“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

The insidious drug

The man who became perhaps the most successful male porn star in the history of the adult film industry had some very powerful things to say about the true nature of porn:

It is important for young men today to understand what porn does to their brains.

Porn is a drug, just like heroin, cocaine, speed, meth, and a thousand other substances. The key difference with this drug is that you don’t snort or inject or swallow this one – you simply watch it and… uh… act.

Just because you don’t imbibe it like another drug, though, does not make it safe. Porn is a subtle drug that rewires the brain into preferring imaginary sex with artificially enhanced women over the real thing – and the rewiring tends to happen pretty quickly, too.

The act of masturbating, all the way to completion, releases the same chemicals that real sex does – but without the accompanying emotional satisfaction and post-coital glow that you get from being in the arms of a real live woman. That massive release of endorphins and dopamine, however, are enough to get a man addicted very easily – and the reality is that this drug satisfies one of the most primal needs that a man has.

As I pointed out in my post yesterday about biomechanics, men have one overriding reproductive strategy, and that is to have sex with as many women as possible. With porn, it is possible to “fulfill” this desire – so to speak – without ever leaving the comfort of your desk and chair. You can see a thousand different women in various states of undress in the first thirty minutes after you wake up – all of them artificially enhanced, beautiful, and athletic in ways that normal women simply cannot compete with.

The problem is that every single thing about the industry is fake.

The hottest female porn stars look RADICALLY different (read: far uglier) without makeup than they do with it.

The giant horse-cocks that you see on the male porn stars are often the result of some rather impressive prosthetics – which, of course, nobody in the industry will ever admit to.

And even the porn stars who say that they really love their work, are almost always lying through their teeth.

The industry is designed specifically to screw with your mind, while you end up paying for the actors and actresses to screw with each other.

It is at this point that a lot of young men will point out that porn is a viable and palatable alternative to going out and meeting women, at least in the Western world.

I rather tend to agree with them about this.

Women in the West, whether we are talking about big-city USA, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, or much of Western Europe, are utterly HORRID prospects for dating, never mind marriage and children. They are very often fat, slovenly, career-obsessed, loudmouthed, obnoxious, unfeminine, and far more trouble than they are worth for mediocre-to-bad sex at the end of a drunken night taking some beered-up sweathog out on to the dance floor of some random club to grind against at 2am.

Any man who has had to deal with the Western dating market knows what I am talking about here. These stereotypes exist for very good reasons.

That is still no excuse for men to satisfy themselves with porn instead of real women.

Yes, the West is a disaster. But there are plenty of parts of the world that are not disasters. This year, for instance, I was lucky enough to spend about 3 months in total in Moscow. What I saw there was uplifting and reassuring in many ways. Women in Russia, even in the biggest and most cosmopolitan of the Russian cities, take care of their appearance and understand how to look good. They are feminine, gentle, ladylike, intelligent, accomplished, talented, well-dressed, well-maintained, and caring in their own Slavic way. (They also have some significant issues and challenges, but that is a feature, not a bug.)

The same is true for large parts of the rest of the world. Feminine, gentle, caring women do exist elsewhere, and like women everywhere, they want a man who can lead them, challenge them, and provide for them – but without the over-the-top bullshit demands of so many Western women.

What is one common feature that these women all look for in their men?

They want a man who is interesting.

You know how you become an interesting man?

By logging off the porn sites, not fapping, going to the gym, lifting heavy shit, getting a decent wardrobe, learning how to fight, picking up some new hobbies and skills (like cooking or river-rafting or salsa dancing or skydiving), and traveling the world.

Such women know their value. They want a man who can exceed their own value. And valuable men do not waste their time on internet pornography.

So stop consuming the porn industry’s drug. Stop paying the (((special people))) behind the camera and giving them free license to destroy your culture. Stop fooling your brain into thinking that sex with a virtual woman is better than sex with the real thing.

Instead, get off your ass and make a better man out of yourself. When you walk into a gym in Moscow or Warsaw or Milan one day with a beautiful woman on your arm that makes the local guys stop and stare at you in jealousy, you’ll know that you have made the right choice.

One polite addition: The biggest puppetmaster is the people that process and sell the data that you generate when you "peruse" porn. "You" are the commodity. Just ask Mindgeek.com
