My generation grew up during a sharp transition from peace, to war. Or at least, it seemed like a peaceful world, at the time, when I were a wee lad in Asia. It was a world of plenty, opportunity, optimism, and hope.
That world died 24 years ago.
I have said for quite a while now that 9/11 was the day the world ended. From the perspective of those my age and older, it pretty much was. But for the people who were born after that day, and are now of age, they have known nothing else besides a world constantly and consistently at war.
And now, in the wake of all that has happened in the past couple of days, they no longer truly know opportunity, or optimism, or hope.
The results of nearly a quarter-century of endless war are plain to see for anyone living in the West. The societies that so eagerly supported the “Global War on Terror” – as if you can somehow wage war on “terrorism”, which was an idiotic and flatly insane idea in the first place – lie broken, bleeding, and bankrupt. The West is no longer recognisably Western any longer. Nothing really works. Nations that were once high-trust bastions of culture, civilisation, and human progress, are now filthy, decrepit, impoverished, and extraordinarily unsafe.
That is all before we get to the seething violence boiling up under the surface of just about every Western society. We saw a foretaste of it throughout the past week, and especially yesterday. The assassination of Charlie Kirk requires more thought and attention than I can devote to it here, but suffice to say, it made me think we have gone past the tipping point, where there is simply no way to avoid the oncoming train of extreme violence and civil war.
Could all of these things have been avoided? Could 9/11 itself have been avoided?
I do not know. All I do know for certain, is that the official narrative about the day, was and remains a total LIE.
To be clear, I do not doubt that two airliners flew into the Twin Towers. I am quite sure that did happen.
But that is roughly ALL I am sure about, when it comes to the events of that day. Everything I have seen since that day, indicates that what many of us once denounced and decried as “conspiracy theories”, were most likely glimpses at the real truth.
That truth may be far darker than any of us want to admit.
All I can say is that, at this point, when it comes to 9/11, I am not sure what is truth and what is fiction. It could indeed have been a massive lapse in security and intelligence on the part of the entire American government, at every level, that permitted a hitherto unprecedented atrocity to take place, and which subsequently plunged the US and the Western world into unending war and chaos for the next 25 years.
Or, it could be that the 9/11 attacks were organised, orchestrated, and quietly permitted to happen by the real rulers of the West – the powers and principalities that sought to destabilise any possible rival to the unipolar hegemon, the world-bestriding colossus that was the US at the time, by destroying the Middle East and fundamentally disrupting the entire world economy in favour of the US. They may very well have done so to preserve and protect Israel.
Indeed, it could very well be that the entire American government is, at this point, nothing more than a skin-suit for Jewish and Israeli interests. The actions of its most prominent representatives, regardless of party affiliation, certainly support that theory.
Whatever the truth of the matter, I know this for certain:
The West’s time is done. It is over. There is no coming back from what has happened over the past quarter-century. Those my age and older have lived through the death throes of TWO empires in our lifetimes. We witnessed the dawn of a new unipolar age with the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the end of the Cold War. And now we are watching the end of the unipolar New Evil Empire, the Empire of Lies, that is the US-dominated Western world.
The multipolar world that will replace it, will likely be more stable, more equitable, more fair, and more humane – despite the vast internal contradictions of the countries that comprise that new order – at least for a while. Then it, too, will become corrupted and evil, and will fall, to be replaced by something new. This is the way of things. It was always thus. It will always be thus until the End Times.
But the tragedy is that an entire generation’s future was thrown away and lost in the process.

I remember watching it on a grainy 480p TV when I was small, I got to witness the tail end of the joyful times before 9/11 came about. All I can say is this…kikes delenda est. We know who the fuck did it.
Well said. I remember right after the event that everyone, and I mean everyone, had an American flag sticker on their car, including the NASCAR race the next weekend, where every team had one on the car somewhere and some teams removed the sponsors altogether and did patriotic schemes. I remember several singers coming out with songs about how great America is. Yes it was a bit corny, and we were a fracturing country even then, but it’s unfathomable that you would see that kind of response today. Shows how far we’ve fallen in 25 short years.
George F. Kennan, former ambassador to Russia, architect of the Cold War containment strategy, and one of the US’ foremost statesmen before he was canceled and erased for objecting to the Kissinger foreign policy orthodoxy of the 60’s and 70’s, once said that in order to counter the Soviet Union’s dreams of Empire, the United States would have to become well nigh upon an Empire itself, and having fundamentally transformed itself in order to do so would likely have difficulty returning to founding principles.
A very prescient man.
That’s exactly what happened.
And now Pax Americana falters itself.
My words: “To become an Empire is to start the Empire cycle.” By my counting, the US Empire began when it started to play the Great Powers games under TR with the Great White Fleet. That means the clock is sitting at about 125 years.
