Apparently, some enterprising academics published a study involving nearly 10,000 voters across various Western nations, and they were shocked to discover that nearly half of them think dumbocracy is broken, non-functional, and non-representative.
To which people like me respond:
“TOOK YOU LOT BLOODY LONG ENOUGH!!!“
Dumbocracy was always, at its core, a false god. It starts from the failed premise that mob rule provides for a better approach to governance than the rule of supposedly “unaccountable” kings and monarchs. In reality, dumbocracy is merely one-third of what Cicero described as the cycle of governance in De Re Publica – the cycle that moves through monarchy, oligarchy, and democracy. Always and everywhere, we end up at the same endpoint – tyranny.
Whether it is the tyranny of the one, the few, or the many, is irrelevant, except to the people who have to live under that system. The result is always the same, and it always happens because people who have no “skin in the game”, end up running the system.
This is exactly what we see happening in the West today. The collective failure of governance that we see across every Western nation – with only a small handful of exceptions, like Slovakia and Hungary – is happening because those nations have electorates with large segments that have no “skin in the game” at all. This, in turn, is because those segments have nothing in common with the actual people of the very real nations that exist within the geographical confines of those territories.
The result is as predictable as it is inevitable: dysfunction, discombobulation, and disorder.
If you look at PommieBastardLande today, you see a country in the throes of a perpetual and insoluble political crisis. The so-called “government” of Queer Stormer is on its last legs – I would not be surprised to learn that he has been deposed as Prime Minister by Christmas. The problem is, there is no one who can replace him, with any credibility, because Stormer himself was elected into office with an overwhelming majority – which he mistook as a vote FOR LIEbour, when in fact is was a backlash AGAINST the Cuckservatives.
The replacements lining up behind him, consist of – in descending order of likelihood – a gay man, a socialist redhead woman, and a couple of other non-entities, including one or two soyboys. That is the depressing reality of politics in PommieBastardLande.
It is really not any better anywhere else. Not in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand, or really, anywhere else in the West.
The contrast between the West and the East could not be more stark. When you look at the “authoritarian” societies of Russia and China, you realise they actually work – despite very severe flaws, especially in the case of China – because the leaders have an actual and clear link to the people they govern. For all the screaming about how The Putin is a tyrant and an autocrat, the plain FACT is that 80% or more of the Russian people strongly approve of his policies.
This is not the result of brainwashing. Anyone who thinks that, has never met an actual Russian in Russia. They are an amazingly well-informed, inquisitive, historically-minded, strong-willed, tough people. Most of the Russians I know, actually dislike President Putin – or at least, they did before the war started in 2022. Today, they now accept and realise that he saved their country from the direct onslaught of the whole combined West, and they recognise full well how much the West hates Russians, at a genetic level.
This collective nervous breakdown we see in the West, is the direct result of decades of misrule, by people who actually hate those they govern, and who have sought to replace the governed with a new body politic, brought in from nations that have nothing to do with Western traditions and norms. We are now seeing the outright results of “replacement theory” in action – the total breakdown of civic society, rendering Western nations ungovernable and ready for the tyranny of one.
Mob rule has led to oligarchy – really, plutarchy – and that is inevitably going to lead to the rise of tyrants. Most Western nations, in my view, would tacitly or even actively accept an authoritarian ruler like The Putin – you can hear people saying precisely that in PommieBastardLande, and not quietly, either.
The outlook is bleak for Western “dumbocracy”, which richly merits and deserves destruction, at this point. All we can hope is that whatever tyrant comes along afterwards, will be somewhat less insane than what came before it – though prospects for that are dying out fast.
Anyway, enough of such depressing things. Let us get to the lovely lady of the week.
This here is Simay Acar, from Turkey – NOT a destination that has featured much on these pages, and generally with good reason. I have been to Turkey a few times, and let us just say that I have never been particularly impressed by what I have seen. Yes, it is a beautiful country, with tremendous history – going back at least 4,000 years, and probably a hell of a lot longer than that, given what has now been found at Gobekli Tepe – but I can’t say I care much for the people.
Beyond her name, I don’t have a clue who she is or what she does.
