Yes, I know, this is late, it’s actually Tuesday. What can I say – I was busy most of the day yesterday. These things take like 3 hours at a stretch to put together in full, which is a big time sink in the middle of busy projects.

That said – this week’s Great Tuesdaydact Browser Slayer is packed full of good stuff, and we start off with something guaranteed to make EVERYONE happy.

Most of us are aware of the intensely irritating and felonious behaviour of certain people, who think that they have the God-given Constitutional “right” to help themselves to other people’s packages and deliveries. Certain enterprising wags came up with ingenious pranks designed to punish the people who do this sort of shit, and we have plenty of evidence from door-cams showing us how it is done.

So here is a great compilation of footage of porch-pirates getting what they THOROUGHLY deserve, and in many cases completely LOSING THEIR SHIT in the process, to give your funnybone a good tickle:

In the hospital my mother worked as a medical nurse, she came home. She called me over the phone, and a Russian drone dropped in and damaged the phone. She bled out just on the road. In this year, another medical nurse arrived home in a village, where is Yaroslav, Kherson Oblast. She arrived from the birthday of her grandson, left her car, and a Russian drone killed her.

Recently I watched a video of the evacuation of elderly people. God, how they stumbled in the snow, stunned by these explosions in the shelter, these old people! In Kherson, the front-line territories of Ukraine, remained old people and the most feeble people, who do not have the money to leave. Your army posts videos, about how it hunts people with drones – there should be some kind of limits of humanity. One order from you – one order from you can stop this. You say that you want peace. But if you stop this, to you this will be nothing, even no one will thank you. But the people will know this.

When there will be peace, I hope, I pray every day that there would be peace, when it comes, it will come to us to restore the human face, and why would not do this thing now? You enter the church, you pray, but when you come to explain to God why your army is hunting the feeble, the old, the poor people, that this is a war with NATO, a war with the West, what is this, how to explain this?

If you actually want peace, one word from you, one word from you, and this drone safari of people stops. And let it be that no one says thank you, the people will know. Peace, this is the only, the ONLY possible choice for the strong ones.

I do not know if you will hear me, but this needs to cease. It has gone too far. It is without humanity. This is so cynical, it is disgusting and low. You can stop this.

I translated all of that personally, with a little help from Yandex for the bits where her Ukrainian accent made things rather tricky. That was an interesting exercise, it must be said.
