Back in September 2018 I wrote a post discussing how General William Tecumseh Sherman, bane of the Confederacy and the man who authorised scorched-earth tactics against the South in his infamous “March to the Sea”, was absolutely 100% correct in his opinions about journalists.
The past day has given people like me yet more reason to be thoroughly disgusted with the entire professional (((media))) class, with some rare and honourable exceptions.
The background to this is that yesterday a story broke concerning hydroxycholorquine, the supposed “miracle drug” touted by President Trump as a “game-changer” in fighting the Chinkflu. According to a study performed under the auspices of the Veterans Affairs Department, death rates among patients receiving either hydroxychloroquine or a combination of that drug and the antibiotic azithromycin, the death rates were worse than with patients who were untreated.
Here’s the Washington Compost article, which is pretty typical of the coverage from the presstitutes about the observational study:
An anti-malarial drug President Trump has aggressively promoted to treat covid-19 had no benefit and was linked to higher rates of death for Veterans Affairs patients hospitalized with the novel coronavirus, according to a study, raising further questions about the safety and efficacy of a treatment that has seen widespread use in the pandemic.
The studyby VA and academic researchers analyzed outcomes of 368 male patients nationwide, with 97 receiving hydroxychloroquine, 113 receiving hydroxychloroquine in combination with the antibiotic azithromycin, and 158 not receiving any hydroxychloroquine.
Rates of death in the groups treated with the drugs were worse than those who did not receive the drugs, the study found. Rates of patients on ventilators were roughly equal, with no benefit demonstrated by the drugs.
More than 27 percent of patients treated with hydroxychloroquine died, and 22 percent of those treated with the combination therapy died, compared with an 11.4 percent death rate in those not treated with the drugs, the study said. The results were from an observational study of outcomes and were not part of a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial, which is the gold standard for testing drugs.
[…]
The French national agency in charge of drug safety reported that 43 patients taking hydroxychloroquine or a combination of the drug and azithromycin suffered cardiac-related side effects and between one and four deaths. The agency said the drugs should be given only to patients who are hospitalized with covid-19, the disease the coronavirus causes. Researchers in Brazil ended a portion of a clinical trial testing high doses of chloroquine in covid-19 patients after they developed heart problems and suffered higher mortality.
A team of researchers at New York University’s Langone Medical Center found that, out of 84 patients treated with the combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, 11 percent had QT prolongation beyond 500 milliseconds — the proven danger zone for sudden cardiac death. Thirty percent of the patients overall had significant increases in their hearts’ QT intervals.
There are so many things wrong with this article that it’s hard to know where to begin.
Let me preface all of this by pointing out that I’m not a doctor. I am not qualified in any way to offer a medical opinion. All I can do is look at the second-hand research that is out there and draw my own conclusions based on logic and evidence.
I profess no opinions whatsoever about whether or not hydroxychloroquine combined with azithromycin are effective in treating patients with the Chinkflu. I don’t know. Neither, I wager, does most of the medical profession. Certainly the presstitutes have no clue.
The difference between me and the whorenalist class is that I have the humility and self-awareness to say openly that I DON’T KNOW whether this treatment is effective – and the open-mindedness to say, “what the hell, give it a shot, let’s see what happens”.
And unlike most of them, I have enough of a background in mathematics to understand probabilities.
So:
Look at the first emphasised snippet above. I highlighted it for a reason. The study was not a true randomised double-blind trial, it was an observational study. And there are even more serious problems with it as well. It turns out that the study in question involved patients who were already intubated on ventilators – at which point, their odds of survival were basically less than one in three even without drug treatments.
Why one in three? Because the evidence that we have from around the world concerning the usage of ventilators indicates that Kung Flu patients who get put on them, die at least two thirds of the time – and that is because ventilators are typically used to help pneumonia patients whose lungs cannot function normally. But late-stage Kung Flu does not present quite the same problems as truly deadly pneumonia.
The problem with many – though not all – of those patients is not that their lungs are failing. It is that they are not getting enough oxygen into their blood through their lungs, because the Kung Flu causes the body to produce a disgusting thick goopy substance that coats the lung membranes and stops oxygen from getting through. But this only affects part of their lungs; most of the lungs and the breathing passages remain clear and unaffected.
Indeed, large numbers of critical patients are reported as being in a euphoric state – similar to people who climb up mountains too far and too fast without oxygen, or deep-sea divers who come up too fast and suffer from “the bends”.
The big problem is that Kung Flu patients are consistently and generally treated as though they have late-stage pneumonia – but the classic symptoms of actual pneumonia are not the same as late-stage Wuhan virus.
Turning back to this VA observational study, what this means is that patients who are intubated on ventilators are already highly likely to die, in part because it is very likely that they are actually being mistreated, in the correct sense of that word.
Therefore, administering a drug that does in fact have certain dangerous side effects for the human body in high doses to such patients, probably won’t help matters much.
The presstitute malfeasance doesn’t stop there. Take a look at what Laura Ingraham had to say about the results of this “study”:
Get that? Apparently the VA “observational study” of patients who were “untreated” with a Z-pack, actually involved patients who were treated with a Z-pack.
So. Much. Fail.
The doctor behind the original recommendation about hydroxychloroquine, one Didier Raoult, is an interesting character. Significant parts of the medical community regard him as a lunatic and a quack, and he apparently has a history of fabricating data and results. The original trials in which he used hydroxychloroquine and claimed like 90% effectiveness, evidently involved patients who weren’t really sick anyway and many of those likely would have recovered on their own.
It is instructive, by the way, to see how the whorenalist narrative about Dr. Didier Raoult and hydroxychloroquine has changed over the past four weeks.
Here’s an English-language article from a French news website that calls Dr. Raoult a “renowned research professor in France” from a month ago.
Shortly thereafter, a New York F***ing Times article ran whichadmitted that hydroxychloroquine had shown some effectiveness in a small clinical trial.
And all of this followed on from an NIH study that showed that hydroxychloroquine was more effective than just regular chloroquine at stopping the Kung Flu outright from taking hold.
Yet nowadays, the American whorenalists refer to Dr. Raoult as a “climate denier” and “coronavirus truther”, a “Trumpian BS artist” and a con man and grifter.
God Almighty, but these people are disgusting. They don’t just lie – they lie about their lies.
Let’s be clear about something here.
Chloroquine and its derivatives are NOT cures for the WuFlu. At best, they are preventatives. That is what THE EVIDENCE actually says. That is what THE EVIDENCE has said since at least 2005, when the anti-malarial drug was found effective at preventing the spread of SARS, the (supposed) progenitor of the Kung Flu, through primate cells.
There are legitimate, justifiable reasons to question whether hydroxychloroquine is effective. And it’s fine to make that argument. It’s fine to argue that we need more time to figure out whether this stuff works, along with better testing, more careful and nuanced analysis, and balanced handling of the results. It is quite acceptable to question Dr. Raoult’s analytical rigour and the quality of his research – that is the entire point of the scientific method.
What is NOT fine is to argue, based on the results of a small sample set of highly questionable and in many cases tainted results, that a drug is completely useless and that those who promoted its use were hypesters and hucksters rushing forward without paying attention to the science.
In the first place, His Most Illustrious, Noble, August, Benevolent, and Legendary Celestial Majesty, the God-Emperor of Mankind, Donaldus Triumphus Magnus Astra, the First of His Name, may the Lord bless and preserve him, did absolutely nothing of the sort.
Let’s take a look at what the God-Emperor ACTUALLY SAID about hydroxychloroquine back in the day:
President Trump on Hydroxychloroquine: “It’s been around for a long time, so we know if things don’t go as planned it’s not going to kill anybody…It’s shown very, very encouraging early results, and we’re going to be able to make that drug available almost immediately.” pic.twitter.com/Q7C8dk7gnd

He certainly did call it a “game-changer”. He also said that he did not know whether it would truly work, but that he had hope for it and wanted to see if it could be useful. In other words, he was doing his damn JOB as Commander-in-Chief, making decisions with limited information, and giving people hope in a very dark time.
And for that, he has been roundly criticised, mocked, and vilified, by people who hate him and everything that he stands for.
In the second place, the very same study that the (((media))) are promoting and hyping as definitive proof that the God-Emperor got things completely wrong, is not the only study of its kind – and there are considerably better ones out there, where the patient samples did not suffer from the same quality control problems.
In a Chinese study that has not yet undergone peer review, 62 COVID-19 patients entering Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University were randomly assigned to control and experimental groups. In this study, hydroxychloroquine was found to help patients fight off pneumonia.
A second Chinese study, involving 100 patients at multiple locations, obtained essentially the same results.
Once all of this madness settles down and we emerge, mole-like and blinking at the harshness of the light, out of lockdown and quarantine and self-isolation and all of that other nonsense, to take stock of the tremendous damage done by this huge overreaction to the Kung Flu, we will find ourselves confronted by a very different world.
I’ll try to discuss some of those differences in Sunday’s podcast. But one prediction that I make here and now is that the notion of “expert consensus” in the (((media))) and the medical and scientific establishments will be treated with far greater scorn and contempt than ever before.
They will deserve every last ounce of that contempt and hatred. The presstitute classes have already proven beyond any shadow of a doubt that they are absolutely the enemies of any free people. The point of a free media is to hold leaders accountable and give people information that they cannot get themselves – but these days, most of the lying (((media))) is nothing but a mouthpiece of the great Invisible Enemy, Satan himself.
They peddle lies. They trade in lies. They believe in lies. They stack lies one on top of another. They cover up their own lies by lying about them, and then lying about those lies.
The time is rapidly approaching when the correct and proper response to a “journalist” from ABCNNBCBS, the NYFT, the Washington Compost, the Daily Beast, Vox Media, or any other “mainstream” whorenalist outlet, will be to clap him in irons and lead him straight to the tender embrace of Madame Guillotine:
(h/t LTC Tom Kratman for that one)
And honestly, I’m well past that point right now. I am so thoroughly disgusted with these people that I’d much rather simply have them all sentenced to death for treason, immediately.
At least then maybe they’d all be honest about what they’ve done. After all, as Dr. Samuel Johnson once remarked, “the prospect of hanging tends to concentrate the mind wonderfully”.

The issue here is these people are retarded, as well as crazy.
I consume almost no mainstream media whatsoever. The man said it looked promising, we'll make it available to try, couldn't hurt. It's not "Trump's Cure".
They don't seem to understand colloquial English. For instance when the yenta reporter was hectoring Trump for calling it the Chinese Virus. When I read his answer, I shrugged my shoulders "It's because it came from ..China"
I guffawed when I saw the video. The pause, then how he said "Chiiinaa!" cracked me up. Same way I'd say it.
This is why he's a great man, he talks in clear, colloquial (actually NY) english.
Yeah. I love listening to the God-Emperor speak. He isn't polished or smooth or eloquent. My personal vocabulary is vastly greater than his. But he speaks in a way that is easily relatable. He doesn't talk like a politician at all. He talks like an ordinary New Yorker – if you didn't know who he really is, you'd think that he's just another average loudmouthed guy from New York F***ing City. And because of that, it's so much fun to listen to him when he absolutely tees off on someone he doesn't like.
The problem with being in power or having responsibility is you have to talk to the press.
If you are lucky they will just distort your message.
Sherman was correct.
Yep. Most Southrons hate Sherman – but even the most ardent fan of the Stars & Bars would probably agree with him about journalists.
