Today marks the 78th anniversary of the day on which the USSR declared victory over Nazi Germany, having fought all the way back from the very brink of defeat, to the storming of Berlin. It is an extremely important day for Russians everywhere, and is one of the most important holidays for the FSU nations.
The reason why is simple:
NO OTHER NATION sacrificed as much during WWII as Russia did.
The numbers are horrifying. At least 20 MILLION Russians died – from bullets, artillery shelling, mass murder, being burned alive, starvation, disease, and all manner of terrible ends. A further 7 million citizens from the other Soviet republics died in various, equally dreadful, ways. Roughly 25% of the population of Belarus, and perhaps 15% of the population of (the nation formerly known as) Ukraine, died outright – neither has EVER recovered from it.
Over a million people died, most of them of starvation, during the nearly 900-day-long Siege of Leningrad. Among them, by the way, was the older brother of one Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who was born in 1952. His older brother, Viktor, died of diptheria and starvation. The rest of Putin’s family was not spared, either. Five of his father’s six brothers died in that war, as did many of his mother’s relatives.
This story is NORMAL for Russians of that generation.
Virtually EVERY SINGLE FAMILY in Russia lost someone, at some level. Nearly every single man, woman, and child living in Russia today, who can trace his or her lineage back to that time, comes from those who survived the most horrific war Man has ever fought.
Do you now understand what it means to Russians, to acknowledge those who died?
And they won that war, by the way.
Let us be under no illusions about this fact. While the other Allied forces fought with great heroism and bravery – and hundreds of thousands of them died – there is simply NO comparison between the sheer scale of the casualties suffered by the Red Army, and the other Allied forces.
It is worth remembering that the USA, which did a very great deal to win WWII, and whose soldiers fought with nobility and honour, lost roughly 420,000 dead – military and civilian – in WWII. That is comparable with the number of Russian dead in EACH of the five bloodiest battles of the Eastern Front.
This is why May 9th is practically sacred for Russians – because the memory of their dead is sacred. They know and understand what it cost them to have their unique civilisation-country. They will defend it – and they are defending it, today.
Right now, Russia is fighting the entire combined weight of the whole Western world in the slaughter-pens of Banderastan. They are winning. But they do not hate Westerners – they simply hate the ideology the West represents and supports. They will not listen to Westerners who preach GloboHomoPaedoPharisatanism, and who demand the subjugation of other peoples to their whims. They care nothing for the Western creed of sending men to die in foreign lands so that trannies can fiddle children and faggots can have endless buttsecks.
The Russians find such “Western values” absolutely disgusting and repellent, and want nothing to do with them. The rest of the world, outside the illiberal West, certainly shares that opinion. That is why the Russians will win.
So, to the Russians, I say this:
Поздравляю вас, за вашу победу в Великой Отечественной Войне! Вечная память солдатам, кто погибли за свободу Запада и Европы! Мы гордимся, мы никогда не забудем жертвы ваших отцов и дедов. Спасибо вам огромное, и спасибо ваших солдатах, кто воевают в Украине, против фашизма, в сегоднящем дне. Ваши предки были бы гордиться.

The Cultural Disconnect of ‘the West’ with Russia (and now a lot of its Allies in the rest of the World) is the real Danger that we (in the FUSSA) are facing. Even so-called ‘conservatives’ who would otherwise find a Common Cause with Russia and its people, against Globohomo, inc., have been so Completely Brainwashed by the zionist neocons and their ‘media’ that they believe the “Putin is Literally Hitler” and that the ukronazis in banderistan are Defeating the Red Army every Day….
As much as a lot of people here "Think" there is something Seriously Wrong with the 'government' of the FUSSA, they still Do Not, Can Not, and Must Not 'identify the enemy'. This is just the Opposite in Russia - Russians, and the rest of the Nations in the Russian Federation know Exactly who they are Fighting against. President Putin, at the May 9th Parade, stated directly that "Russia is At War" against those who would Destroy it - I wonder if this wasn't a not-subtle Hint to the Congress that it is Time for a Declaration of War to be Voted Up.If it does come to Open Warfare, I suspect that the Places that will get an Avangard Glider Shell are Not the ones most people might Expect....
