Back when I was living Stateside, in a part of the East Coast with a fairly substantial Hispanic population (in the Heights area, not downtown where I was), May the 5th was always this weird celebration of… something. I never managed to figure out what it was all about until, quite literally, today.
Apparently, it is NOT actually a celebration of Mexican independence, or a victory over the hated gringos del Norte. (The Mexicans hate Americans when it is convenient, yet hanker after their dollars and cannot seem to establish a functional country of their own. One of life’s great ironies, really.) It is, in fact, a celebration of the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
Personally, I cannot quite see what all the fuss is about – the last time anyone in America saw enough Mexicans to make any sort of difference to the outcome of very much of anything was at the Alamo. (Which I’ve visited twice. I picked up that joke, bad as it is, from a John Ringo novel.) But, this day was always a big deal in that part of the world where I lived.
May 5th in 2023, however, has taken on an entirely different meaning.
The night before, a pair of Ukrainian drones crashed in Moscow. One of them actually smashed into the roof of the Senate building within the grounds of the Kremlin. (I’ve been there MANY times – I know the area well, it is beautiful.) The Russian government kept quiet about it for 10 hours, clearly not wanting to provoke any sort of hyper-aggressive reaction. But, when the footage emerged, showing the strike…
Well, I can charitably describe the mood of ordinary Russians as “somewhere between ‘burn Ukraine to the ground’ and ‘nuke Washington'”.
The Russian political leadership – specifically, the Neo-Tsar – has been backed into a corner by Bellendsky and the Banderites in Queef. Actually, those assclowns are mere patsies – the USSA and the neoclowns truly control Banderastan. The Neo-Tsar has tried VERY HARD to keep this war contained to Ukraine, and has shown staggering levels of personal restraint and patience in the face of wanton Western provocations. It has gotten to the point now where even the Russian people are, to some extent, losing patience with him.
Do not misunderstand me. I am not for a moment suggesting Putin is in the least danger of overthrow. He is not. The Russian people fully understand just how competent and capable he is, and they support him to a level that is unthinkable for any Western leader – Putin enjoys a nearly 80% approval rating.
I am saying that political pressure is building on Putin, from his own people, to take a harder line on the West and on the Banderites. Soon, his ability to delay the inevitable, extremely brutal, Russian reaction will disappear.
People really need to get it through their heads that Putin is the moderate in his government. His inner circle is full of hardliners who, with COMPLETE justification, see the Western leaders as traitors, scumbags, milquetoasts, liars, and homosexuals.
The likes of Medvedev and Patrushev regard Western leaders as utter buffoons, totally untrustworthy ruffians with whom Russia cannot and must not negotiate. They want to see Russia smash through all of Banderastan, all the way to the Polish border, and burn Bellendsky and the neo-Nazi lunatics around him at the stake. (I paraphrase MINUTELY.)
Putin, by contrast, knows and understands that Russian occupation of Banderastan will be an immense drain upon the domestic economy. He knows full well that most of Ukraine, west of the Dnieper, is full of ethnic Ukrainians, who have long been brainwashed into hating the “Moskals”. He does not want to waste Russian lives and treasure on a pointless and endless “forever war”, trying to turn the Shitholistan that is western Ukraine into something resembling modern Russia – clean, efficient, well-maintained, educated, resource-rich, industrialised, with in many cases superb infrastructure.
(I am not saying Russia has zero problems – it assuredly has a great many – but anyone honest and open-minded who visits Russia will be shocked at just how modern, safe, and clean it is, especially when compared to many American cities.)
But he may no longer be able to avoid this outcome. The Russian people just witnessed an (unsuccessful and spectacularly stupid) attack on the very centre of their civilisation, their culture. And they will not stand for it.
If winning this war means burning Queef to the ground – the Mother City, the very home of the Киевская Рус’, the original civilisation that spawned Russia itself – then I suspect the Russians will now support that idea.
And if that means all of Banderastan itself must burn, along with every last NATO soldier and CIA spook… well, they will just see that as collateral damage.
Does the West understand what it has unleashed now? Does anyone in Washington, London, Paris, Brussels, and Berlin truly comprehend what they have done?
To ask those questions is to answer them. Neoclowns and neoliberals have absolutely no sense of self-awareness or history, and have zero understanding of the principle of causality. (Put in somewhat less airy and pontifical terms – “f**k around and find out”, or, in Russian, трахайся и узнай.)
Something very big, and very, very terrible, is coming. Too many indicators point to a cataclysm for us to remain ignorant any longer. I think we are well past the point of no return now. All we can do is wait for the inevitable collapse, and hope and pray we will be able to ride it out.
And on that delightful note, let us get to the real reason why you are here.
This week’s closing lady is some bird named Ariana James, age 32 and originally from Bogota. She is an IFBB fitness model, Instagram influenza, and ambassador for a “curvy women’s clothing brand” called Fashion Nova. I have absolutely no clue what any of that means, but she speaks Spanish and posts in the language, so that makes her good enough for the theme. (So I couldn’t be arsed to go looking for an actual Mexicana – so sue me.)
Enjoy the weekend, lads – and, if you are in PommieBastardLande, well, sucks to be you, because you lot are about to install a jug-eared sausage-fingered doofus who firmly believes in “climate change” and scientism upon the British throne.

Cinco de Mayo is an American drinking holiday, just like St. Paddy’s Day has become. Nothing more, nothing less.
Mamacita!
i mean, yeah, she’s spectacular. but that so looks like it would be a Frida Kalo monobrow if she hadn’t had the middle of it lasered.
.
yes, i know, i was just talking about MD Bright eyebrows.
You’d think if they’re gonna be about ‘that life’ they’d go all the way and let corporations literally rent their skin for ad space. (something removable, like henna maybe)
Even the (so-called) ‘conservatives’ that I know simply “Don’t want to Hear It” whenever I try to point out these simple Facts –
Tsar Putin is the Moderate in the Kremlin- and is running out of room to ‘moderate’. How long will it be, before the Speaker of the Duma (House of Representatives) and the President of the Senate push their way into his office and hand him the Declaration of War against all of NATO? And the Speaker will also have the Articles of Impeachment in his back pocket, if the Tsar fails to “Pick up the Red Phone” right then…
FUSSA/NATO does NOT have the Military Capability to Fight Russia, either in a Conventional or Nuclear situation- Look up "Sarmat", "Avangard", "Khintzal", "Poseiden". But they Won't hear of it, believing that the Trillions of $hekel$ they have paid in Taxes to finance a Military that has been Defeated by a Militia of goat-fuckers is still capable of Fighting Russia and 'winning'.
Nobody that I mention to of, the FACT that “the Ukraine” is the Borderlands of Russia, and that the Nation of Russia was Founded in Kiev more than a Thousand Years Ago, has ever heard of that….
And don’t get me started on the “neocons” who think they are in control of things, and that Russia can be Broken Up and Looted (they even have a map!) Even my lazy Horse is Smarter than That…
