“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Happy anniversary, Popp

Redonkulas.com, the hilarious commentary site maintained by the one and only Terrence Popp, recently celebrated its first year of making fart jokes, dick jokes, mocking various idiots, and general all-around tomfoolery with a best-of video that was almost as funny as the regular features:

The picks here are all hysterically funny, but my favourite one, which also happened to be the one that both Popp and the director picked as the best one of the past year, was of course the now-legendary “500 Miles of Mr. Right”:

If you haven’t visited Popp’s site and had a look at the material that he puts up there, you’re missing out on some great stuff. Popp does not, as far as I can tell, consider himself part of the “Manosphere”, although he has taken ideas from it (and given credit where it’s due, so we’re clear); indeed, I doubt he considers himself part of much of anything at all. But there’s no denying that the man has a real talent for comedy- mostly because, like all great comedians, he takes serious subjects and serious ideas, and communicates them in such a way that you fall over laughing, yet realise that he’s telling you something profoundly useful.

So happy anniversary there, Popp, with hopes of many more great videos in the future.
