“We are Forerunners. Guardians of all that exists. The roots of the Galaxy have grown deep under our careful tending. Where there is life, the wisdom of our countless generations has saturated the soil. Our strength is a luminous sun, towards which all intelligence blossoms… And the impervious shelter, beneath which it has prospered.”

Friday T&A: Mordor Day Edition

by | Jun 12, 2026 | fat girl jihad | 0 comments

Somewhat to perhaps everyone’s amazement, this Friday poast actually arrived on a Friday for a change. I managed to get out of Purgatory – I mean, work – a little earlier than expected, after an extremely hectic week, so I am able to start catching up on other things, which is a nice change of pace. So before I go off and hit things with my fists and feet for fun, I figure we might as well get to some light entertainment on a Friday.

And actually, this is a rather important Friday, because it is Russia Day.

That’s right – June 12th is the Day of United Russia, or Russia Day, as it were, and it basically commemorates the Adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the RSFSR – which is a very typically longwinded Russian way of saying, “we declared independence and stopped being Godless filthy Commies”, from 1990. Russia in its modern incarnation has only existed as a separate state since 1990, though the Russian civilisation-state has roots going all the way back to 862 AD, and possibly even earlier than that. The Russians are not joking when they claim to have a thousand-year civilisation.

Nor are they kidding when they say they have been at war for almost all of that time. The Russian state has been fighting against the European powers, in various ways and incarnations, dating all the way back to the wars against the Byzantines in the 10th Century – which is what makes the conversion of the Kievan Rus’ to Orthodox Christianity, and their preservation of Orthodoxy ever since, all the more remarkable.

Which brings us to their current war with the entire combined West today.

Be in no doubt: the Russians are winning that war. They are slowly, carefully, methodically cleansing Donbass. It will not be long before Konstantinovka and its outlying towns fall, and then the Russians will be at the very doorstep of Slavyansk – the city at the western edge of Donetsk Region, where the original ethnic Russian uprising against the Western-backed, neo-fascist Euromaidan coup took place all the way back in 2014.

History has a long sweep in Mordor, and it also has a bad habit of rhyming. It will not be long before we see another such rhyme, in the form of a major crisis in Ukraine and the West, as everyone wakes up and realises that the Russians are, in fact, winning.

Anyway, all of that is for later. For now, here is the lovely lady of the week.

This here is Darya Beznoshchenko (Дарья Везощенко), age 21-ish, from Omsk, Mordor. She was a finalist in the Miss Russia 2023 contest, and with good reason. These days, she does… whatever it is models do, I guess.

Happy Friday, all.
