A few years back, our good friend The Male Brain brought an internet flame-war to my attention that I thought merited its own post. Normally, I could not care less about such silliness. But the flame-war in question concerned a man who used to be a pretty big deal in the Manosphere, named Blackdragon (real name: Caleb Jones).

Essentially, the kerfuffle involved Nick Krauser, a daygame specialist who loves to approach women on the streets of various cities and get into their pants, and Blackdragon, who – back when I listened to him on various subjects related to dating and lifestyle, which was quite a long time ago – specialised in online game. He wrote a long book about how to get dates and have sex with women online, which I bought at the time.

However, when I tried to put his material into practice, I ran into a huge problem:

Most of the women on those sites were uglier than the wrong end of a dog.

Worse, I got no positive responses, at all, from the women that I did message. The responses that I did get were entirely negative. So after a few months of trying, I gave up on it and tried meeting actual women in the real world.

(This, unsurprisingly, did get me somewhere – though not very far.)

I put down my lack of any discernible results – I had literally a ZERO percent success rate in terms for going on 8 months – to the fact that I am VERY obviously a non-White chap who happens to like White and Asian girls, and in online dating, at least in Western countries, this does not work well. Women in the USA and the UK typically do not like to be approached online by those who are not of their own race.

(Interestingly, the same does not appear to be true of Eastern Europeans – I and other non-Whites have gone over to Eastern Europe and managed to go on dates with attractive women from those countries with relative ease. I do not know why this is the case, but it is so.)

While I wasn’t entirely convinced by Blackdragon’s whole “Alpha Male 2.0” lifestyle shtick, I was willing to give him a shot, because he seemed to know what he was talking about. I assumed that my lack of results was pretty normal and natural, given my overall lack of experience (and, to be honest, interest) in dealing with women at the time.

But, over the years, as I drifted away from the standard “get ripped, get rich, get laid” hedonistic side of the Manosphere and over toward the fighting side that is all about raising black flags and slitting throats (metaphorically speaking – though it is becoming more literal by the day), I realised that Blackdragon’s ideas and philosophies have massive flaws.

Enter Nick Krauser, who basically took a sledgehammer and a chainsaw to Blackdragon’s entire philosophy in his rather incendiary February 2019 article.

Blackdragon took to his site and posted what I thought at the time was a pretty dignified response. But this did not stop Krauser’s criticisms, which jumped up a notch or three in the next post.

You can go read for yourselves whatever you want about all of this. I posted my thoughts up at considerable length 2.5 years ago, and I see no reason to go back on anything that I wrote then.

But then, on a whim, I decided to go check out Krauser’s site again, just to see how he’s getting on, simply because he’d more or less renounced day game for a while and decided to go “monk mode”. I wanted to see what he was up to. And that was when I saw a post from back in May, when he linked to a video that you have to see to believe:

This is how Blackdragon described her back in 2016:

She’s blonde, trim, super hot, and what most men would consider a 9 or 10 unless you don’t like blonde white women. She’s small, which I like, and has big boobs, which I like, but she’s not quite as curvy as I’m typically used to. I’m not going to show you photos at this time so please don’t ask. Firefly and I understand that eventually pictures of her will leak out to the public and that’s fine, but as much as I’d love to brag, I’m not going to showcase her.

This, apparently, is what he means by “blonde, trim, super hot, and what most men would consider a 9 or 10”:

I realise and accept that beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder, but… DAMN, man.

The reality is that Blackdragon’s approach to life simply does not make sense for most men and is not a good idea. Whether you call it “Alpha Male 2.0” or polyamoury or polygamy, it simply comes down to blatant hedonism. This is not good for a man and should never, ever be encouraged as a lifestyle.

One of the reasons why you shouldn’t indulge in such a lifestyle is because it will distract you from what is Good, Beautiful, and True, and mislead you into thinking that something (or someone) is beautiful, when it (or she) plainly is not.
