this is made quite explicit if you watch a Chabad exegesis on the Genesis creation story. according to the Chabad rabbi i saw on youtube ( instructing a class of young women ), both Adam and Eve were souls who pre-existed their incarnation into the material world. and it was their decision to incarnate physically. why did they choose to incarnate? because they had observed that Yahweh had already fvcked up his creation and “needed their help” to repair it.

you will note that every aspect of this is in direct opposition to what the text plainly states, which is that all of creation was “good” and without sin until after the creation of Adam. and that Adam was created AFTER most of the work of creation had already been completed and that Adam was created in Yahweh’s image, not someone who was in some measure the equal or superior of Yahweh, such that Adam could “fix” Yahweh’s flaws.
