The news that broke yesterday about the YUGE, very beautiful, really amazing call, the most amazing discussion, the greatest conversation ever, between Ornj Boi and the Neo-Tsar, done VERY STRONGLY, was welcome, up to a point. We then got from it a TROOF from Drumpf about an upcoming summit meeting between himself and The Putin, this time in Budapest. Best of all, it appears that the YURPEENS, and especially the odious Crackhead Clown of Queef, will be kept FAR away from the summit, which will apparently take place in a couple of weeks.
Does this mean we will finally see a negotiated settlement emerging between the US and Russia, and that this blithering idiocy of supplying Tomahawk cruise missiles will finally be put to bed?
No.
Consider the sheer logistical difficulties involved in making this conference happen. To get to Budapest, the Russian President will have to travel via a torturous, circuitous route, bypassing European airspace. He will have to avoid Ukrainian airspace – rather obviously – but he will also have to avoid Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, and probably Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia as well.
The resulting route means The Putin must fly over Turkey, then the Mediterranean, then probably Montenegro and Serbia, and finally on to Hungary.

That is a total distance of not less than 5,000 kilometres. (Or about 3,100 miles, for you ‘Murkin heathens who insist on using that monumentally stupid imperial system.) It could be as many as 5,500Km.
Now, “Red Force One”, as it were – the heavily modified and upgraded Il-96-300PU aircraft that the Russian President and senior officials use to travel by air – can easily make that trip. Its operational range is somewhere between 7,000 and 10,000Km, depending on its payload and take-off weight. The Russian Aerospace Force will need to send out a group of escort fighters, most likely Su-35S, which have an operational radius of 2,000Km. They will need mid-air refuelling, which the Russians can manage just fine.
The point, though, is that the logistics of all this are an absolute nightmare.
And that is before we get to the fact that the YURPEENS, and their khokhol vassals, are going to do their absolute level best to find any way they can to disrupt the proceedings. The Neo-Tsar will be at much greater risk of assassination in Hungary – which, we must remember, borders 404 – Country Not Found – than he would ever be in any other friendly or neutral country, anywhere in Asia, the Middle East, or Africa.
Add up all the logistical issues, and you come to a complete and total fustercluck.
This, of course, presumes that the summit meeting between the two world heavyweights of geopolitical power will be successful, in any way. I am not at all sanguine about the prospects of that outcome.
As I pointed out in my recent poast on the subject of these stupid Tomahawks, Russia and the USA are nuclear superpowers, and as such, they move in a very different orbit than the other world powers. Even China, for all of its colossal economic strength, does not have a military and nuclear arsenal that compares with that of the two true superpowers.
And, given the Russians now have qualitatively the best military on the planet – starting with the best army, continuing with the most combat-tested air force, and concluding with the most capable navy – it behooves them to take the time and effort to speak with the declining hegemon that still deludes itself into thinking it can impose its will on other nations.
However, even when the two powers do meet, we must understand that the two sides are completely out of balance.
The Russian side has a colossally experienced, serious, practical, wise, knowledgeable, and extremely intelligent leadership class. From the Neo-Tsar on down, the entire Russian Security Council – which includes such heavyweights as CHADrov, the world’s most experienced Foreign Minister and the greatest diplomat alive today, and CHADvedev, a former Russian President and Prime Minister – is a group of tough-minded, pragmatic, hard-nosed, highly educated, very cultured men. They know their business and they understand the subtleties of global geopolitics.
The American side has Cucko Rubio and the God-Emperor leading it. And Drumpf, for all of his strengths, is also completely transactional. He has a gigantic ego, he is a complete blowhard, his thinking is totally short-term, and he only understands money. He has no concept of long-term thinking. Where the Russians think in decades, Ornj Boi thinks in terms of days or weeks at most.
This is before we get to the fact that he is supremely uneducated on the subjects that actually matter. It is well known by now that he does not read his intelligence briefings, and pays little attention to people who tell him what he needs to know, instead of what he wants to hear. His ego and his deep personal insecurity gets in the way of real, serious intelligence getting to him.
All of this explains why we keep hearing complete nonsense coming out of his mouth, about how BRICS is falling apart and nations are leaving it, or that the Russian economy is in very bad shape and collapsing, or that there are huge (“YUUUGE”) queues for petrol in Russia. Not one word of those things is in any way true. It does not take much to figure out these falsehoods, but the problem is that Drumpf makes zero effort whatsoever to check anything. He shoots entirely from the lip, without forethought or strategic understanding of anything he says.
If he is indeed suffering from dementia – and I strongly suspect he is – then these tendencies will get worse, not better.
When you add in the fact that Drumpf basically acts in accordance with the advice given to him by the last person with whom he speaks, then we are looking at a complete and colossal waste of time. This summit in Budapest will result in a grand total of absolutely nothing.
On the Russian side, the Neo-Tsar is increasingly isolated and exposed. As I noted earlier, he is in a curious position. On the one hand, he is hugely popular among the Russian people, because he has done the almost impossible: he has delivered prosperity to the ordinary people of the country, even as the whole nation is under unbelievable economic, financial, and political pressure from the formerly totally dominant West. On the other hand, though, there is increasing, and open, frustration in the Russian ruling class – which reflects a much broader anger among the Russian people – that The Putin is taking far too lenient a line with the Americans and their European vassals.
If he is not careful, the Neo-Tsar could find himself as the only voice in the entire Russian government that wants any kind of peace deal with the West. The rest of the Russian Security Council, almost to a man, is at the point where it simply wants the Russian military to kick the United States in the teeth, and move on.
Make no mistake, Russia is more than capable of doing precisely that. Russia does not need to use an Oreshnik strike against US bases in Germany, Poland, or Romania, to inflict serious pain on Europe and the US. It only needs to cut off all titanium and uranium supplies to the West. This will instantly cripple the aerospace, military industrial, and nuclear power industries.
If the Russians choose to retaliate against the US in a military fashion, they have weapons that can sink entire US carrier battle groups – the singular symbol of American military power and prestige – from far outside the engagement envelope of those same assets.
When we add up all of these factors, we see that the prospects of peace coming out of Hungary are slim to none.
To me, this is the last chance that America has to find some sort of modus vivendi with the Russians. Once the Budapest summit fails – which I fully expect it to do, just as the Alaska summit did, thanks to Drumpf’s inconsistency and lack of strategy, and his infuriating insistence on listening to the Europeans instead of his own instincts – then the Russians will have to find a way to win the war outright. They are already doing this. But the blow to The Putin’s power and prestige will be severe.
He will survive it. He always does. One does not stay the leader of a Great Power as complex and dynamic as Russia, without having extraordinary political and negotiation skills. There is no doubt in my mind that the Neo-Tsar will win the war in Ukraine, one way or another.
Whether he will be able to find a way to preserve some kind of relationship with the FUSA, is an entirely different question.
From the Russian point of view, there is no need for such a thing. The Russian people are heartily sick of dealing with what they see (correctly) as treacherous, inconstant, and totally untrustworthy American elites. From their perspective, the 300-year-long Russian policy of facing the West, and trying to be a Western power, is OVER, conclusively and totally. Their priority is now the Asian landmass – and Russia is definitely an Asian superpower. It will develop its relationship with China and India, trading its energy for hard currency that will fund its rapid development into a wealthy, technologically advanced nation.
All this leaves us with the undeniable reality of the collapse of American power. The American Empire is definitively in its final plunge to oblivion. All we see now, is the twitching and juddering of a gigantic corpse, which is still receiving impulses from a rapidly rotting brain.
If Angry Short Trump had even the sense that God gave a honey badger (and assuming that actually IS the real Trump), he would have walked away from the whole mess in Ukraine back in February. Instead, he chose to make this his war. Now, he will be responsible for its catastrophic failure.
And now, taking a page straight from Drumpf – Thank You For Your Attention In This Matter!
