Legendary actor – and he really is a legend, I’ve seen several of his best films – James Woods was locked out of his Twatter account for posting a meme, of all things, that Twatter said (laughably) could possibly affect an election:

The meme itself is pretty funny, and actually quite effective.

Take a look at those horrible gloryhole faces. These three prize purple jellyfish – +50 internetz to whoever figures out that reference – are trying to show exuberance and enthusiasm. But those of us with a bit more emotional control see immediately that the actual expression conveyed is… fear.

Those three soyfaced bugmen are not happy. They are afraid. Deep down, they are terrified of their own weakness and cowardice.

And these are precisely the same kinds of men who would stay at home if their women told them to on election day.

These are the lowest of the lowly foot-soldiers of the Left. Their more militant cousins among the Pantyfag brigades are considerably nastier and more violent, but it turns out that it is not that hard to beat them like unwanted stepchildren. All we of the Hard Right have to do is… well, show up and stand firm.

Seriously. That’s it. Our friends have proven this several times in a number of confrontations with the Pantifas over the last two years. All we have to do is hold the line and respond only when attacked, and they immediately start running for protection from the very police that they hate so much.

(Just to be clear – we aren’t that crazy about the police either. The police are under no legal obligation whatsoever to protect anyone, and that has been a matter of established law for many years. And their increasingly militarised and heavy-handed tactics and training aren’t endearing themselves to us.)

Back on topic – it would seem that Mr. Woods’ tweet caused some serious flaming ass-pain for someone over in Corporate, for some reason, so the bugman in question decided to pull the stick out of his butt and try to beat the offender over the head with it.

So “@Jack”, or at least, Jack Dorsey’s minions within Twatter HQ, demanded that Mr. Woods delete the offending tweet and issue a groveling statement acknowledging that he had violated Twitter’s terms of service, in order to unlock his account and restore full user privileges.

What happened to Mr. Woods is copied line for line from The SJW Attack Survival Guide, originally created and published by our very own beloved and dreaded Supreme Dark Lord (PBUH).

To his great credit, Mr. Woods absolutely refused to back down and play ball with those demanding his head. Instead, he published an open letter to friends and supporters in which he pointed out a basic and eternal truth about the consequences of silencing those you disagree with:

I tried to find a text version of that letter but for some mysterious reason (*cough Panopticon cough*) it seems to have been memory-holed, for now. No matter, we still have screenshots.

My respect for Mr. Woods grew considerably, if that was even possible, after this. Not only is he an incredibly talented and extremely versatile actor, especially in villainous roles – compare and contrast his roles in films like the criminally (heh) underrated True Believer or Cop or The General’s Daughter with his turns in Casino, The Specialist, Ghosts of Mississippi, and even his animated work in Hercules – but he is a bona fide ladykiller too. The dude’s in his mid-seventies and he’s pulling 20-year-olds.

Yes, I know, it’s not very Christian to admire such men, but still – damn he’s good.

The problem with the silencing of Mr. Woods is transparent to anyone with two brain cells to rub together. Yes, it might feel good for Jack Dorsey and his merry band of progressive lunatics over at Twatter to ban and censor anyone who offends their precious liberaltardian sensibilities, but there are very real consequences for such behaviour.

The fact is that the Left always and everywhere ends up eating itself. The major weakness of a philosophy that views “progress” as its god is that the definition of what is progress constantly changes – and therefore anyone who does not keep up will inevitably be accused of holding back the progressive revolution, of not being one of the True Faithful.

Such an “apostate” is always quite stunned to discover that he is now an un-person, and is always shocked when the firing squads come for him – even though he was the one denouncing his neighbours for being insufficiently zealous just yesterday.

This is not a “bug” of organised progressive ideology. It is a key feature. It always has been, and it always will be, a feature of any philosophy that tries to divide the world by class and identity:

We didn’t want to have to resort to identity politics – but since we have no other choice, we will take identity politics right to their logical, and if necessary extremely bloody and violent, conclusions.)

As Paul Joseph Watson points out in his take on Mr. Woods’ banning and silencing, the Left has unleashed forces that it cannot possibly comprehend or control:

The Left’s rank hypocrisy is hilarious, but not at all surprising. They do not seem to understand that by booting out those that they do not like, they are simply exposing themselves ever more openly to the day that their own tactics are turned against them.

One way or another, Big Tech will fall. Either they will de-platform and thought-police themselves into irrelevance, or their monopolies will be investigated and broken up under antitrust laws, or they will eventually be replaced by platforms with far more sensible rules and codes of merit (not conduct).

Right now, of course, it is very hard to see any possible viable alternative to Twitter or Facebook or Google, but remember that 20 years ago it was really hard to see any alternative to Alta Vista or Yahoo! as search engines too. Google came along and changed all of that through highly innovative and extremely disruptive technology, but over 90% of their revenue and profit comes from their search algorithms and the advertising dollars that businesses and people pay to them.

I cannot claim to know what the future holds. I’m not that smart. But I do know two things.

First, Big Tech’s days are numbered. Every single one of the Silicon Valley “titans” that control so much of the world’s social media platforms and communications has serious vulnerabilities in multiple areas.

And second, the Left has decided to target and thought-police everyone they don’t like, which is fine and dandy. No use complaining about it, that is what they chose to do. But they should not be surprised or horrified when they start turning on and devouring their own, and they certainly should not be surprised when they start seeing themselves get fired and banned from their workplaces.

In fact, that is my advice for anyone reading this: find the employees in your organisations who are SJWs or Leftists, and throw them out. Fast, hard, without apologies or remorse.

That might seem harsh or unfair to you. I don’t care. It is a prophylactic measure designed specifically to stop your organisation from getting converged and losing focus on its primary function.

Remember: if you are going to do unto others, do it hard before they have a chance to do it to you.
