The first week of 2023 has passed us by, and it has already been an eventful one. Before I proceed further, may I wish my Russian Orthodox brethren a very happy Christmas – С Рождеством к моих Русских православных братьям! Поздравляю вас, верующие друзья! С миром и силой!
This year is going to be an eventful and very challenging one. If you thought 2022 was difficult, I assure you, 2023 will be much harder. The reasons are simple. The Western powers have failed utterly to learn the lessons of the past year, and continue to escalate their provocations in the Banderastan War. They will not change the overall outcome, since Russia has everything it needs to continue feeding in resources and men to overwhelm NATO, while killing off Ukrainian and, increasingly, NATO soldiers in vast numbers.
This is a war the West cannot win. It does not have the energy resources, manufacturing base, financial strength, people, or tolerance for casualties that Russia does. Nor does it have the moral high ground – it never did, but, at least at the beginning of the 404 War, the Western media got away with portraying the Russians as blatant and brutal aggressors. The rest of the world no longer buys this nonsense narrative, though, and increasingly, the war-weary populations of Europe are voicing their frustration and irritation with the endless sacrifices their governing elites demand of them for a war that has nothing to do with them.
The West desperately tries to censor the realities of the 404th UkReich – the fact that it is run by literal neo-Nazies, the endemic and staggering corruption of the place, the relentless strikes against civilian targets by Ukrainian soldiers using Western weapons, and so on and so forth, ad nauseam. But the truth will get out eventually – it always does.
Sites and Telegram channels like mine are pushing the actual reality of this war out, and the truth is already getting out there. Sooner or later, support for this war will collapse, and so will Ukraine.
And then, the real challenges begin.
Europe will get through this winter – barely. It will not survive the next one – not without cheap and plentiful Russian energy, which the Europeans have wilfully removed from their economies through their own insane sanctions. Those acts of economic suicide have done little, if anything, to hurt the Russian economy, which has experienced a cushioned shock and is now returning to growth.
But the West is collapsing economically, morally, and spiritually.
All of this represents a substantial and severe test for us. This is very much to the good.
It is good for us to test ourselves, and force ourselves out of our comfort zones. This is necessary and right. We have spent far too long in comfort and ease, and it has made us soft and weak. It is well past time for us to pick up our swords and fight back against the forces of the Evil One, which now threaten to overwhelm us.
We are surrounded on all sides by moral and spiritual insanity, and we face truly terrible odds.
Which means we have them right where we want them.
Therefore, fear not, brothers, and press ahead. Do not be unduly burdened when you find yourself tested and hard-pressed. Carry on regardless, and march full steam ahead.
