“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Monday morning bank runs

by | Mar 13, 2023 | Mondays | 1 comment

Ugh. Monday. Again. (By the way, fun fact – you remember the voice of Optimus Prime? Peter Cullen? He has also provided the voice for Eeyore, since 1988. Pretty amazing if you think about it.) And this Monday is particularly bad, because we just saw the failures of not one, not two, but THREE banks in the USA over the past few days.

First, Silicon Valley Bank failed. Then Signature Bank and Silvergate Bank failed as well. And now, First Republic Bank is showing signs of severe distress. The fact is, we are looking at another episode of serious financial calamity – a long-overdue explosion of a massive bubble that central banks have pumped up to gargantuan proportions over the past 14 years.

This is going to end very, very badly. We MIGHT avoid a complete collapse of the Western (no longer global) financial system, THIS time. But the increasing centralisation of power, along with the socialisation of risk, means the next phase of the crisis, whenever that happens, will likely be the final and true complete collapse.

The FDIC has already, as of this morning, effectively backstopped ALL deposits in the USSA, regardless of size. This is not the way a bankruptcy is supposed to work. In a real bankruptcy, a bank that fails, should wipe out its shareholders – the values of their stakes in the bank have to drop to zero. Then, creditors need to be paid at pennies on the dollar, for whatever the assets of the bank will get in a fire-sale on the market.

If you have deposits at a bank, you are a creditor. That is literally true. When you deposit money at the bank, you are providing an unsecured loan to the bank, of potentially extremely short duration. The bank then turns around and underwrites loans against your deposit – but does so by lending multiples of your deposit, through the system of fractional reserve lending.

This means their assets only have to lose a small amount relative to their liabilities (i.e. your deposits) before the bank becomes insolvent.

That is a non-technical way of explaining a tricky topic, but the end result is the same – banking crisis and eventual collapse.

So let’s hand it over to Clayton Morris to explain this simply:

This is going to become a systemic crisis very quickly. Look out below.

Clayton Morris from Redacted interviews his old friend, #BasedTucker, about the current (terrible) state of the whore-media and what that means for the rest of us:

Dawn of Battle

The Male Brain has lots to keep us occupied this week. We start with a video from SWNS, made by people who clearly have FAR too much time on their hands, involving stop-motion LEGO animations:

It is pretty darn epic, though.

John Stossel looks at how the government avoids accountability and transparency using its infamous “Classified” designation:

Prager U and Alex Epstein explain the truth about the so-called “climate crisis”:

Steven He gives parenting lessons – I can confirm that many of these apply even today, and are VERY effective:

Ever wondered what a war in space would look like? Because Science points out it wouldn’t be anything like STAR WARS:

Wisecrack wonders where all the eggheads went:

It is an unavoidable reality of our present-day condition that people have become MUCH stupider. That is just a fact. And it is a very sad one.

Jack Chapple explains how the Dutch, of all people, want to become the next great power:

Poli-ticking Off

Mark Dice offers sensible investing advice – by telling you to ignore the bald fat doofus who gives TERRIBLE advice:

The dynamic duo over at Redacted tell the harsh truth about electric cars:

Jackson Hinkle interviews one of Russia’s most senior and skilled diplomats, UN Deputy Ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy, about the reality of Ukrainian neo-Nazism:

Дед Сварливый Говорит!

Grandpa Grumpuss grumps, grumpily, about submarines – and some of what he says about the American nuclear submarine fleet might surprise you:

It’s All Greek To Us

The good gentlemen of The Duran discuss the geopolitical earthquake that occurred last week, when the Chinese brokered the resumption of diplomatic ties between Iran and Saudi Arabia:

China Syndrome

Winston Sterzel aka serpentza

Digging to China thinks Gen-Z are bucking the “9-9-6” work ethic:

I remain highly sceptical of anything pro-Western actors say about China these days. The CPC is in fact considerably more capable of running its own country, than Western governments are of theirs. That doesn’t make the CPC good – it categorically IS NOT – but it does make them substantially more competent than any of the Western counterparts.

The Bald Truth

Brian Berletic of The New Atlas analyses the rather odd protests hitting Georgia (the country, not the state) right now:

This is yet another Colour Revolution, intended to stretch and distract Russia, at a time when its efforts focus on destroying the West in Ukraine. It might work – but the neoclowns really do not understand that they have a reverse Midas Touch. Everything they handle, turns to shit.

Semper Fi!

Maj. Scott Ritter talks to Stephen Gardner about the trap Banderastan now finds itself in:

Warrior’s Rage

Col. Douglas Macgregor unpacks the latest Russian strikes against Banderastan, which appear to have been frightfully effective:

Righteous Rantery

Lord Razor of the Fist Clan is unimpressed – to put it VERY mildly – about the proposed Cuck Rogen reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is definitely REALLY GOING TO SUCK:

PJW marvels at the sheer intellectual incoherence of e-thots:

The inimitable, irrepressible Katie Hopkins offers up her take on the whole Gary Lineker “controversy”:

Let’s be clear about this: Lineker is a privileged liberaltard twat. He has the right to mouth off as he sees fit. But the whole thing is nothing more than a distraction from the growing social and economic crisis in PommieBastardLande.

Bad Medicine

Dr. John Campbell talks to Dr. Suneel Dhand about the growing trend of vaccine refusal, across all categories of vaccines, even legitimate ones:

From LRFotS JohnC911 – here is a video from Dr. Eric Berg DC explaining how and why the Middle East, of all regions, has the lowest cancer rates in the world:

Warriors of Faith

Tha Dizzle and his good friend The Apostate Prophet have a lot of fun unpacking some decidedly oddball stuff from a fellow YOOTOOBER with respect to Izzlam:

Dr. Jay Smith from PfanderFilms knocks down the absurd scam of “Zamzam well-water” in Mecca:

Al-Fadi from CIRA International and Mel from Sneaker’s Corner provide updated evidence about the true origins of the Dome of the Rock – one of Izzlam’s holiest sites, and one with a completely misunderstood history:

Islam Critiqued breaks down the particularly stupid Izzlamist argument about the whole issue of ahruf – different Arabic versions of the supposedly “one and only revelation” that is the Koran:

Manly Men of Manliness

Terrence Popp explains the importance of holding frame:

Joker from Better Bachelor offers straight talk about a… proper garden tool who is having a really difficult time finding a man to settle down with:

This problem is getting worse by the day in the West. Men with standards simply do not want women who get… what’s the term they use these days… eggplanted on camera for money. Women without standards are a proliferating invasive species. They make a shit-ton of money in their younger days, but then they wake up at about 30 and realise they are used, worn-out garden tools, and nobody wants them anymore.

It is a tragic moment when a formerly beautiful woman pancakes into the Wall at 200mph. That moment draws much closer the more eggplant a woman takes in her youth.

These are just biological facts. Women would do well to stop complaining about them, and start accepting them.

If you haven’t already subscribed to the Man Talk channel… you should, it’s hilarious:

Womanly Virtues

Jedediah Bila offers up her own take on that viral video clip of the Christian CHAD who completely wrecked a proper garden tool:

Pearly has very little patience for delusional WAMMENZES:

Burn Paedowood to the Ground

Overlord Dicktor Van Doomcock reckons Bob Iger is actually going to make some pretty severe cuts at the House of the Devil Mouse – the conditions for which HE HIMSELF created:

The whole situation with Iger really is like a firefighter-arsonist coming back to the scene of his own crime to put out the fire he started.

Ryan Kinel notes the harsh reality of the failure of the STAR WARS: Galactic Starcruiser nonsense:

The Drinker analyses the latest Creed film, and draws parallels between it and Rocky V – which is not a bad thing, the way he does it:

Reading Too Much Into Things

Your “Science is F***ING WEIRD” moment of the week is from Mark Sisson, and talks about the power and value of whey protein:

In most mammalian milk, casein protein predominates and whey is a minor fraction of the total protein content. Cow, goat, horse, sheep—very high in casein, low in whey. But in human breastmilk, this ratio flips. As much as 80% of the total protein in human breastmilk is whey protein, where it plays important roles in immune system regulation and programming, cellular growth and differentiation, and overall physical and mental development. Infants raised on formula higher in casein end up with less lean mass and more fat mass than infants raised on formula higher in whey (and closer to the composition of breastmilk).36

You could make the argument that whey protein is one of the most ancestrally consistent dairy foods a person can eat.

Overall, whey protein is much more than just a protein supplement. It builds muscle, improves glucose control, regulates immune function, lowers stress, and confers a ton of beneficial effects on people who consume it.  Real food is the foundation for a healthy diet. But whey protein is much more than a muscle-builder and meal replacer. I’d argue that it deserves a spot on the “supplemental foods” list alongside egg yolksliverfatty fish, and all the other foods that are powerful and vital in small doses.

I feel comfortable recommending its use for almost everyone, given that it’s one of the best-studied and oldest dietary supplements around.

Your long read of the week is by Rockaboatus, and chronicles the extreme sartorial decline of America, which mirrors the decline in morals and public decency of the country as well:

What a stark contrast all of this is to prior generations of White Americans. Consider the 1950s when America, according to some observers, was at its pinnacle in terms of national unity, civility, and morality. People used to dress up when they went shopping or even to the grocery store as strange as that may sound to our ears. It wasn’t rare to see men in the stands at a professional baseball game wearing suits and women wearing dresses. These were public events, and they dressed accordingly.

This wasn’t because they were snobs and thought themselves better than others. Rather, it was because they had respect for themselves as well as those around them. They lived in a high-trust, homogeneous society. There was a common consensus among most Americans on right and wrong, a love for their country and countrymen, and they maintained this national unity in everything they did. They were far from perfect, no doubt, but they had a level of civility and self-respect largely missing from today’s generation.

Few Americans in our time seem able to relate to this. We are a deeply divided nation (if we can even be called a “nation”?) and there is almost no consensus on anything. We have become individualistic to the core and care only what is best for me and mine. The racial and cultural changes that emerged during the 1960s — orchestrated and funded in large part by revolutionary Jews who felt no attachment to heritage Americans — ensured that the next generation and those after would be marked by racial division, the decline of the family, total demoralization of the White majority, and increasing instability.

Making matters worse, Americans have been badly influenced by Nihilism and Cultural Marxism which attacks the very foundations of tradition and beauty. Is it any wonder why our young people who come under the spell of Leftist thought, including the more recent ‘woke’ movement, are soon transformed into the most visually repugnant persons? It’s a sickness of the mind and soul, and it manifests itself in how they outwardly present themselves to the world.

And finally it’s time for the Instathot to get the week off to the right start. Now, as a matter of principle, I have generally refused to feature Ukrainian hoholinas in the Friday segment, with only one or two exceptions, because I can say from both personal experience, and the clear evidence before us on Telegram and elsewhere, that Ukrainian women are a special type of batshit crazy. As bad as Russians can be, Ukrainians are worse – and they lack the redeeming features of Russian ladies.

The Friday segments are all about celebrating feminine class and grace. The Monday segments, however, are all about eye candy and statutory safety warnings.

So, in that vein, here is your dose of danger to get the week off to an appropriately risky start. This here is Tamara Stepanenko from Banderastan, and she says she’s a psychologist.

So, basically, she’s nuts, with plastic. Do not touch without serious safety equipment, or you will likely trigger a number of allergies.

OK, boys, that’s it, off to work – while there is still a financial system worth working for, that is…

“The Prime Minister of Japan warns that his country could disappear if its people don’t start having more babies – which is difficult, given the increasingly sexless nature of both Japanese women and men;”

Is this the result of loosing the war with the USA? The men became impotent and the women followed into oblivion?
After Japan’s industrial success of it’s a baffling endgame. Now the nation fritzs away into nothingness.
