The Black Sea is a part of the world that most people in the West are not terribly familiar with, unless they happen to have spent some time in Bulgaria, Turkey, or the other bits of the eastern Mediterranean. It is, of course, a very historic area, and served as a major focus for trade (and conflict) for many centuries. You can go all the way back to Roman and Greek times to see how the various civilisations of the region fought over that part of the world, and especially for control over access between the Black Sea itself and the rest of the Mediterranean.
Today, the Black Sea is the focal point of the conflict between Russia and the collective West, with 404 – Country Not Found playing the part of the unwitting (and increasingly unwilling) cannon fodder being fed straight into the Russian meat-grinder. The war between the two blocs has escalated rapidly in the past few weeks, as the West realises it is losing. These days, Ukraine is using drones to attack civilian commercial warehouses in western Russia, which generates a lot of impressive explosions and breathless headlines among the whore-media set.
These attacks do inflict real pain on the Russian economy – of that, there can be no doubt. The massive Ukrainian drone and missile attack on Wildberries, a Russian analogue of Amazon, only better in many respects, is a good example of this. The cost of that attack on Wildberries itself is probably over a billion dollars in lost revenue and damages, and dozens, if not hundreds, of Russian small businesses are now facing ruin because Ukraine decided to attack explicitly civilian infrastructure.
But this is as nothing compared to the extreme pain the Russians are inflicting in return. Ukraine’s ports along the Black Sea coast are effectively now blockaded. Maersk has refused to allow its ships to dock anywhere near Odessa, because the Russian Black Sea Fleet is merrily ploinking any cargo ships that go to that part of Ukraine with drones and missiles.
This is the same Black Sea Fleet, by the way, that Ukraine boasts of turning into submarines sitting at the bottom of the sea itself. One should not take Ukrainians seriously when they talk about such things; these are many of the same people that would have you believe their ancestors dug the Black Sea itself out of the ground, and used the soil and rocks from the seabed to make the Caucasus Mountains.
I am not making that up. They teach shit like that in Ukrainian schools these days, in a desperate effort to create a national mythos of a great and ancient “Ukrainian civilisation” that far predated the Russian one. You can find textbooks, used in Ukrainian schools, written in the largely made-up Ukrainian language, that claim that Achilles and Hercules and Alexander the Great were Ukrainians.
Meanwhile, Ukraine itself is collapsing at an alarming rate. Its own authorities admit there are perhaps 22-25 million people left in the entire country. Deaths outstrip births at a rate of 4 to 1. Of the 20 or so million people who are left, fully HALF are pensioners – desperate, poor, struggling to make ends meet, and unable to feed and warm themselves in a time of rapidly rising inflation and food shortages caused by massive Russian strikes on Ukrainian energy and transportation infrastructure.
This is the sad reality of Ukraine today. The Narcofuehrer, the Green Goblin, the Crackhead Clown who claims to lead the country – but is in fact an illegitimate cocaine-snorting puppet propped up entirely by the West – argues that his strategy of striking Russia with huge waves of drones, is going to force the Russians to sue for peace.
He, and his Western backers, plainly have absolutely no clue what Russians are really like.
These are a people who have spent the past THOUSAND YEARS at war with enemies who want them all dead. Whether it was the Avars, the Tatars, the Mongols, the Teutonic Knights who wanted to force Russia to become Catholic, the Prussians, the Swedes, the French, the Japanese, the British, or the Germans, Russia has fought every last one of its enemies to a standstill – and then crushed them.
It is simply NOT POSSIBLE to defeat a united nation like Russia, once its people come together and decide that they will no longer be pushed. A country like that, with its immense resources and clear sense of national identity, will not suffer a moral defeat.
And the Russian people are, indeed, united. There are really no liberal oppositionists left. The sentiments in Russia range from, “let’s end the war as soon as possible – but with a Russian victory”, to, “let’s raze London, Berlin, and Paris to the ground, and leave those European degenerates with not even so much as candles to light their homes, so they never threaten us again”. THAT is the “Overton Window” in Russia right now.
It should serve as a dire warning to the West that the only true moderate in the entire Russian hierarchy, is the guy at the top, the Neo-Tsar. And even he has been hardening his rhetoric of late.
The bottom line is that Russia cannot be defeated in this war. Ukraine has lost. The West has lost. But the collective West seems desperate to carry on this insanity to its final conclusion – because, apparently, the cost of recognising its defeat is so severe that it cannot allow itself to do so.
Anyway – we are still in catch-up mode right now with respect to the Friday Instathots, so let us carry on with that aspect. We have another twofer as a result.
First up, we have Shelby Green, age 26, from ‘Straya – where, as always, we are legally required to point out that LITERALLY EVERYTHING WANTS TO KILL YOU AND EAT YOUR EYEBALLS FOR JUJUBEES!!!!!!, especially the local sheilas. She is a model who does… modelling things.
And second, we have Ksenia Dorokhova (Ксения Дорохова), age not quite known but probably early thirties, from Chelyabinsk, in the Ural mountains of Mordor. She gained “fame”, if that is the word, from appearing in some sort of advertisement for the “Black Star Burger” chain owned by Russian rapper and entrepreneur Timati – the same one who picked up McDonald’s and Starbuck’s assets in Russia for literal pennies on the dollar when they left Mordor after the start of the SMO, and who now operates them better and more efficiently as Вкусно и Точка (“Just Tasty”, or “Tasty and That’s It”) and Starz Coffee.
