About a month ago, while most of us were slowly slipping into holiday mode, the EUSSR decided to slap personal SANKSHUNS on one Col. Jacques Baud. As of Dec 15 2025, Col. Baud is unable to access his bank accounts in the EU, and is therefore unable to get paid for his appearances on TV shows or media outlets, or for his books. Though a Swiss national, Col. Baud lives in Belgium, with his family, which means he falls under YURPEEN jurisdiction.

What, exactly, was his “crime”?

It was his refusal to slavishly repeat the idiotic and unbelievably dumb line that the YURPEEN elites keep stating about MUH RUSHIAN AGGRESHUN against 404 – Country Not Found. The only thing that Col. Baud did, was to point out the realities on the battlefield, and state bluntly that Ukraine is losing the war.

Longtime Readers may recognise Col. Baud’s name from my glowing review of his 2024 book, The Russian Art of War. In that book, Col. Baud committed the cardinal sin (according to the Euzis) of stating that the Russian “occupation” of Crimea was nothing of the sort. Instead, he told the truth – that of the 22,000 or so “Ukrainian” soldiers stationed on Crimea, especially around the Sevastopol’ naval base, about 20,000 of them simply turned their coats and became “Russian” overnight.

Why?

Because, as Col. Baud pointed out, these men were originally from Crimea itself – a peninsula conquered by Russia under Empress Catherine the Great in the late 18th Century, and heavily developed and populated by the Russians. The people of Crimea have always thought of themselves as Russians ever since that point. Back when Ukraine declared independence from the USSR, the Crimean Peninsula itself voted to become an independent socialist republic – and then voted again in 1994 to become an independent, Russian-friendly republic.

The simple fact is that Crimea was NEVER historically part of any country called Ukraine. The Crimean peninsula was for two centuries a part of Russia, and was only given away to the Ukrainian SSR by Nikita Krushchyov as, essentially, part of a drunken “measuring” contest with his other Ukrainian buddies in the early 1950s.

For the “crime” of pointing out these facts, Col. Baud is now SANKSHUNNED.

This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS on every possible level. It is utterly a crime to punish one man for the simple act of telling the truth. Col. Baud is suffering simply because he refuses to be cowed and beaten by a system that hates truth-tellers.

The EU has become worse, by far, than the USSR ever was. As bad and broken as the USSR was, and as repressive as it was, at least the USSR did not permit mass migration, especially from Radical Izzlamist F***wit nations and groups. And the USSR, for all of its colossal problems, was actually less repressive of speech than the EU has become.

In the USSR, you could get access to and distribute certain Western publications, at least after the death of Stalin. And that became much more true during the final years of the Evil Empire. There is no question that is was EVIL, at a fundamental level, because it denied the basic humanity of the individual, and refused to countenance the notion that God created Man in His image, as a functional substitute for His presence on Earth.

But the EU is far, FAR worse.

The USSR at least recognised the validity and importance of individual national identities. Within the USSR, you could be a Russian, an Azerbaijani, a Turkmen, a Tadjik, an Uzbek, a Ukrainian, and so on and so forth, across over 190 different historically rooted ethnic and religious identities. But in the EUSSR, they want to deny the power and value of national identity. They want to subsume the entire concept of identity under one gigantic European superstate, where national borders and sovereignty do not exist.

And, as far as the satraps of the EU are concerned, if they trample over individual rights, then that is fine with them.

The sanctioning of Col. Baud is illegal on every possible level. He has never participated in interviews with official Russian media – despite the allegations against him. He has simply gone on YouTube and various independent, non-Western (but also non-Russian) media outlets, and given his objective opinion.

He is not everyone’s cup of tea – I find him rather long-winded at times on certain subjects. (Yes, I know, pot, meet kettle, etc.) But he has a superb analytical mind, and a long and distinguished record of honourable military service, both in the Swiss military, and then in the broader NATO infrastructure.

And for his troubles and service, his own government and people have abandoned him.

If ever there was a greater indictment of the moral cowardice, ineptitude, and total lack of humanity of the Swiss government, this, right here, is it. There is NO VALUE to Swiss citizenship – and that is on top of the fact that the Swiss are some of the rudest and most arrogant people I have ever met. (Col. Baud appears to be something of an exception to this rule – in all of his public appearances, he comes across as an erudite and cultured gentleman.)

The case of Col. Baud also demonstrates the total moral bankruptcy of the EU itself. This is not an organisation that defends human rights or freedoms, or which obeys a “rules-based international order” of any kind. The “rules” are whatever the hell a bunch of Euzis say they are, which changes from day to day.

If you live in the EU (or in Switzerland, for that matter), you need to understand something:

This will only get worse. The crackdown on anything resembling truth and dissent will only intensify, until the evil empire based in Brussels and Strasbourg finally collapses – which it will probably do within a decade or so. But until then, if you live in the EUSSR territories, you MUST resist, in any way that you can.

All I can say is that Col. Baud is suffering for telling the truth – just like many of us are. We cannot speak freely in the West, for fear of reprisal. We cannot easily travel to and from Russia or tell the truth about the realities of Russia, because if we do, we will be punished.

Support Col. Baud. Buy his books. Spread the message that he is trying to tell – that the combined West is LOSING against Russia, and must seek a negotiated settlement before all Hell breaks loose.
