A recent story in everyone’s favourite daily large-circulation tabloid caught my eye concerning a young woman from Ukraine who decided to sell her virginity for about US$1.4 MILLION, mostly because it serves as both confirmation and warning of some very painful truths:

A 19-year-old woman has reportedly sold her virginity for £1,026 million (1.2M Euro), after putting it up for sale through a notorious online escort agency.

Ekaterina, who is listed at Katya on Cinderella Escorts, is originally from the city of Kharkiv in north-eastern Ukraine, but currently resides in the United States.

In December the agency revealed she planned to sell her virginity, which was verified by a doctor, for no less than £84,120.

And this week the site appeared to confirm she had sold her virginity to a Munich businessman, 58, who owns various fitness studios throughout Europe, for £1,026 million (1.2M Euro).

Katya, who speaks English and Russian, previously explained that she planned to spend the money on ‘travel, luxury and living life’. 

And new details on the site now read: ‘Final Bid: 1.200.000 Euro.’

The buyer is described as a ‘Businessman from Munich’, while further details show that the second highest bid came from lawyer in New York at 1 million Euro, and the third highest bid from a singer in Tokyo at 800,000 Euro.’

There is a lot to unpack here and a fair few lessons for young men everywhere, so let’s get stuck right into it.

The first thing that jumps out is the blindingly obvious fact that this is a young woman with real potential who is basically prostituting herself for a chance at a good life.

Clearly this is not an ugly girl. She is young, beautiful, and obviously quite intelligent if she speaks both Russian and English, because she lives in the USA – and, given that Ms Ekaterina there is from Kharkiv, in eastern Ukraine, very likely speaks Ukrainian as well. (It is a distinct and very different language from Russian in terms of vocabulary, alphabet, and pronunciation, and its grammatical structure is even more challenging than that of Russian, with seven cases instead of six and a significant overlay of Polish rather than Russian structures).

Furthermore, if you look at the backgrounds of those photos, assuming that her photos were taken in her own apartment (more likely that of her parents), she is from a decent background – which she would likely have to be in order to learn English, by the way.

This is evidently not a poor girl from a tough background trying to make a better life for herself. Her actions would not be any more excusable if she were a young poor girl from a straitened background attempting to make her way in the world – a whore is a whore no matter what her motive – but you could at least sort of understand it.

Now, take a look at what Katya herself had to say about losing her virginity for money to the highest bidder:

Speaking to FEMAIL, Katya admitted the decision to sell her virginity wasn’t an easy one.

She said: ‘I have thought several times about not selling my virginity after all. It’s definitely a tough decision, for the simple reason that it’s irreversible. 

‘But it’s a win-win situation. The choice between losing my virginity to someone I love, and to have lost forever my chance to win the million is hard.

‘However, I think the probability is higher that you will regret not accepting the money, because a future boyfriend will most likely leave you at some point.

It is true that Ms Katya there resides in the US, so you might be forgiven for thinking that such indifference to the reality of selling her body for money is common there. However, in fact attitude that you see there is not uncommon among Eastern European women – especially the ones from the poorer countries in that region.

This is one of the distinctions between Russian and Ukrainian girls. Russian women come from a country with a functional economy where people can at least afford to have a decent living, up to a point anyway. Russia has plenty of problems of its own – I might have to do a podcast to go through them someday – but the country does offer its young women something approaching a future.

Ukraine provides no such stability or hope.

The country is extremely corrupt – far, far more so than even its notoriously corrupt and vastly larger eastern neighbour. Its economy has been in the shitter for years. Its public pension system is broken and provides little more than dirt and grass for its people. Opportunities in Ukraine are few and far between.

Also, in a more general sense, the Ukrainian (and rural Russian) understanding of what it means to be a “housewife” are radically different from what most Westerners understand of the same term.

In the West, especially in the USA, the term, “housewife”, means that the woman stays at home, cooks and cleans, keeps house, makes sure that everything is in order and tidy – but is otherwise free to live as she pleases. She has her own car. She has her own friends. She has every right to come and go as she pleases, subject only to making sure that her husband and children are well cared for. Her husband trusts her to stay loyal and faithful to him, and she trusts her husband to do the same. That is the Western ideal of the housewife.

In Ukraine, the term “housewife” is in many ways indistinguishable from slavery for women. A woman has to do all of the above – AND be available for her husband at all times. In truly traditional communities, she does not leave the house without her husband’s express permission and it is difficult for her to be in public without a male escort.

For these reasons, Ukrainian girls tend to be much more interested in leaving their homeland than Russian girls are. In fact, Russian girls look down upon their Ukrainian sisters and view them with great suspicion. Many a Russian girlfriend or wife has found herself in the position of losing her man to a beautiful and bewitching Ukrainian girl, who then proceeds to fleece said man of his money and abscond the moment that she finds something better.

Make no mistake – Ukrainian women are bewitchingly beautiful. I’m telling you from personal experience that the beauty, grace, refinement, and intelligence of Slavic women are a real drug – once you’re hooked, pretty much nothing else comes close, not even the passionate (and highly combustible) Latinas of Colombia and Brazil. It is only with time and experience that you realise the pricetag that those women come with, and only then can you begin to figure out which ones are worth your time and effort.

The point here is that you should not be surprised that Ukrainian girls, even ones living abroad, tend to have very mercenary attitudes toward money and opportunity – as Ms Katya here evidently does. And remember, she is Ukrainian but living in the USA, which means that her attitude toward selling herself for money is seriously messed up.

If she were living in Ukraine, you could sort of understand it. That is a poor country where a woman earning a salary of $400 a month is considered to be doing really rather well. In the USA, though, where living standards are vastly higher, it is downright disturbing.

Another aspect of this story that I find interesting is the fact that the businessman who paid for Ms Katya’s virginity is from Germany – or at least lives and owns a business there in Munich.

I did not expect that. Typically the kinds of men who pay such astronomical sums for sex with virgins tend to be from the Middle East. I discussed a similar case a few years back, in which a Russian beauty queen from Moscow sold her body to someone in Dubai – for a fraction of the price involved in this latest case, though, which is interesting in and of itself.

The lesson to be learned here concerns the ways in which wealth corrupts the souls of men.

Consider: how much high-quality tail could a man buy for $1.4 million, simply by spending it on high-end escorts? Whatever you think the answer is, the truth is likely far crazier than anything that you can come up with.

It goes without saying that the guys who can afford to spend such mind-boggling amounts on sex with virgins are not spiritually healthy. Such pursuits are not for men who believe in loving and committed relationships with one woman for the rest of their lives.

The point is that for the colossal sums being bandied about for one girl’s virginity, the same men in question could easily just pay hookers in their own cities. Hell, they could spend half that amount of money, go straight to Russia, and find beautiful girls in Moscow and St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod who would make Ms Katya there look like a country bumpkin.

In fact, the easiest way for such men to score any amount of tail that they want is simply to open up an Instagram account and start DMing Instathot “influencers” and offering them money in exchange for sex.

Plenty of such Instathots have been given those offers. Many, far too many, take those offers.

It is easy to get angry at such women for taking the tickets and selling their bodies. This anger is pointless. It is like getting angry at water for being wet. The hard reality is that ALL sex is, at some level, transactional.

Make no mistake: ALL men pay for sex. Always have, always will. Show me the man who claims that you can have effortless, costless sex, and I will show you a charlatan, a fool, and a liar. At bare minimum, the pursuit of sex involves the expenditure of the one commodity that is truly priceless – time. Once you spend it, you don’t get it back. And any man who spends his most vital asset in chasing tail is going to find that, sooner or later, he runs out of currency.

The final point that I want to comment on here concerns, again, the economic background of the women who get involved in this sort of stuff.

Traditionally it was usually poor and desperate women that got involved in prostitution. Indeed that is the stereotype in most countries – only poor girls with no other options choose to sell their bodies and improve their lives that way.

But increasingly the evidence shows us that this is simply not the case. The flood of Instathots and e-thots worldwide is made up not of destitute women, for the most part, but of middle-class girls who see nothing wrong with making money off of male thirst.

The kinds of women who open up accounts at Patreon and OnlyFans and deliver R- and X-rated contents to subscribers who pay them for the privilege, often end up raking in tens of thousands of dollars a month. An attractive woman with a good body can get dressed up as an anime character and make thousands of dollars from thirsty Betas who desperately fantasise about her being their girlfriend or waifu.

It is easy money, and its allure is hard to resist for any girl.

In fact, let that serve as a lesson to you. If you are dating a beautiful girl and she has an Instagram account – pretty much unavoidable in this day and age – and she doesn’t clog up her feed with shots of herself in a bikini for guys to drool over, then you’ve found yourself a girl worth dating.

I speak from personal experience when I tell you that such women have thousands of thirsty orbiters sending them messages and indicators of interest every day, offering to pay them money to fly out to Germany and Australia and the UAE in order to spend time with them. One woman showed me messages from her Facebook account of a man who knew quite well that she had a boyfriend, and offered her a K-1 visa to come to the USA even so, with the clear understanding that she would bear him a child and he would in return pay for her education and lifestyle.

I’ve seen how this shit works in the real world. If you find a girl who can resist its siren call and stay faithful and loyal to you through it all – that’s a keeper.

And if she stays with you through the hard times, through unemployment and uncertainty and instability, then she is probably a strong candidate for wife material – especially if she can cook and clean.

(Yes, feminists, I am a patriarchal asshole, and proud of that fact.)

In the end, the most powerful sentiment that I feel when I see stories like this one, about a woman who sells her body for material security and comfort, is always the same – of great sadness.

These women who take the ticket to fame and fortune always do so only with an eye on the short-term rewards. They NEVER consider the price that they will have to pay in the end. The price for taking that ticket is ALWAYS a woman’s soul.

Take another look at young Ms Katya there. Her eyes are already a bit dead and jaded. Can you imagine what she will look like when she realises that the only value that anyone places upon her is based on her looks and her ability to provide sex?

Never mind that she is bilingual or possibly trilingual. Never mind that she is beautiful as only Slavic girls can be. Never mind that she has interesting stories to tell from growing up in Ukraine’s second largest city – from what I know of Kharkiv, through a woman that I used to know socially, and from my friend Kyle Trouble, it is a genuinely beautiful city with a lot of beautiful women.

Such a woman would, in Russia, be considered a high-quality lady and there would be a LOT of opportunities opened to her – including going overseas to date and marry men who are actually interested in genuine loving long-term relationships and stable marriages, and appreciate high-quality beautiful women.

But instead of choosing to preserve and enhance her value, she is selling herself off. She is quite literally a whore. In this case she at least evidently has enough honesty and self-awareness to admit this fact, but that does not make the reality any less bitter or painful.

She is likely to realise pretty quickly that selling her body for cash and prizes will bring her great comfort and privilege – for a little while. She will enjoy it. Be under no illusions about this. But soon – all too soon – she is going to find that what she truly wants is going to elude her, and no matter how hard she tries, she will not find it.

She will want to find a strong, successful, stable man to love and cherish her above all others, to be faithful and loyal to her, to give her children, and to give her a good life.

She will easily find some man who will fulfill some of these functions. But she will not find the kind of man that she desires, because her expectations will already have been set so insanely high that she will not be satisfied with anything less than a multimillionaire.

The problem is that multimillionaires are generally not interested in whores as long-term partners. And now, given that Ms Katya’s face is all over teh innarwebz as a confirmed prostitute, the best that she will be able to manage in the future is a Beta simp – for whom she will likely develop deep, ball-shriveling contempt and hatred in the end.

That, ladies, is the price of taking the ticket. You get cash and prizes, for sure. You also lose your soul in the process.

Choose wisely. You can always get the cash later, if you invest in your femininity and preserve your looks and save your body as far as possible for a man worthy of it. (Finding such a man is difficult, of course, but there are ways to make that search easier.)

But you can never get your soul back. Once you sell it, then it’s gone – kind of like, well, your virginity.
