Friday T&A: Ant and Grasshopper Edition

It’s everybody’s favourite day of the week again, and as always, yer very ‘eavy, very ‘umble servant is ‘ere to get us all into the right mood for the weekend.

Of late I have been thinking quite a bit about how important the “here and now” really is. It is vital to think about long term plans, of course; the old fable about the Ant and the Grasshopper has not lost its power in over two thousand years of telling. But it is important to take the time to enjoy the moment, too, and now that I am officially one of Ye Olde Phartes, being in my mid-thirties as I am, time definitely goes by a whole heck of a lot faster than it used to.

That is simply the nature of time. Once it’s gone, you don’t get it back. So, while I find that whole “You Only Live Once” philosophy to be tremendously annoying, it is vital and necessary to enjoy life a little while you can. You only get one shot to do good things for yourself and others, so take it while you can.

At the same time… never forget that good times always end, and those who do not plan for the future are always and everywhere doomed by their lack of foresight and vision.

Which brings us neatly to this week’s hot thot – because, as we know, Instathots are world leaders in living for the moment and not planning for the future.

Her name is Cindy Prado, and she hails from Florida – home of Floriduh Man, absurdly cold “mild winters”, alligators in swimming pools, mosquitoes, ticks, snakes, spiders, and septuagenarians who have chronic electile dysfunction that shows up every two years during a voting cycle.

She’s a really-for-real model, too – an artificially enhanced one, of course, but who isn’t, these days.

Happy Friday, gents. Get as much rest as you can this weekend; something tells me that the coming weeks and months are going to be busy for us, as the Left’s assault on all that is good, beautiful, and true ratchets up in intensity and speed.
