The long-awaited Ukrainian (counter)offensive has finally begun. Indeed, as of this writing, it has been underway for a bit over a week. Last Sunday, the hohols rolled out troops and vehicles in substantial force, and began what they insist on calling “probing attacks” to gauge the strength of Russian defences all along the Zaporozh’ye front lines.
I think we can very reasonably conclude this did not go to plan, AT ALL, for the Ukies.
In the space of 7 days, the Ukies have lost over 80 CONFIRMED vehicles destroyed – the picture you see above is a day or two old at this point – and several thousand men. (This includes quite a few HMMWVs – or “khumvees”, as it were.) They ran straight into Russian minefields, covered by artillery, and sent out their men without air support and relatively limited artillery cover.
“Limited”, in this context, is indeed very much a relative term. Russian “voenkors” (военные корреспонденты – war correspondents) have all reported on Telegram that Ukrainian HIMARS launches and artillery strikes have been exceptionally heavy, and the Russians have assuredly lost men to these attacks. They admit as much.
But, if you look at the losses suffered on both sides thus far, there is simply no question that Ukraine has suffered extremely heavy casualties. And if you take Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu seriously, the Russians are dishing out pain at the rate of about 13:1 in terms of dead men and destroyed machines.
In the words of the Greateste Livinge Englisheman:

Making an ASS out of U and ME
Just how “not well” it has gone for the hohols can be seen from these pictures:
There is an emerging consensus that Ukraine, and the NATO military planners who essentially crafted this offensive, made three key assumptions, none of which have stood up to actual tests:
- The Russian military has poor morale and low quality of soldiers and machines;
- Their generals are a fractious and squabbling bunch who lack a clear command structure and indulge in petty internal rivalries;
- Most importantly, when confronted with serious forces, the Russians will simply cut and run, as they did before in Kharkov;
Precisely NONE of those assumptions was ever true. It seems to me as if the Ukies – and, rather more importantly, their Western masters – bought into their own bullshit and propaganda when planning this offensive.
The third assumption is the most egregiously stupid, by far. I have repeatedly pointed out the fact that, during the Khreat Khokholite Kharkov Khounteroffensive late last autumn, the Russians had very thinly defended lines in that region, because they had serious manpower issues due to contract soldiers refusing to re-up their service agreements. They lost some 50,000 men, who very sensibly wanted to go home after getting a bellyful of serious war.
(You see, despite the ridiculous Western caricatures of them as a bunch of crazed warmongering Asiatic Orcs, the Russians in fact understand, in their very BONES, what war really means.)
So, when the Ukrainians sent several brigades worth of men and machines to “probe” the Russian lines, on the basis of Western satellite and aerial reconnaissance that indicated weak and sparsely defended lines in those regions, they met with very little real resistance, and punched a big hole into the Russian defences. The Russians, recognising the futility of holding ground without serious artillery, manpower, and logistical support, very sensibly abandoned the region and pulled their troops back to the Oskol River.
They made the Ukies pay in blood for every kilometre of that advance, though. As Brian Berletic pointed out in his video yesterday, the Ukrainians lost between one and three brigades for that “Khounteroffensive”. This jives reasonably well with estimates I have seen, which indicate the Ukies lost about a full division’s worth of men against, basically, a vastly inferior number of second-string Russian forces who report to the Ministry of the Interior. Those OMON/SOBR guys are hardasses, to be sure, but they are NOT regular Russian military. They are essentially very heavily armed policemen.
In reality, whenever the Ukies have gone up against serious, well-fortified, entrenched, well-supplied, well-trained, capable Russian regular military, they have been DESTROYED. Every. Single. Time.
Baiting the Enemy
As I have also said, many times, the Ukrainians – and their Western masters – are fighting a PR war. They do not understand what real war is – else they would not have produced something this silly:
We can readily surmise the response of the Russian military was something like this meme, suitably modified by our very own MK, LRFotS and resident Kraut of our Telegram channel.

This pretty much corresponds exactly to what actually happened. The Russians saw the Ukrainians coming from a long distance, and ploinked them, HARD, with artillery and especially air power.
That last is not a joke. The Russians have their Ka-52 “Alligator” attack helicopters operating with almost complete impunity in Zaprozh’ye region. For them, the Ukie columns are a literal turkey-shoot:
You can see the results of all of that Russian firepower in multiple confirmed videos, like the one below. There is now a large and growing graveyard of Western-donated vehicles belonging to Banderastan in the Zaporozh’ye region:
As I pointed out above, despite losing ALL of that firepower and heavy metal, the Ukrainians have not really budged the front-line by very much of anything. They are still kilometres away from just the first line of Russian defences – and the Russians have between three and five of those lines, throughout most of the front:

To be clear, the Russians WILL give ground and retreat away from indefensible positions – they just did yesterday, in fact, leaving the village of Neskuchnoye, not far away from Blagodatnoe, west of Ugledar, because staying and fighting would have exposed their troops to encirclement by the (NATO-trained) Ukrainian 68th Jaeger Brigade.
Yet, the Russians are also fully capable of defence-in-depth – as they also proved today, rapidly recapturing the same village they just left. And, again, this is MILES FROM THEIR MAIN FORTIFICATIONS.
The Russians, in other words, are in absolutely no hurry. They are perfectly happy to smash Ukie armour and infantry ALL BLOODY DAY LONG.
And, eventually, they themselves will go on the offensive – once the Ukies are bled completely white.
Oinkety Boinkety, Leopard Go Ploinkety

(That meme comes to us from Telegram chat member V.I.N.C.E.N.T., our resident Catalan, and is being widely shared on Russian Telegram, much to everyone’s amusement.)
The destruction of Leopard 2 tanks is a particularly important point, from a PR perspective. The Russians have long claimed they do not fear the Leopard 2s in the slightest. While the Leopard 2, especially the latest model, is probably a very good tank – I cannot say one way or another, since I have little patience for games of Top Trumps when it comes to military hardware – even a novice like me can figure out that tanks cannot survive on their own in a modern battlefield.
The Russians have long known this. The Donbass War reinforced these lessons. You can find videos out there of LDNR militia tanks engaged in fierce battles in and around Donetsk Airport – which the Russians FINALLY recaptured earlier this year, as I recall – where Ukrainian soldiers are literally chasing tanks around while waving RPGs. Without infantry, air, and artillery support, tanks die just as easily as men do.
In other words, you have to use combined-arms tactics to field tanks successfully.
What is happening in the killing fields of Banderastan right now, indicates a complete lack of understanding of this basic principle. That is not my opinion – that is the actual situation on the ground, as reported by both Russian soldiers and Western observers.
The Leopard 2, Challenger 2, M1/A2 Abrams, or anything Tier 2 tank, is not a wunderwaffe. It is just a tank – big, noisy, and quite terrifying, to be sure, with the pipe on the front end MORE than capable of ruining anyone’s day. But it’s still just a tank. And tanks, when unsupported, are highly vulnerable.
The Ukrainians have already lost dozens of tanks and IFVs, including at least two confirmed Leopard 2A6 tanks – the most advanced of the 60 or so Leopard 2s the Ukies begged from the collective West. They have also lost numerous Leopard 2A4s, and dozens – plural – of M2 Bradleys. Again, the Brads are among the most advanced weapons the Ukies have received.
A number of commentators on Telegram have expressed incredulity at the amazingly bad tactics displayed by the Ukies. Apparently, all they did was drive everything in a single-file column, through Russian minefields, behind a mine-clearing vehicle. So, all the Russians had to do was ploink the lead vehicle, forcing the entire column to come to a screeching halt, and then ploink the rest, one after another.
This, they have done, with exceptional success. You can see the results above.
The Fogh of War

There is now a palpable sense of desperation coming from the West. Headlines in the Western lugenpresse show the panic gripping the Deep State and Clown World. They understand full well this is their last throw of the dice, their final gamble. NATO arsenals are HEAVILY depleted – there is nothing more for them to send the Banderites. The Russians have, very successfully, run the world’s greatest scrap-metal recycling program, for which the West really should thank them – after all, were not Western Greens all about disarmament for peace?
On a more serious note, though, the West is now considering doing what was previously unthinkable. As ex-NATO General Secretary (and former Danish Prime Minister) Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated recently, there is now an increasing awareness that NATO might need to intervene directly.
And, if there is no stomach for that – which, let’s be clear, THERE ISN’T – then the most bellicose of the NATO member states might decide to form a “coalition of the willing” and send their individual armies in:
Rasmussen, who serves as an adviser to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and worked with his predecessor, Pyotr Poroshenko, said Kiev should be given written guarantees before NATO leaders meet in Vilnius, Lithuania next month, including for Western intelligence-sharing, weapons transfers and joint military training.
“If NATO cannot agree on a clear path forward for Ukraine, there is a clear possibility that some countries individually might take action,” he said on Wednesday, according to The Guardian.
“I think the Poles would seriously consider going in and assemble a coalition of the willing if Ukraine doesn’t get anything in Vilnius.“
Now, no one in his right mind can credit this assclown for being any sort of strategic thinker – he is a neoclown par excellence, after all, and neoclowns are ASTOUNDINGLY stupid, almost by definition. However, let us be very clear about one thing:
If Poland and the Baltic states decide to enter the war on Ukraine’s side, they will be destroyed.
That is not jingoism on my part. It is a sober recognition of hard facts. Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania combined have a smaller population than all of St. Petersburg alone. Their militaries are so small as to be essentially irrelevant – they do not even register on a global level. Between all three of them, they have total active manpower of about 27,000 men/women/whatevers (remember, these people are progressives of the worst kind) under arms.
Poland is a bit better off – its current active-duty military has about 120K men under arms, and they recently issued a call-up for 200K reservists. But this does not change the fact that any Polish-Slovak-Lithuanian-Latvian-Estonian-Czech-whatever joint force, would be able to deploy BARELY 50K men, total, to Banderastan – and would not have the equipment to outfit them.
For, all of these nations have essentially denuded their militaries to give everything to the Banderites. They are busy replacing that hardware with outrageously expensive American wunderwaffen – the Poles are trying to replace their donated T-72 and PT-91 Twardy tanks with South Korean K2 Black Panthers, but those will take time to integrate into their force structures.
Are these rump nations really willing to send in thousands of their men to die under Russian guns? Especially considering that Russians do not view them as “brother peoples”, the way they do the Ukrainians? (Or so their leaders continue to claim, anyway – the average Russian on the street thinks rather differently, at this point.)
We have several Poles who read this site – or at least, they did, back before the Banderastan War. Since I make no secret whatsoever of my strongly pro-Russian views, I imagine most of them have gone elsewhere. If any remain, I ask them directly:
Are you willing to see your countrymen go off to die in Banderastan under Russian guns, for a war they cannot win, in an extension of wars your people have fought in the past, and LOST, every single time?
Neoclown Delusions
I return here to a point I made above: the West continues to operate under totally deluded assumptions about the Russian economy, military, and leadership.
They do not understand ANYTHING about Russia, the country, the people, or the culture. They are totally clueless, to an absolutely shocking degree, about the realities of life in Russia.
The neoclowns who started this war, thought the SANKSHUNS!!!!!!! would destroy Russia’s economy, because they operated on the literally religious belief that Russia is just “a gas station masquerading as a country“, in the words of the thoroughly unmourned arch-neoclown (and likely traitor) Sen. John S. McCain III – may he burn in Hell.
They clearly have never visited Russia or met actual Russians. I have done both, and I can say with hand on heart that I, personally, am astonished at the resilience and power of Russia’s economy. When I lived there, I did not see a broken Second World kleptocracy – I saw instead a modern, powerful, industrialised, high-tech country with infrastructure far superior to that of the USSA at the time. And yet, I did not understand the power and scale of Russia’s industry (most likely because I spent all of my time in Russia’s west, which is the most Europeanised, and did not visit any actual factories).
Those same neoclowns also thought Russia’s military is weak and useless, based on its performance at the start of the war – where the Russians did, in fact, make several big mistakes. However, neoclowns, being maleducated morons, completely misunderstand the Russian thinking that led to the initial invasion.
The Russians never wanted this war. Their opening gambit essentially amounted to a thunder run to blast toward Queef, surround the city, and pin down the Ukrainian military there, while simultaneously securing the land bridge to Crimea and rolling back the Ukrainian forces in Donbass. They wanted to force Ukraine to the negotiating table – nothing more. So they went to war with what they had, and took heavy casualties (relatively speaking) in the initial phases of the war due to the need to strike hard and fast.
Also, since neoclowns are so blind-drunk on their own self-belief and their own delusions about American military “might”, they do not realise the Russians were not fighting against goathumpers and kiddie-fiddlers in the Sandbox and the Rockpile. The Russians were fighting fellow Slavs, armed to the teeth and outfitted with the latest NATO kit, numbering in the hundreds of thousands.
America has repeatedly lost wars to the aforementioned ragheads. Does anyone here seriously think the US could prevail against an ACTUAL military that knows what it is doing?
These delusions, and many more besides, are leading the neoclowns to over-commit to a failing war. They have zero self-awareness, zero ability to think critically, and zero ability to admit mistakes. They cannot look at things objectively – they lack the education or real-world experience to do anything useful with their lives, which is why so many of them have degrees in joke subjects like history, international relations, politics, and sociology.
Thus, they have no reverse gear. And their delusions will lead directly to WWIII going from cold to hot, in a very big hurry.
Conclusion – BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
There is no voting your way out of this. Dumbocracy is not going to work. These blithering idiots do not care about the will of the people. Just by way of example, as Annalena Dumbock herself has stated in the past, she does not care what her own voters, and she is quite annoyed with Brazilians for caring more about food prices in their country, than about the war in Ukraine. She is highly representative of the GloboHomoPaedoPharisatanist warmongers currently running things – they literally do not care if the world burns.
Sadly, this war will continue until Russia finally retakes Ukraine – or at least, the bits of Ukraine that rightfully belong to Russia in the first place. That means all of Zaporozh’ye and Kherson regions, and then Kharkov, Krivoy Rog, Nikolaev, and eventually Odessa too. They may or may not take Queef and rename it to Kiev, as it always should have been, but it really should be part of Russia, given its status as the Mother City of the Киевская Русь.
But all of this will cost thousands of Russian lives – and TENS OF THOUSANDS of Ukrainian ones.
No matter what happens, the West will be defeated and destroyed – of that, I am sure, because this war is existential for the Russians, and they literally cannot fail or lose. It is a terrible tragedy that so many will die for a failed war like this, though.
In the meantime, the neoclowns will get what they always wanted:

This is what the French felt like in 1914 after years of listening to their Military Men speak with such conviction about the Elan and the fighting spirit of offense. Elan doesn’t beat artillery.
