A year has passed since, depending on how you look at things, Russia invaded Ukraine in an unprovoked war of aggression to slaughter innocent people – or, launched a preemptive war of self-defence designed to liberate and secure ethnic Russians in Donbass, and defang an extremely dangerous chess piece used by neoclowns to destroy Russia. It is not difficult to figure out which side of that debate I come down upon, obviously – but I do think anyone looking reasonably rationally at the evidence, will conclude I am largely right.
This war has been a catastrophe for the Western world. It is decidedly not a catastrophe for Russia. As I pointed out in my long post yesterday – yes, I know, this one is late, I wrote that one instead, because I was short on time – Russia is in fact winning, and winning BIG. It now controls roughly 20% of the land area of Ukraine, but that does not at all tell the whole story. Russia also happens to control most of the useful, productive bits of Ukraine – most of the industrialised Donbass, much of Ukraine’s famous “black soil” regions, and almost all of the Azov Sea.
But the West faces truly devastating defeat. Banderastan is a black hole of stupidity, corruption, and outright evil that consumes Western financial, military, and political capital at absolutely staggering rates. To give you some sense of perspective, 404’s pre-war nominal GDP was about US$150B. It has now received at least US$120B in economic and military aid, and is running a budget deficit of at least US$38B. That aid is not free, either – it comes with substantial conditions on a “Lend-Lease” basis, and has to be paid back over time.
This means Banderastan’s debt-to-GDP ratio, already high before the war at around 50% at the end of 2021, is assuredly well over 150% now. And 404 has definitely, forever, lost the very areas which once contributed the most to its public tax receipts – the very areas that actually produce things.
This is not a war the West can win. Continuing to pump weapons and nonsense into it, will result in the economic and financial collapse of the West itself, once Banderastan itself collapses.
This brings us to the ultimate fate of the West. I was extremely uncharitable in my writing yesterday, and I stand by every word I wrote. The West is supporting literal neo-Nazis and incredibly racist, virulent, and violent ultranationalists who are not joking when they say they would like to feed the bones of Russian-speaking children to their dogs and slaughter every last Russian-speaker in their misbegotten country. Western presstitutes used to report on these things, but have “conveniently” forgotten about these things now.
There is a price to be paid for these sins, and it will be a terrible one. The West will soon face a “day of wrath” – or день гнева, in Russian. And it will deserve that. The West has thoroughly turned its back on God’s word and has spat in His face.
The sickness infecting the West is rapidly approaching terminal levels. In the United Kingdom, the Church of England is considering adopting a “gender-neutral” God, and wants to permit its clergy to consecrate same-sex “couples” and “marriages”. In America, parents take their children to drag shows where groomer-clowns parade little children in sexualised outfits. In most of Europe, they use their “freedoms” to hold massive “pride parades” in which mentally ill men and women perform simulated (and sometimes not even that much) sex acts in public, in front of young children.
By contrast, in Russia, the country adopted a Constitutional amendment, by popular vote, in 2020, defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. The Russian Orthodox Church staunchly defends traditional teachings and masses. The Russian government has passed laws which ban ALL LGBTQWTFISTHISSHIT propaganda, of any kind, and has thrown out and defunded any foreign NGO that attempts to resist that law, which is very popular among the Russian people.
One does not have to agree with the Russian Orthodox Church’s view of Scripture (I assuredly do not), to understand which side in this global war is fighting on God’s side. Perhaps the Russian devotion to God is superficial, to an extent. I would not disagree. Yet God honours those who honour Him, in both word and deed, in both mind and heart.
So it is not hard to see who is winning in this war – and equally, it is not hard to see where the wrath of God will fall the hardest. It is already falling on Ukraine, which is paying a truly horrific price for embracing “modernity” and “Western values”. Make no mistake – an even greater degree of retribution is coming for the rest of the West.
It is well past time for the entire rotten, diseased edifice of the West to collapse. Perhaps what rises in its place will be a true West, rooted in patriarchal, masculine, Christian values that exalt God and put Him front and centre at the very heart of all they think and do.
But we are a long way off from that. Between now and then, there will be terrible tribulation and suffering – and it will be deserved.
And now, enough of such heavy thoughts, for it is time to enjoy the weekend. Around here, we do such things properly, with wine and song – and beauty.
