In this latest episode of Didactic Mind, I look at the spread of Corona-chan and try to bring some sober, clear-headed analysis that cuts through the Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) that has been spread throughout the world by the mainstream (((media))) through increasingly sensationalised and panicked headlines:
One thing that I forgot to mention is that the “infection curve” in China has finally plateaued and gone from quadratic to logarithmic in shape. So we are likely looking at the tail end of infections at the point of origin, at least. It will be a few more months before things settle down in the rest of the world, though, so my advice to you remains the same: be aware, be cautious, and be prepared, but do not get unduly panicked or tense. This too shall pass, my friends.
