Recent footage of American Patriot PAC-3 air “defence” missile systems “working” to “defend” Queef against Russian missiles in the Banderastan War has emerged, and is forcing some very serious questions about the effectiveness and efficiency of the missile systems themselves.
(The image for this poast comes to us courtesy of our resident Kraut, MK, LRFotS and all-round 1337-level shitposter over on my Telegram channel, who does a splendid job of coming up with absolutely impossible-to-pronounce German compound words.)
Here is a video of a recent strike by the Russian Aerospace Forces, apparently using at least one Kindzhal missile, against a hardened position somewhere near Queef. The footage shows the khokhols firing off something like 30 Patriot AD missiles in the space of two minutes, which by some estimates comes to like US$160M in hardware launched to absolutely no effect:
Because Ukrainians can’t MAFF anymore, though, they seem to be unable to understand basic physics – particularly the principle of, “What Goes Up… DOGGONE WELL COMES BACK DOWN!!!”:
Whoever was in that car, must have had some pretty darn strong juju handy, or at least a St. Christopher’s medallion.
With respect to the Kindzhal (Кинжал – there is no “d” in the Cyrillic word, as it happens), or “dagger”, if you try to figure out what the heck it is, you will find a whole mass of confusion about it, at least in Western websites and YouTube channels.
There are videos floating around online, purporting to be of the very first Kindzhal launches used in anger against Ukrainian targets. This one dates back to March last year, from right around the time of a massive Russian strike against the Ukrainian-NATO training base at Yavorov, not far from the Ukrainian border with Poland, which apparently resulted in over 300 dead, with NATO officers among them:
Supposedly, this was the result:
I have my doubts that the Russians used a Kindzhal for that one, because if they had, there would have been nothing left but a giant crater in the ground. And, unfortunately, this is the reality of trying to figure out anything much about the Kindzhal itself. You will find masses of contradictory information about it – among the more ridiculous claims are that Ukraine routinely shoots these things down.
One of the worst, and stupidest, of the Western-dominated channels, “Sandboxx”, insists the Kindzhal is nothing more than hype, the Russians have no “unstoppable” missile systems, and Ukrainian-manned PATRIOT PAC-3 systems were in fact able to successfully intercept no less than six (!!!) Kindzhal missiles.
In other words, that channel buys hook, line, and sinker into Ukie propaganda and bullshit about their own military prowess.
Keep in mind, though, these are the same Banderite sources that have routinely lied at every turn, every single day, throughout the past 15 months of the SMO. At this point, the only guarantee you have about Ukrainians, is that they lie every time they open their mouths – which is not, it must be said, a particularly fun starting point for dealing with anyone.
The reality of the Kindzhal is much harder to ascertain, but it does appear to be something of an evolution of the Iskander ground-based missile system:
The Kinzhal was developed as an air launched derivative of the 9M723 missiles from the Iskander-M ballistic missile system, and addressed the Iskander’s limited range due to the restrictions of the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty – which notably applied only to ground launched missiles and not to those launched from the air or sea. The Iskander is limited to a 500km engagement range, while the Kinzhal can engage targets 2000km away. Both missiles are prized for their quasi ballistic terminal speeds of close to Mach 9, as well as their high manoeuvrability and low altitude trajectories which makes them extremely difficult to track, intercept and at times challenging to even detect during flight. Increasing production of Kinzhal missiles could be relatively straightforward for Russia’s defence sector due to the sheer numbers of 9M723 missiles it has been able to produce consistently for close to two decades, with Iskander-M systems entering service faster than any other large ground based weapons system other than S-400 air defence systems due to its perceived asymmetric value.
Does it actually work, though?
The evidence we have in front of us, tells us very clearly that the Russians have an unassailable lead in the prototyping, testing, and production of true hypersonic glide vehicles and cruise missiles.
They already have an air-breathing hypersonic cruise missile, the Tsirkon, which they have successfully tested, and which can PLOINK American supercarriers at ranges of 2,000Km. They are deploying those same missiles on their nuclear attack submarines, frigates, cruisers, and destroyers, and are coming up with smaller cut-down versions for their missile boats. This, in essence, completely tilts the balance of power in Russia’s favour, because no supercarrier group can come anywhere close to Russia without being destroyed wholesale at long range.
Assuming the Russians are telling the truth about their Kindzhal – and, on balance, I think they generally are, given the evidence in front of us – then we can be sure of one thing:
The US Patriot system’s reputation is going to suffer the same devastation that all other American wunderwaffen have in this war.
We already know, from the Saudi experience using Patriots, that they cannot stop Iranian subsonic drones:
So where is the evidence they can stop Russian Kindzhals? Nowhere, except in the febrile minds of lying Ukrainians – and the utterly gullible, innumerate, and amazingly stupid presstitutes that dutifully report back every single lie the khokhols utter.
Also, it is worth noting that the Russian Ministry of Defence finds Ukrainian claims about numbers of Russian missile launches to be amusingly overblown. This is in response to the endless Ukrainian claims about seeing 70 Russian missiles and drones coming at them, and shooting down 80 of them (I am only half-joking).
Of course, it is important to remember that, in fact, Ukraine DOES have an absolute 100% success record when intercepting Russian missile, drone, and air attacks. They certainly DO take out every last Russian projectile. What they forget to tell you, though, is that they achieve this feat by slamming their own infrastructure objects into Russian missiles – such as power plants, substations, logistics centres, ammo dumps, and so on.
There is a growing sense, based on the data coming in from the Banderastan War, that something very, very big is coming on the Ukrainian side – essentially, an assault launched in desperation, at the demand of the Western Clown World masters who have poured vast quantities of weapons and money into Ukraine, and who want and need to see a return on their investment. That is why you get videos of loathsome cretins like Sen. Lindsey Graham, almost surely a closeted homosexual and an absolutely disgusting human being by almost any reasonable measure, claiming that aid to Ukraine is “the best money we’ve ever spent”:
It is worth noting that Sen. Graham refuted the claim that he is pleased about Russians dying based on American money, and claims the video itself was edited to make him look bad. The problem here is, the video is from the khokhols themselves. They made it, and released it.
With friends like Ukrainians…
The overall sense I get from reading Russian and independent commentary on the upcoming Ukrainian “offensive”, though, is that the Russians are aware of everything going on, and are eagerly awaiting the upcoming clash. They WANT the Ukrainians to run straight toward Russian defences, impale themselves on them – as they have done repeatedly in this war – and then launch their own offensive to destroy whatever is left of the Ukrainian army.
This, they will almost certainly have to do.
It is vital to remember that one of Russia’s key aims in this war is to de-Nazify Ukraine. This can only happen by destroying outright the remaining “hardcores” and ideologically committed neo-Nazis within the Ukrainian military. There are anywhere between 50K and 100K of those still left, though the Ukrainian military itself has been essentially bled white of experienced men and skilled officers by this point.
Those are the forces Russia must destroy, to achieve its final objectives.
In summary, then, look forward to more Russian daggers smashing into Ukrainian bunkers over the coming days – and look forward to yet more Ukie nonsense and propaganda about their glorious American air defence stopping all incoming missiles, only to go running and begging ever more desperately for ever more weapons.
The people profiting from this war are really the folks at Raytheon and Lockheed Martin – and yet, those same people are seeing the reputations of their wunderwaffen being steadily eroded, as the Russians run the world’s biggest and most effective disarmament and weapons recycling programme in human history.
