Our beloved Supreme Dark Lord (PBUH) has been working tirelessly (and ruthlessly, of course, let’s not forget that part) to launch ALT*HERO, the new back-to-basics comic series from Castalia House Publishing. The FreeStartr campaign was launched on September 28th with an initial goal of $25K in public crowdfunding.
The campaign smashed straight through that goal within, like, 4 HOURS.
Evidently quite a lot of people are just as thoroughly fed to the back teeth as I am with the unbearable, unreadable state of modern comic books.
That’s right. I’m very proud to say that I am one of the contributors to this campaign. I kicked in $50 and am very much looking forward to receiving my T-shirt and first three digital issues.
In fact, the campaign is doing far better than even we Vile Faceless Minions expected it to. The whole campaign blew right through its second stretch goal of $50K in order to publish the next two volumes.
And there are still another whole 29 days to go.
Lads, if you have a few shekels to spare, or some loose change rattling around in the cupholders of your car, or a couple of dollar bills shoved down the back of your couch somewhere, please consider contributing them to this campaign. Based on the quality of the releases from Castalia House up to this point in time, I have very good reason to believe that ALT*HERO is going to be a big success.
At long last, we might just be able to read a comic with really fun storylines.
Finally, we might be able to see real heroes doing really heroic things- like jumping over buildings with a single bound, or honing their wits, body, and will into the most finely-honed weapon that a man can possibly make himself into, or overcoming terrible adversity and pain to triumph in the face of impossible odds.
And maybe, just maybe, we’ll be able to shove a giant, unpolished, unlubricated stake straight up the arse of the social justice hive mind collective that has taken over DC Comics and especially Marvel these days.
As the Supreme Dark Lord (PBUH) noted in his DarkStream on the subject, SJWs are screaming bloody murder about ALT*HERO even before the first issue has been published- because they cannot bear the pain of seeing him succeed:
The SJWs now crying and throwing fits on Twitter do not seem to realise that the reason why the FreeStartr campaign has been so wildly successful so far is precisely because people want to see this comic produced.
I sure as hell do. And I am not alone.
There will be a great deal of wailing and gnashing of teeth to come yet. I hope that ALT*HERO is going to be every bit as good as I expected it to be when I donated my hard-earned cash- not just because I love reading a good story about great heroes, but also because I truly want to see the Social Justice types take another body-blow to their self-image.
They cannot create. They cannot build. They cannot improve. They have no ability to elevate our souls and spirits through the sublime skill of their works. They can only pervert and destroy.
Now it’s our turn to show us what we can do- and Vox Day is leading the charge. Good on him. He deserves our support for his efforts.

To be fair, a lot of us deplorable bastards contributed more because we know this triggers bloated crybullies beyond belief, as they truly (and wrongly) believe they 'own' the art scene.
