The Gamma male is a pretty unfortunate character in the SSH, mostly because his problems are largely self-manufactured. The number one most common trait of Gammas is always their insistence on lying to everyone, including themselves, by making claims that might appear on the surface to be correct, but are in fact utter nonsense the moment that you bother to delve into them.
The worst of them, such as the High Priest of Jordanetics, come up with lies that are so egregious and so flagrant that it takes no more than a slight application of common bloody sense to see through them. The problem is, of course, that common sense is… well:

The guy who pulled it off was, at best, a Leftist with strong sympathies for the Chinese Communist Party. The most likely explanation at this point really is the conspiracy theorist’s one, which says that the whole thing was an elaborate false flag operation designed to disarm Kiwi civilians and make it harder for law-abiding citizenry to get their hands on the arms and armaments needed to defend their homes from Dirt World invasion and government overreach.
And, ironically enough, the new bans wouldn’t have done a single damned thing to stop the attacks anyway – because the weapons were brought in from New Zealand’s bigger, richer, and rather more comprehensible cousins, the Australians.

Monday Didact runs… make my whole damn week, they do. These and Brett Stevens' Periscopes — why bother reading anything else!!!
