Monday morning breakroom beatdown

It’s Monday.

I really can’t make it sound any better than that. I tried, but it just is not possible. Let’s face it – today BLOWS.

Do try to look on the bright side, though. You could be this guy:

Not much ranting today, since I’m in a(nother) foreign country and a bit busy at the moment, but I’ve done my usual bang-up job of assembling various random stuff, awesomeness, stupidity, and A HOT BABE for y’all to look over while I carry on with my trip. Enjoy and try not to let the day grind you down.

With that in mind – I’m going to break with tradition a bit and give you a track to get your day started off the right way, so that you can face the idiots at work and tell them exactly where to stick their damned TPS reports:

The mighty and magnificent God-Emperor, Donaldus Triumphus Magnus, held the swearing-in ceremony for Justice Brett Kavanaugh at the White House last week, and it must be said that he did a superb job:

I have never understood what his, and by extension our, enemies on the Left – for that is what they are, enemies – can hold his speech-making abilities in such contempt.

Yes, he is not a polished speaker. Yes, he seems to have a fairly monotonous cadence and rhythm of speaking. And yes, his vocabulary is limited relative to the soaring (but empty) oratory of his predecessor.

And yet, look at how the God-Emperor speaks.

He graciously acknowledges and personally thanks each and every member of the Supreme Court of the United States, starting with Chief Justice Roberts. He offers a deep and sincere apology to the Kavanaugh family for the hell that they endured, on behalf of the people that he was elected to lead. He gives credit where it bloody well is due, even to those who have opposed him and belittled him in the past.

He is, in other words, a leader.

This is a man who not only inspires but commands respect. This is the kind of man that, if he were a general on the battlefield, his men would follow him into the very mouth of Hell. I have seen such men before, and they are exceedingly rare and typically only appear when the hour is late and the need is great.

Donald Trump is far from perfect. But he is the leader that America needs right now – if not, perhaps, the one that it deserves.

I’m very impressed with the Vladar Company’s output. The films produced by these guys take the freakish, weird, niche world of bodybuilding and make it much more accessible to the ordinary person – and they make the bodybuilders themselves much more human in the process.
