Some of the best times I have had in meditation drawing closer to Jesus, and thereby equipping myself for my family with the armor of God, has been in the garden.

On your knees, plucking weeds and tending plants, harvesting vegetables and noticing the insects. It's time well spent and educational for a father. Patience, planning, diligence, focus, persistence are all rewarded in the garden.

It's like God put man there before he put him anywhere else, to learn to grow and to cultivate the creation around him.

The list of manly requirements above is excellent. Consider some gardening in addition to further separate yourself from the Babylon system.
