The weekend certainly zipped by rather too quickly, though I cannot say I did anything particularly interesting during it. That said, the prospect of greeting Monday morning was a rather shoulder-sagging one, especially given the long drive I have to make these days. Still and all, the good thing about this day, is the Great Mondaydact Browser Basher, which just makes everything better on this most miserable of days.

While the Russian Empire never achieved the levels of industrialisation of pre-1914 Britain or Germany, it was, in fact, a serious industrial power in its own right, well before the Soviet Union got started on anything.

HALO Nation

Personally, I am not sure HALO: Campaign Devolved CAN be fixed, at all. I booted up H:CEA on the MCC over the weekend and played through the first mission, and it was just night and day relative to the remake. The combat, the mechanics, the dynamics – EVERYTHING just felt simpler, better, and tighter, even with the weird graphics and far-too-bright lighting of the remaster.
