This past week has been both quiet and rather miserable for me, because, as I may have mentioned a few times, I’ve been quite ill. I came down with something last Wednesday, after a long period of intense travelling and fairly high stress – though most of that came from planning and executing various things, I actually remember having a lot of fun for the past 6 weeks. It quickly became clear to me that whatever bug had taken hold, was in fact rather more serious than I realised, but getting to see a doctor around here is a colossal pain the arse these days, so it took a while for me to face up to the need to do so.
I had to get to the point where my strep-throat got really bad, and turned into actual conjunctivitis in my left eye, before I finally managed to secure a doctor’s appointment and snagged some antibiotics. They do seem to be working, slowly, but I ended up looking like this for the last couple of days:
Quite possibly even worse, actually.
Let us hope, then, that I will soon be on the mend, for I can assure you, being down with whatever virulent plague I have, is NOT fun.
Nonetheless, in between sleeping and downing pills like Skittles, as you can see, I have kept myself somewhat busy with various things. The Banderastan War, in particular, appears to be reaching a sort of crescendo in a symphony of destruction. Bakhmut is effectively encircled, and all of the Banderite troops there will either surrender or die. The Wagner ORKestra boys have done a tremendous job over the last 6 months to destroy Ukraine’s ability to fight, and I am now seeing unconfirmed, though in my view potentially credible, rumours that Ukrainian casualties are far worse than even the most terrible estimates.
Today, I saw numbers flying around on Telegram, based (apparently) on a CNN report, in which the Ukrainian General Staff admits, in secret, to losing 259K men dead, and 247K seriously injured or crippled, with another 84K captured or deserted.
As far as I am concerned, for the moment, this is only a rumour, and I give it very limited credibility. Russian analysts reckon the Ukrainians have lost anywhere between 150K and 210K dead, and up to 300K wounded. Those CNN numbers, if true, represent the complete destruction of not one, but two Ukrainian armies, with the wholesale slaughter of a third well underway.
All of this MAFF simply underscores the point I have been making for months now:
Ukraine has already lost this war. The battles going on right now are horrific collateral damage before the guaranteed and inevitable end.
As I have also said before, we must always remember that Ukraine is merely the opening salvo of WWIII (or WWIV, take your pick). The Western elites will not accept their defeat in the slaughter-pens of Donbass, and will continue to push for some way to destroy Russia before moving on to China. This could go nuclear very easily – God have mercy on us all if it does.
But I do not think it will, not yet, because we are still waiting for the Russian and Chinese countermoves. I do not doubt the Chinese have taken on some hard lessons from watching the Russians confront NATO and weather unprecedented sanctions. The CPC knows China is next up in the neoclown cross-hairs. Whatever their problems – and they have MANY – the CPC senior leaders are not stupid, and President Xi Jinping is one of the most intelligent and capable politicians anywhere in the world today. They will take whatever steps are necessary – up to and including preemptive military action – to push the USSA out of the South China Sea, and secure their near-periphery in Asia.
The world that existed on Feb 23, 2022, is dead and gone. We are never going back to it. The future truly is multipolar, and what we are seeing now is the collapsing and shifting of the old Western-centric order, in favour of a new Eurasian order. That is where the money and power will flow for the next 50 years at least, while the West continues its headlong plunge into the abyss.
And on that rather happy note, let us get to the real reason why you are here – for it is, of course, Friday, and that means a lovely lady to close out the week.
