“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

With the great election just a few days away, I give my thoughts about the chaos that will happen in the aftermath, regardless of who wins. I explain the purpose behind the chaos and the tests that are to come. I look at the ways in which you can prepare for them. And I provide reason for hope and faith in the midst of the carnage that will definitely come along:

    Couple notes:
It’s probably a lot closer than 20 miles that you hit normal people from Austin. Even within the city, you’ll hit purple areas, just like DFW. Hell, I can throw a rock at the Dallas city line and from my place north, it’s pretty red.

Most of us that are normal view these bluebean transplants like you would any other mentally impaired person. If we talk about them we’ll say stuff like “Well, she’s pretty much useless, bless her heart” (and it will nearly always be a ‘she’)

About the light switch trigger for the ultraviolence – I heard a quote from a black dude that said something along the lines that they don’t want to push these guys because when they snap, they’ll take your whole family out along with you.
It’s a small step from defending yourself to realizing that a mile buffer or so would be a good thing.

These thugs and antifa have no clue what will happen to them if law and order breaks and people clan up. There was a twitter post going around a few months back that said it was mind boggling that these marxists were calling to defund the police, when the existence of a police force is the only thing preventing Americans from killing every single one of them.

You’re right, actually. I have a friend who lives somewhere near Bee Cave (or whatever it’s called), and that’s pretty rock-ribbed conservative from what I remember of it. I recall driving up near there to meet her for lunch, and I drove past a bunch of trendy gastropubs and cafes and then ended up in hardcore steak ‘n’ burgers areas. My type of place, really.

“Bless her heart” – can’t get any more Southern than that. As opaque as a Japanese koan and every bit as loaded with meaning.

Judging by the way that the MAGA Brigade is reacting in AZ right now, gathering outside polling stations and demanding that the votes be counted, I think we are getting very close to that boiling point now. If, God help us all, we do get President Harris and President-Emeritus Biden, then all bets are off, because if they do defund the police, it’s time to get tactical.
