no they don’t, just like every other government agency they have been getting granted broad and extensive “interpretation” powers in regards to actual implementation of regulation and enforcement. also, it has been demonstrated for decades now that the IRS openly targets conservatives and there has NEVER been any consequence more severe than that a supervisor might get forced into early retirement.

Also, Honest Abe’s original income tax came back in the Gilded Age but was declared unconstitutional since it wasn’t based on apportionment among the states, which is why the progs had to get the 16th amendment ratified.

Marathon looks so incredibly meh. I love the original 3 games and have Durandal’s Marathon logo as my Twitter avatar. Other than being a first-person shooter, this new neon-soaked blockfest looks like it has f*ck all to do with the property and appears to be another IP skinsuit job. It might end up being awesome – Bungie rarely disappoints – but I’m not holding my breath, especially given the pedigree of the lead designers. I don’t trust any woman running a video game franchise anymore, not after what Bonnie Ross did to Halo and ESPEICALLY not after what Lin Joyce did to Homeworld (whose first game is my all-time favorite).
