Things are slowly – VERY slowly – returning back to normal around this here patch of rants and tumbleweeds. I went straight from vacation mode to long and grinding hours at work, with virtually zero adjustment time, and that was NOT fun. Fortunately, things have quietened down sufficiently to allow for actual time to think. And there is much to think about, of late.
The world has become far more dangerous in just the past few weeks. The Persian Gulf crisis has flared up again, because apparently Donny-Boy cannot stand to be seen as a loser – even though he is – and has decided to start bombing Iran again. This is as stupid as it is predictable. The best-informed and smartest analysts on the subject, almost uniformly argued that the so-called Memorandum of Understanding was nothing more than a fig-leaf to permit the ‘Murkins to rest, rearm, refit, repair, and regroup.
None of that changes the outcome: the MoU represented a devastating tactical defeat for the Evil Empire, and it is now out for blood and vengeance.
That is why Drumpf is now telling everyone that he will bomb Iran’s bridges and power plants, until they submit to his demands.
The problem is, of course, that the Iranians have total “escalation dominance” in the region, to use an Odumbass-ism. They, and not the US, have full stockpiles of missiles. They, and not the US, have the ability to wipe out every water desalination plant, oil well, and gas liquefaction point, in the region. They, and not the US, have the ability to sustain their military operations almost indefinitely – because they, and not the US, have the entire Eurasian landmass behind them to provide supply lines, most critically to China and Russia.
This is not a war the US can win. Continuing down this road will simply result in another spectacular, far greater, defeat – this time at the operational level.
If the Americans continue to escalate, this will eventually result in a strategic-level defeat, where the US is literally pushed out of the Middle East ENTIRELY, and its military power is completely and irreversibly exposed as feeble and impotent.
When – not if – that happens, the collapse of the American Empire will take place. At that point, there is no telling what could happen; the amount of chaos and bloodshed that will result, is simply incalculable.
And Ornj Boi will be the President who made it happen. He will have gone from the greatest President since Andrew Jackson, to the greatest failure in American history.
Perhaps he recognises this, or perhaps he does not. I have no idea. But with the death of the “war-whisperer”, Lady Gay-for-War Graham, maybe – just maybe – there might be room for a bit of sanity to creep back into whatever is left of the Orangetan’s mind.
Anyway – we do have quite a bit of catching up to do. By my calculations, it has been 5 weeks since the last instalment of this much-beloved series, which means we are going to have to double up things for this week, and the next 2, until we catch up.
Truly, truly, I say unto you: this is hard work, y’all.
So let us start catching up with the first double-header.
First up, we have Zoe Hackenberg, about whom very little is known, other than that she appears to be ‘Murkin.
And next, we have Anna Kovenkova (Анна Ковенкова), age 20 (supposedly) from Mordor. (She looks significantly older, but given how much warpaint models use these days, it is hard to say.) Apparently, she is a genuine model who participates in beauty pageants, and won the title of “Miss Tourism Russia” – whatever that means – in 2025, plus “Queen of Eurasia” in the same year.
Hell if I know what any of that means, but she does the “Slavic Bitch Face” thing to perfection.
