For some reason all of these commercials were considered “too controversial” to air. I rather fail to understand why- the photocopier one, in particular, is a side-splitter:

Sadly there are quite a few of these hysterical gut-busters that were not permitted to see the light of day. These, for instance, are condom commercials that were (very unsportingly) banned from airing on television:

Er… I probably should have mentioned that those are NSFW, right?

The great thing about the internet is that it allows us to bypass the media gatekeepers who would very much prefer to control everything that we read, hear, see, and experience. They’ve been very good at it for a very long time- but their control has been slowly loosening for years, and it won’t be too much longer before they fade into irrelevance and obscurity.

And when that day comes, the rest of us will be able to watch the raunchiest, stupidest, most crass commercials around without worrying about the “negative social message” buried deep within the fevered brains of the Puritanical social justice loonies who presume themselves to be our masters.
