I’ve got my tickets to see The Original Movie on the 20th. I was maybe a year too young to catch either the show or the film in their original run, but I had plenty of the toys anyway and was a huge BEAST WARS fan in the 90s.

If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend Transformers One from a few years ago. Mr. Cullen didn’t do the voice there, but Chris Hemsworth does an admirable job of channeling his and Prime’s spirit. It’s not perfect and there is some small but mostly inoffensive “modern audience” pandering, but I went in with no expectations and got the best Transformers movie since 2007 (hate on Bayformers all you want, that first live action film RULES. I could take or leave the rest.)
