On a note related to the man-made religion of AGW – the Neo-Tsar said, just this Friday or Saturday past, that “Russia will continue to develop the Arctic, despite the fact that instead of global warming, a cooling may occur”. This was in relation to someone asking him at an event for students about Russia’s plans to develop the Arctic, and whether Russia needs Greenland to accomplish those goals.

The second part of that sentence tells me very clearly that the MFIC has known, probably for quite some time, that the whole AGW thing is complete nonsense – and is acting accordingly.

so, the furthest north possible reaches of Greenland USED TO BE WARM ENOUGH TO SUPPORT ESKIMOS, going back to 2000-2400 BC.

why do we know this? because National Geographic sent an expedition up there to establish baseline data about the changes and “dangers” that anthropogenic global warming is causing.

now i need a hammer or other suitably soft object to hit myself in the face with until i’m stupid enough to take AGW seriously.
