You know you’re watching something special when Roger Federer is performing at his peak on Centre Court at Wimbledon- and when he’s simply dicking with his opponents, as he does in these 17 spectacular rallies:

Watching the Championships this year was a very, very special experience, especially in the final where he not only broke Marin Cilic’s game, he also broke the man’s nerve and will. In those specific rallies, though, it is clear that he wasn’t just having fun out there- he was at his absolutely ruthless best, taking on his opponents and simply wiping the court down with all of them.

It was a performance the likes of which we have not seen in many, many years from Federer. I’m very much looking forward to seeing what he can do at Flushing Meadows in September.
