This past week has seen perhaps the single most consequential act of brazen stupidity in the history of postwar Europe. That is not hyperbole when you understand the consequences of what the unelected, unaccountable, incompetent, and blindingly stupid bureaucrats of the EU did.

I write, of course, of the decision by the European Union’s COREPER (Committee of Permanent Representatives), which is essentially a bureaucratic body of foreign policy representatives of the various EU governments, to invoke something called “Article 122” of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) to indefinitely freeze the assets of the Central Bank of Russia currently sitting in European accounts at Euroclear and other institutions.

The levels of duplicity and doublespeak involved in this so-called “freeze” are breathtaking, even for the Euroweenies. The “freeze” has been called “temporary” – yet, it is indefinite. The decision involved a completely new interpretation of Article 122 (1), the contents of which I show below:

1. Without prejudice to any other procedures provided for in the Treaties, the Council, on a proposal from the Commission, may decide, in a spirit of solidarity between Member States, upon the measures appropriate to the economic situation, in particular if severe difficulties arise in the supply of certain products, notably in the area of energy.

2. Where a Member State is in difficulties or is seriously threatened with severe difficulties caused by natural disasters or exceptional occurrences beyond its control, the Council, on a proposal from the Commission, may grant, under certain conditions, Union financial assistance to the Member State concerned. The President of the Council shall inform the European Parliament of the decision taken.

Essentially, COREPER used the excuse that the “unprovoked” war in Ukraine – which core EU member states, especially Germany and France, did everything possible to provoke, from 2014 onwards – has imposed significant economic hardships upon the European nations. Therefore, the EU is entitled to freeze Russia’s assets “indefinitely”, but “temporarily”.

To produce something this convoluted, one must resort to the kind of torture of language that, were it applied to a human being, would instantly violate the Geneva Conventions. (Another set of laws that the Europeans see fit to ignore whenever it suits them, of course.)

This is nothing more, and nothing less, than the straightforward seizure of Russia’s sovereign assets, without even the fig leaf of legal cover of any kind. Be it noted that, even in WWII, the Allied nations never confiscated either German or Japanese sovereign assets held in their banks and vaults, and that was in a situation involving actual outright legal declarations of war between the various parties. (Note that I refer here explicitly to SOVEREIGN ASSETS, not those held by private individuals – lest the nitnoids start getting uppity.)

On top of that, COREPER did this by completely bypassing the European Parliament (not that this would have made the slightest bit of difference) and the national assemblies of the various European nations. In other words, a set of unelected bureaucrats straight-up decided to steal Russia’s assets, even though Russia is not at war with Europe, and even though Europe has no interest in getting involved in such a war.

This whole episode simply exposes the sheer hypocrisy, ineptitude, and immorality of the whole European project, for all the world to see. I am ordinarily deeply contemptuous of the European governments (and of more than a few of their peoples, especially the French, whom I cannot abide), almost by default, because I see the entire EU structure as nothing more than a colossal grift and a scam that sucks money out of the various sovereign governments and treasuries, and sends it to the wallets of the least competent and most venal people you have ever seen.

But this particular move is not merely an act of theft – it is an act that will probably doom Europe to catastrophic decline.

The seizure implicitly confirms something that many commentators, like me, have suspected for a long time – that the Europeans are desperate to cover up the actual fact of the theft of Russia’s sovereign assets. In my view, and in the view of many others, the roughly US$250B or so of Russian central bank assets, now effectively impounded by the EUSSR, have already been plundered and appropriated and sent to 404 – Country Not Found.

This, by the way, is also largely the view of the Russian government.

Multiple commentators with sources in Russia have pointed this out – starting with Alexander Mercouris, and continuing on to the likes of Andrei Martyanov and Stanislav Krapivnik. The latter two are native Russians who have strong contacts in the Russian military, and the former has anonymous contacts in the Russian government. Much of the commentary in the alt-media has aligned around the view that the EUSSR has been quietly stealing the money from those sovereign assets for years, and funnelling it through the various NGOs, “charities”, and “aid agreements” with 404, to keep the grift going.

They can do this because the CBR’s assets sitting in Euroclear since early 2022 are (or were) largely in the form of Eurobonds – that is to say, debt instruments issued by the sovereign governments of the European nations, under the aegis of the EU, denominated in Euros – which have since matured and converted into cash. That cash sits in European bank accounts, under Euroclear’s control, gathering digital dust and real interest.

Now, back when the European leaders thought, in early 2023, that Queef actually had a fighting chance in the war, they were giddy and euphoric over the prospects of using those CBR assets as a form of reparations. The idea was that 404 would annihilate what was left of the Russian Army in southern Donbass, via what we now call the Khlearly Khatastrophic Khalamitous Khollapsed Khreat Khokholite Khumvee Khounteroffensive – which is to say, the totally disastrous summer offensive launched by Ukraine.

The theory was that, once Ukraine swept the Russian Army away, cut the land bridge to Crimea, and then rolled into the peninsula itself, this would force the Russians to negotiate an end to the war as losers. The Europeans expected that Russia would have to accept extremely harsh and punitive terms, paying reparations to Europe, with its entire leadership class, starting with President Putin himself, standing trial in The Hague for war crimes. And those same Eurocrats thought they could enrich themselves off the Russian assets, by doling out reparations money to Queef – with, of course, healthy skimming and kick-backs for “services rendered” out of Brussels, Paris, and Berlin.

Things worked out rather differently, as we now know perfectly well.

The Ukrainian Offensive impaled itself on what was then known (incorrectly, as it turns out) as “the Surovikin Line”. In point of fact, those multilayered, extremely dense, lethal deathtraps that destroyed something close toONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THOUSAND of Ukraine’s best troops, were the brainchild of one Russian Lieutenant-General Yuriy Mikhailovitch Stavitskiy, who showed the world just how good the Russian understanding of attrition warfare and deep battle really is.

The Ukraine War should have ended then and there, in October 2023, once it became clear that there was no way for Ukraine to win. Instead, the khokhols have submitted themselves to another 2 years of agony, losing a total of at least 1.5 MILLION men in total, and probably much more.

In doing so, they have chewed through untold billions in cash, in the form of weapons and supplies from Europe and the FUSA. And, as long as the FUSA was providing the bulk of the weapons and money, the Europeans could relax complacently in the view that the spigot would always stay open, allowing the Eurocrats to enrich themselves at the cost of the blood and soil of Ukraine.

The goal of the Eurocrats was always transparently obvious: to inflict a terrible strategic defeat on Russia, resulting in the overthrow of President Putin, and his replacement by a Western-backed, subservient, traitorous class of lickspittles, like Yeltsin back in the day, that would allow the West to plunder and rape Russia’s incredible resource base.

The astute reader will recognise that this is exactly the same plan the neoclowns in the FUSA have had since, very roughly, the late 1980s.

None of that worked out. Russia is WINNING. Indeed, the Russian Army is now moving so fast on the battlefield that it is nearly impossible for the mappers to keep up. Notwithstanding serious Ukrainian counterattacks in Kupyansk, the Russian military has now captured no less than five fortress towns and cities in the space of about a month – Pokrovsk, Seversk, Volchansk, Mirnograd (where hundreds of Ukrainian troops are now fully encircled with zero hope of survival), and Kupyansk (where, again, the Ukies are counterattacking hard, but where they WILL be smothered and destroyed).

The Russians are attacked on at least SEVEN different operational axes across a thousand-mile front. In Zaporozh’ye region, they are a few dozen kilometres away from the large industrial city of Zaporozh’ye itself. In southern Donbass, they are about to crush the last of the Ukrainian resistance in Mirnograd, before moving outwards from that pocket farther north and west – though Ukrainian drone operators continue to plague their efforts to concentrate and move armoured columns out of Pokrovsk itself. Having taken Seversk, the Russians now threaten the last big fortress in Donbass – the urban agglomeration of Slavyansk-Kramatorsk – with encirclement on three sides.

There is no way out of this trap for Ukraine. Once Donbass falls – and IT WILL FALL – then there is basically nothing stopping the Russians from marching west to the Dnieper and sweeping everything else before them.

Now, there is even talk of a major Russian offensive sweeping south into Chernigov region. This would put them within easy reach of Kiev itself.

And we now know, based on public pronouncements by the top levels of the Russian government, starting with President Putin and Foreign Minister Lavrov, that they will now accept nothing less than the capitulation and surrender of the Banderite Regime in Queef, before imposing a true peace settlement.

All of this brings us full circle back to what the Europeans have just done.

Without a vote, without any pretence of legality, and without any justification whatsoever, they have just stolen the sovereign assets of a country with which NO EUROPEAN NATION is presently at war.

This is nothing less than an open declaration of war by the entire EU against Russia. The confiscation of sovereign assets is, after all, a blatant and unquestionable act of war. #BasedOrban himself said as much – indeed, he used incredibly strong language about this idiocy, and I have no doubt his words reflect the sentiments of a majority of Hungarians, who strike me as an unusually sensible bunch:

But the member states of the EU never voted for anything of the sort.

To be fair, the Russians are under no illusions about any of this. Talk to any Russian military serviceman of the rank of captain or above, and he will tell you immediately that the Russians believe themselves to be at war with NATO itself, not with Ukraine. They recognise that Ukraine is merely the supplier of the warm bodies needed to staff the “meat assaults” that they throw into the Russian grinder.

But this was always a de facto situation. The Europeans have just turned it into a de jure one.

We must add to this the incredibly stupid and inflammatory statements made by NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte – who is, like almost all of his fellow Eurocrats, a childless nobody and a completely failed politician with zero support from any actual electorate. He has no skin in the game, which is why he can get away with saying such flatly insane things:

All you have to do is to parse Rutti Frutti’s words to understand that he wants NATO to go to war with Russia.

This is not a war that Europe will survive. Indeed, by seizing Russia’s assets, Europe has already condemned itself to economic and political oblivion.

No government – least of all those of China, the Arabs, or any other Eurasian power – can ever again operate under the illusion that Europe is a good place for their money. No wealthy individual can ever rest safely again, knowing that their money is safe in European accounts. They all know now that European bureaucrats will gladly confiscate their money, without any legal basis, simply because they can.

And that means Europe will experience increasingly rapid capital flight.

Already, the Euro’s status as an “alternative reserve currency” has been destroyed. Its share in global foreign exchange reserves has plunged – so has the dollar’s, but the euro’s collapse is far, far worse. The euro is now third in terms of share of global reserve assets – after gold, no less.

When you add on top of that the catastrophic situation with European energy and food – where Europe rejected outright cheap and plentiful Russian oil, coal, natural gas, fertiliser, timber, and other raw materials – you have a picture of a continent that is good for absolutely NOTHING.

The only point of Europe now, is to serve as the world’s largest open-air museum. The European continent is full of beautiful architectural wonders, to be sure, but its people are weak, supine, stupid, and broken. Large parts of Europe are turning into open-air gulags – actually, they are simply following the lead of the Brits, which now leads the world in the number of people its craven and evil government arrests simply for what they say online. In Estonia, for instance, the government just jailed members of an opposition party for 11 years or more, simply because those members want an end to the 404 War and want to restore something like a working relationship with Russia.

Now, certain Europeans, desperate to deceive themselves into the comforting belief that things will go “back to normal” after the inevitable Russian victory, think that it will be possible to restore diplomatic relations with Moscow. Worst among this pack of morons is, of course, Rutti-Frutti himself.

Let us be very clear about this:

THERE IS NO GOING BACK.

Russia will NEVER view Europe as a continent to envy or admire ever again. The 300-year experiment of Westernisation is over. The efforts of Peter the Great to modernise the Russian state, along European lines, succeeded – but now the Russians recognise how much Europeans hate them, at the genetic level. And that is actually the right term to use. Europeans do hate Russians. They consider them to be subhuman Slavs, good only for producing natural resources that allow Europeans to eat.

The Russians, unlike Europeans, are not stupid. They increasingly regard Europe with utter contempt – except for rare and unusual nations like Hungary, Slovakia, and Serbia, which have not turned their backs on Russia, and instead do their best to maintain at least neutral relations with the bear in the east.

Russians no longer view the French, or Germans, or especially the British with any respect. Nor should they. Europeans deserve no respect whatsoever – and here I do not write merely of their governments or representatives in the EU. I deliberately and precisely write of the average European on the street.

If you are a European, and you are reading this, you need to understand something:

You chose this fate.

Do not waste your time and breath complaining to me about how you had no choice. YOU ABSOLUTELY DID, and you decided to go along with the narratives of your government. Or, you decided not to vote for someone – anyone – who might avoid this insanity.

You have chosen a future without cheap energy, which means a future without cheap food and electricity. That means you have condemned yourselves and your posterity to poverty, starvation, and misery.

And you deserve it.

The alternative course was to stay the hell away from Europe – to vote to leave, as the UK did. (Never mind that Britain’s Cuckservatives betrayed Brexit, and now LIEbour is throttling it dead.) Yes, the national governments of Europe ignored the will of the Dutch, the French, and the British, when all three groups flat-out rejected the Lisbon Treaty, but you always had a choice. You could have retained your national sovereignty. Instead, you sold it for pennies.

The future of Europe is incredibly bleak. Most of the continent will turn into a poor backwater, flooded with hordes of Arab and African Muslims, with broken and supine Whites wondering how the hell they went from world domination to second-class citizenship in the space of four generations.

All of this happened because Europe decided to go to war with Russia – by proxy – and lost. And Europeans have no one to blame but themselves.
