Happy Good Friday to you all, my brothers. Today we remember the day that Our Lord fell upon the Cross, and it is a day for reverence and contemplation, to be sure.

It is also a day to remember all that is good in this world. It is vitally important to remember that the Lord made us a promise to deliver us from evil, and that He sent His true beloved Son to us as fulfillment of that pledge. He kept up His end of the bargain; it is up to us to keep ours, by keeping faith in Him and in His miraculous ways.

Never let it be forgotten that, when the Lord sent us His Son, He did so in the full knowledge that He was sending Yeshua to His death. And that was so traumatic to Our Lord that, in the moments of Christ’s greatest suffering, He could bear to watch no longer and averted His gaze.

That is what Our Lord endured – for us, for our sake. And He continues to grant us grace, which we categorically do not deserve, even though we break His Commandments every single day, with impunity, and the vast majority of us do it without a moment’s remorse.

If that is not a miracle worthy of praise, then I do not know what is.

This is a very special weekend for us as Christians. Peace, love, and the myriad blessings of Heaven be upon you, my brothers. Thank you, as always, for your patronage of this blog, where the ultimate message is, now more than ever, about the light of hope in the midst of the ever-deepening darkness.

And so, to kick off our Easter weekend, here is Carly Lauren, who is apparently some sort of “content creator” and “influencer” (whatever that means). What is beyond dispute is that she is very, very attractive. Also, apparently she knows how to cook, she loves good wine, she likes the beach, and she really likes guns.

She might just be my perfect girl – although she has some tough competition from someone I know.

Enjoy the weekend, boys, and get some good rest. Remember that the war carries on, with or without us – but we will not win it if we are not ready and fit to fight.
