrion eaters this is nearly universally true. but nothing that spends all day wallowing in the mud ( and for flamingos, pissing down their own legs ) has a snowballs chance of smelling sweet and pleasant.
