“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Didactic Mind, Ep 93: Value and Worth

by | Feb 18, 2022 | Podcasts | 0 comments

This week’s podcast is all about how you can add value to people’s lives, and finding those people who bring value to yours. I break it down into 7 basic principles, as enumerated in the podcast itself, and take you on a journey to achieving your own telos, or potential, as I wrote about in a post from some years back.

Those steps are, essentially:

  1. Understand that time = value;
  2. STFU about yourself and stop wasting the valuable time of others;
  3. Learn how to add value back to people;
  4. Build deep connections according to your strengths as an introvert;
  5. Figure out how to find people – women and friends – who add value to your life;
  6. Seek out and uncover your Sacred Purpose, and thereby find your telos;
  7. Charge what you’re worth;

It’s that simple – and that hard.

Shout-out to LRFotS Pat Himself/TechieDude, who – being a card-carrying member of Ye Grumpye Olde Phartes Clubbe, like yours truly – expressed his annoyance at the fact that I took so damn long with the previous episode. Sorry, mate, hopefully there won’t be too many such delays in future.

Protect Yourself From Big Tech

I make some pretty incendiary statements in this podcast, and in most of my podcasts. I can only do so because I take steps to protect myself from the Big Tech companies, and preserve my identity. You need to do the same – this is no longer optional, because if you don’t, the gatekeepers WILL come for your head.

If you don’t know where to start, then I’ve got you covered right here with this post. Here are the specific steps that you can take:

Build Your Platform

  • Get yourself a proper domain for your site or business with Namecheap;
  • Put your site onto a shared hosting service using A2Hosting for the fastest, most secure, and stable hosting platform around – along with unlimited email accounts of unlimited size;
  • Create beautiful websites with amazing, feature-rich content using Divi from Elegant Themes;
