“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Constitutional rule can never be restored

The painting you see up top is of course Picasso’s “masterpiece”, Guernica. I am not a fan of modern art, at all, but that painting is considered one of the greatest of the 20th Century. I cannot say I particularly care for it, but it does have a rather harrowing quality about it that illustrates just how horrible the Spanish Civil War really was.

I got to thinking about precisely that conflict, when reading a book recently (as is my wont).

Many of those in the American Right, who enjoy reading fiction, are familiar with the name of Kurt Schlichter. He is a conservative author and commentator, who has been writing columns since at least 1984. Born right at the very tail end of the Boomer(cuck) group, he has mostly (though not entirely) been successful at avoiding the stupidest and worst cliches of that twisted and faithless generation. After years of writing non-fiction books and opinion columns, he decided to try his hand at fiction novels, starting with the People’s Republic series in 2016.

I say that he has mostly avoided the Boomercuck cliches, but I strongly criticised his 2019 book, Conservative Insurgency, as being basically a ridiculous MUH CONSTITUTION!!! fantasy. As I pointed out in my critique of the book, the Constitution of the United States of America – which is the single greatest document of political thought and philosophy ever written – has utterly ceased to be of any relevance to modern America.

And that, of course, is because the PEOPLE of America have fundamentally changed. The Constitution was designed and written for and by White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. It ONLY works for WASPs, though the brilliance of its design, and the flexibility inherent within it, allows for non-WASPs to live in peace and freedom under its core framework, up to a point. If you try to take the US Constitution, and apply it anywhere else, except for America, with a different history, people, and culture, it will FAIL.

It has failed in the US. No one with any serious political knowledge can look at the FUSA today and claim that its government operates under an even remotely Constitutional setup.

To his great credit, of late, Mr. Schlichter seems to have figured this out, because his People’s Republic series reflects the potential for a true Second Civil War – which will be decidedly uncivil in every way. The last book of his that I read, The Attack, was a take on how the events of Oct 07 2023 could happen in the FUSA, and I thought it was actually pretty decent – his incessant Zioclowning notwithstanding.

After all, we can now be pretty sure was nothing more than a green flag staged by Israeli intelligence and the Netanyahu government, for the specific purpose of setting up the Gazacaust and the ethnic cleansing of the remaining Arabs from Gaza and the West Bank. Mr Schlichter, like most American Christian Zionists, simply ignores or waves this all away.

Be that as it may, Mr. Schlichter took some useful lessons from that attack in his book, and showed that he does at least understand that the dynamics of Fourth Generation War have shifted the power balance decisively against the ability of the US government to maintain law and order.

Now he is back with a new fiction book, written in the same “first-person correspondent” style of Conservative Insurgency, The Attack, and Max Brooks’s legendary entry in the ‘”future history” genre, World War Z. His latest book, AMERICAN APOCALYPSE: The Second American Civil War, essentially takes a different spin on the idea that spawned the People’s Republic series, in which he looks at a pretty dreadful future, where President Trump and Vice President Vance are assassinated, and the regressive, globalist Left takes over the FUSA.

In that book, the country breaks apart into a most uncivil war, as the new regressive regime cracks down on what few Constitutional safeguards remain. Eventually, the “Red” states win, taking back the whole of the US, and imposing a new set of laws upon the territorial United States.

The important point that Mr. Schlichter makes, which few – if any – of his ideological brethren seem even willing to countenance, is that, IF the “Red” wins, then the future of America WILL NOT look like a Constitutional republic, in which people have full freedom of speech, association, and movement.

Anyone who fantasises that it is possible to go back to the original Constitutional form of government, without colossal pain and a degree of social rupture and trauma that would make the War Between the States look like a gentlemanly disagreement over a game of cards, is hallucinating. He is simply not living in the real world. The level of death and destruction required to make that happen, is beyond anything any nation has ever seen. It would be on a scale that boggles the mind – and would require TENS OF MILLIONS of casualties.

To be clear, I am NOT advocating for any of this. I am simply stating cold, hard facts.

Mr. Schlichter, again to his credit, appears finally to understand this fact. There is NO peaceful means for returning to Constitutional norms any longer. That disappeared a long time ago. I am not nearly clever enough to figure out exactly when and where this happened, but if I had to put my finger on it, I would argue that the stolen Fake Election of 2020, which has never been properly investigated, was that point. Elections in the US have been a running joke around the world for a long time, but the fact that the Daemoncrats literally STOLE the election in 2020, with absolutely zero consequences, means it can easily happen again.

The Constitution sets out precisely how the orderly, legitimate, electorally correct transfer of power is supposed to work, under the law of the land. However, it is axiomatic that if a law is not enforced, then it is not a law. It is merely a suggestion – and a particularly stupid one, at that.

Given the US cannot enforce the laws around its own elections, why, then, should anyone take seriously its ability to enforce anything else?

Moreover, the corruption of the American body politic has reached such a severe stage, with such deep hatred between different sides, that there is no reconciliation possible any longer. The next civil war will not be like the first in the US, where soldiers from the Union and the Confederacy were still able to recognise and respect each other’s fundamental humanity. This photo, from many years after the war, demonstrates this very well:

These men fought and bled for their own very different ideas of what a Constitutional government should look like. The Confederate Constitution, for instance, imposed far sharper limits on executive power and legislative authority, than the American Constitution ever did. The Union fought the war under the belief – which persists to this day – that states who voluntarily joined the union, have no right to voluntarily secede from it. Never mind that this argument is facile on its face – that is what they fought for, and they considered it a legitimate fight.

Yet, they were able to reconcile after the war, and create the greatest industrial economy in history in the process.

The coming civil war will be nothing like that. It will not be a sharp division between “North” and “South”. It will instead be neighbour against neighbour, brother against brother, father against son.

All you have to do is to look at an electoral map of the last election. As many others have pointed out before, the US is not cleanly separated into the “Clinton Archipelago” and “Trumpland”.

Looking at that map, you can see an awful lot of light colours, between the dark red and dark blue areas. That is where the vote results were very mixed between Republicucks and Daemoncrats. These are the places where the ruptures are going to be the worst, the most brutal, and the most ruthless.

There are something like 200 MILLION people living in those territories.

Americans are simply not prepared for the level of death and destruction that will come from a new civil war – which, at this point, is basically inevitable, as Tom Kawczynski pointed out in his book, The Coming Civil War.

Why is it inevitable? For precisely the reason that the US Constitution no longer applies. America has been subjected to the greatest mass migration of people in human history over the past 60 years. At least 100 million people have arrived from foreign shores, and have been born to foreign parents, in the USA. You would have to be a complete blithering idiot, incapable of feeding yourself, to think that this has had no impact upon the politics and demographics of the US.

The US Constitution was designed for a WASP-led republic. America is not that any more. For something approaching 150 years, America has been an empire. And empires, by definition, are multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-national agglomerations of individual nations, living under the threat of force and coercion from a centre of power.

If the American nation no longer exists – subordinated as it is under an American empire – then the American Constitution no longer applies.

If the American Constitution no longer applies – and it self-evidently does not – then the rules and norms governing civilised behaviour in the US no longer apply either, in the event of a civil conflict.

And if those rules and norms no longer apply, then the coming civil war will be literal Hell on Earth.

Again, it was Mr. Kawczynski who pointed this out in his book. He illustrated how the coming war will blend long-simmering tensions between Blacks and Whites, Latinos and Blacks, Globalists and Nationalists, and all manner of other ugliness. The results will make internecine conflicts of the past look minor by comparison.

And, again, I want to make it absolutely clear that NONE OF THIS SHOULD EVER HAPPEN. I am NOT advocating for any of it. I am simply pointing out that it is inevitable.

Indeed, let us run through a potential scenario, similar to what Mr. Schlichter is proposing in his latest book, in which a Nationalist Right force emerges to resist and fight back against massive overreach by the Globalist Left.

The Nationalist Right may win such a war, as happened in Spain. That is not guaranteed in the US. I know there are people who read this site who think that the Conservative Right will win, if only by slaughtering 10 million of their fellow “Americans”. I am not nearly so confident in the outcome. The Right is armed to the teeth, but it is slow to anger and incapable of mass organisation, the way the Left is. It is also not united around any particular ideology, the way the Left is, because – as I and others have pointed out innumerable times by now – “conservatism” is a cope, not a strategy or an ideology.

Conservatives cannot fight and win a war if they cannot figure out what they are actually fighting for in the first place.

Indeed, the fastest way to make a cuckservative cry and run sobbing for the comfort of his AR-15, is to threaten to call him a racist. Try it sometime, it’s actually quite funny.

Let us suppose, though, that the Right can get organised, and can get rid of the cuckservative keyboard warriors. Let us suppose there is a Christian Nationalist movement that emerges from the chaos and collapse of the FUSA, following a general economic crisis – which is a virtual certainty at this point. And let us say it organises and guns up, in response to flagrant overreach and craziness on the part of the Globalist Left.

Such a force could, potentially, win a civil war.

The Globalists count on their control over the military to win such a war. They forget that military bases around the US depend on civilian structures, personnel, and infrastructure for support and logistics. It would not be particularly difficult for an armed and organised insurgency to wipe out those logistics, thereby starving the future “American” military of its ability to suppress the rest of the country. Paramilitary units could easily do this using asymmetric tactics – we have seen the Ukrainians and Hummous successfully using them against their enemies, and we have seen how Hezbollah in Lebanon has successfully held off and defeated the Israeli military, repeatedly, using them.

So, suppose that right-wing Christian Nationalist insurgency coalesces into a genuine state, and is able to defeat the former United States in open battle. Suppose America does finally become a truly Christian Nationalist regime.

What then?

The answer is simple:

The Constitution goes out the window.

MUH FREE SPEECH!!! will disappear. The old anti-blasphemy laws will be reinstated. Mohammedanism will almost certainly be outlawed, if not punishable by death. Homosexuality, transgenderism, and all the LGBTQWTFISTHISSHIT nonsense will go straight back into the closet. Paedophiles will be sent to the gallows – or, preferably, the woodchipper.

Does this sound like a Constitutional future to you? Of course it is not. It cannot be.

Mr. Schlichter makes the excellent point that government systems, once they rupture and fail, almost never go back to what they were. And there will always be the purges, mass executions, and “corrections” of the people who deviated from what the new regime wants – no matter who wins.

This is inevitable. It is NOT justified, it simply is what it is.

Does anyone really want that in the FUSA? I for one certainly do not. But I no longer see a way to avoid it.

I suspect that the civil war 2.0 isn’t going to be won by either side (if we define victory as the reconquest of the lower 48). What we are looking at is the coalescing of new nations out of the USA’s carcass.

As for what those nations could look like I’ve already enumerated that on my substack. I might get around to slapping all those posts into a single document and updating them.

The best quote I saw about this whole situation came from Twitter a while ago:

America is a corpse being devoured by maggots. Democrats are rooting for the maggots, while Republicans are rooting for the corpse.
